  • @dbzownz12345

    This could be a SCAM! The person who "stole them" knows that BUYER! He recorded your name after sale & passed it onto the guy who "got stolen." They split the $1000 half & half. This is also a likely case and If not. That guy was determined to get his rims back. I'd never buy anything off marketplace unless I can see receipts & they show me license. If not, back out the deal.

    Wheels and tires is not something that insurance usually covers if they did, everybody would be stealing their own rims and tires every three years and saying that they need new ones from the insurance. The original victim, who finally got his property back was out of those wheels. What if they took those straight off the car he hasn’t had wheels or rims in like over a month or two, but you know, just saying you’re not the only victim, everybody suffers when people steal. This is a hard economy, thanks to Joe

    That’s what sucks about wheels that you can’t prove anything towards them. For all you know you probably had five or 10 sets that were stolen out of the 50 I’m just saying and it sucks because the one that’s in the middle that’s the innocent one is the one that loses out on the money

    If he’s had insurance then ain’t his wheels anymore. Simple. That’s why you see stolen cars 100% fine at auction. Once you claim stolen on insurance they’re simply lost in the wind

    Its fraud, they claim you stole them and are trying to sell them and will spot your stuff out, make fake claims(write counterfeit documents), report it stolen, then ask to buy it, message you about it, show up with the documents, then tell you that its there’s they call the cops, show up the cops the documents and boom they got you

    I think there is a law that protects you as a seller/ buyer. A good faith law or something that protects you.

  • @Na0uta
    @Na0uta Před 3 měsíci

    Possession of stole property only applies to the person who stole it. Or any person who willingly withholds stolen property. If you had no idea it was stole and have a receipt or proof of purchase. You are generally I'm the clear. But if made aware of the property being stolen, you need to make an effort to return the property. Best thing to do was to wait for the police to come and verify the information. Then let them go. It sucks, but it's the right thing to do. Legally and morally.

      I agree but there is a difference between having registration for an expensive vehicle and not keeping receipts for replica rims that they FORSURE bought online. Even if he fact checked the guy and the guy said he didn't have the digital or physical copy because he bought them off his buddy or FB, That would be believable because that's very common in the car scene with most aftermarket parts
