    Thank you!
    I do use Bionix i think 4 years.
    I did change them 3 days a go with a new color, the old ones work perfect like this new ones, ofc they are not premium like Noctua, Be quiet, but for 12 euro.

    I got a question. I want to put this as front intake on my fractal north. Theres a mesh and a dust filter infront of it. Should I go with Bionix F120 or Bionix P140 and why?

    If I run them at 700-ish RPM, would I gain anything over regular P14's as case fans?

  • @Jeff_Jaguar

    So in regards to their Bionix line, F is for flow and P is for pressure?

  • @NGreedia

    I got myself one of these fans. Although it's loud at full speed, and the frame vibrates so it doesn't sit still on a flat surface, it blows an insane amount of air. Even at 50% speed it's spinning at around 1200 rpm and is still quieter than my stock 140mm fans in my lancool ii mesh running at 1300rpm and still blows a decent amount of air. PW+PST should be a must on all fans. Noctua, Deepcool etc need to adopt it

    • @vyrgozunqk
      @vyrgozunqk Před měsícem

      Yep, bought some of those and the front 3xF140 BioniX, but they start resonating between 650-900 RPM, the resonation humm is driving me nuts. Above 1000 rpm they become noisy, because they're three after all. So I am experimenting still and thinking of disabling one of those...

    This review is lacking some very important information and I couldn't find it on your written review either. How are you testing the fan? Is it used as an exhaust on a case? An intake? Is it on a cpu cooler? Are you using only 1 or multiple on a case?

    How does the Scythe Kaza Flex compare to the P14ARGB. Also do we know why the ARGB significantly outperforms the regular P14?

    • @STSYT
      @STSYT  Před 2 lety +1

      For the Scythe, can't say anything before I get a set.
      For the P14 vs P14 ARGB, because those are completely different fans that are just sharing the same name and wing design. The speeds are different, the produced numbers are different, but we believe that the most important factor for their superior performance is that ring around the fan that forces the air to be more "guided"

    And compare 92mm fans for GPU fan mod .D

    • @STSYT
      @STSYT  Před 2 lety +1

      hmm.
      The review itself might be kinda hard to pull of because I can't use it in a standardized benchmark. Or at least not ours.
      But the GPU Fan mod idea is nice. I'll ask Arctic about this and we'll see what I can do there :)

    so bionix f140 is better then p140? for cpu aircooler too?

    • @mattk6827
      @mattk6827 Před rokem

      I don't know about the f140's, the p140's are horrid. Got a couple for front case intakes and seriously about to replace them after a month or so. I wanted to like them, they have a decent color scheme (black and white). They do push a lot of air. That's where the pros end. The frame is so flimsy I had to carefully mount it to make sure the frame wasn't compressed out of round causing the blades to hit. Thankfully I spun them by hand first and had to loosen the mounting screws and refasten to 'square' it up. Then there's the god awful noise. Much over maybe 900-1000rpm they become audible. Around 1100-1200 there's a nasty hum that drones and faster than that they become louder than every other fan in my build. They just sound nasty and cheap compared to noctua's or even phanteks 140mm. Like $35 down the drain. I should've known better, arctic's always made kind of sketchy fans imo.

    wait i don't get it, P14 ARGB is more effective as intake fan than Bionix P140?? Isn't it just a RGB version of P14 ? It's just that Bionix P140's price is way higher than p14 argb(where I live at least). I myself have 2 bionix f140 as intakes and one guy told me that I should use P version as intake fan. Which kinda made me confused because I myself always thought that P(pressure) version should be used if there's a radiator or some obstacle AFTER the fan(in a way of airflow that fan produces I mean). And F140 version is perfectly fine to use as intakes and place it after dust filters. Not sure what to think now with ARGB P14 being more effective than bionix f140 tho:/

    • @STSYT
      @STSYT  Před 11 měsíci

      Don’t get confused on the naming sheme here, P14 ARGB is not the the RGB version of the Bionix. And the P14 is not the same as a P14 ARGB.
      And try to forget that whole airflow vs static pressure debate. Although it is true on paper, what manufacturers call airflow and static pressure is a completely different story.
      But to make it easy, P14 ARGB for basicly everything. It’s the best 140mm fan Arctic has
