A great school, great results, under achievers put it down to make themselves feel better. Current student, couldn't be happier.

Ex student. It's actually a good school and you don't realise how good of a school it is until you have left. Thoroughly enjoyed my sixth form here.

Arwyn Powell a Former Pupil of Monmouth Comprehensive School From 1982 to 1987 stateing that if only half the fucking teachers back then knew how to teach then the School would turn out to be a more better School in the first place!!!

Most of this is untrue....! Because if the school was so good, they wouldnt make you miss 3 lessons because you hit somoene back because they hit you its pathetic..!

Crystal changing behaviour and teaching emotional literacy is more complex than simply missing lesson - violence is never the answer and schools need to teach pupils this.

this does work, but only if the misbehaving student wants to better themselves. current student at mcs - think that this isnt always the best way as it doesnt always work but the school as a whole is actually better than most. the only reason it can seem bad is if you have a negative attitude and expect it to be (although not all teachers are brill ngl)
