- The father of teenager Jay Slater has told Sky News "I just want my boy back" as he tells of the nightmare his family has gone through since his son went missing in Tenerife six days ago.
Warren Slater said he hoped someone had managed to help his son off the mountain.
Rescue teams are continuing to search a mountainous route in Tenerife which he is believed to have taken.

Just seen a video where someone posted in the private facebook group claiming they were all, including themselves, part of a gang selling drugs for a moroccan mafia OCG. They apparently operate in Tenerife and Ibiza. The poster said they each get given a bag and that Jay lost his bag which had around £17,000 worth of drugs in it, so the moroccans kidnapped him until they got £30,000 from the rest of them. The person said that they went to the police immediately to try and turn the situation around.
All sounds far fetched to me but I've read the post and it is very detailed. They go on to say that this Lucy character, the one who almost immediately set up a GoFundMe page for £30,000 is not the innocent person people think she is.
So a convicted criminal with links to drugs and who owes money is missing then his family sets up a gofund me . Stinks of a scam to me . Police should be investigating his family and not having a free holiday .

Jay Slater, 18, of Fountains Way, ACCRINGTON - 18 month community order with 25 days rehabilitation activities and 150 hours unpaid work. Convicted of s18 wounding with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and violent disorder in August 2023, when he was aged 18. He is now 19.
Tom Hilton, who was 17 at the time of the attack, suffered a head injury so serious his skull was exposed, and wounds to his shoulders and legs in the attack close to the Old Paper Mill in Hermitage Street, Rishton, in August 2021.

Please compare pictures of the convicted Jay Slater in the Lancashire Post article: Eight handed community and rehabilitation orders over attack 4th August 2023, with any other pictures of missing Jay. It is the same person.

Makes no sense. These men said they offered him a lift, so why after the bus was two hours did he not just go back or better still charge his phone before he left and check google for the bus times, the property has wifi. He left at 8am but by 8.30 he called his friend saying he was dehydrated and lost. Something not sitting right with all this.
It's been reported he was also seen that Monday evening also.

Absolutely zero information and nobody talking about the 2 guys he went back with who were staying in the airbnb. Why is that? Were the media giving some information and told not to mention anything about them. I didn't get the walking away bit either , and his mum can't even look into the camera. When she was speaking a few days back I kept thinking why isn't she looking into the camera. Eyes down most of the time if not All. Very strange.

It’s not a UK police problem. We never invite foreign police over to search for any international victim of a crime, why are people making a big deal out of it? Are the public actually saying we have the best police in the world? Usually they slate them… or at least the court system for leniency on weapon offences

@@lamulanakalawa9376look it up, the victim was Tom Hilton, attacked by Slater and 7 of his mates, Slater had a Machete, the others had an axe and golf clubs, near scalped the lad and left him with very serious injuries, then laughed their way through the court proceedings..

Something very strange going on here…me and my ex partner got little lost in those mountains looking for some stupid jungle zoo thing! Got off the bus too early and ended up in a village with a huge cemetery (the type where bodies are put in slots in a wall). We found where we needed to be eventually after a 5 mile walk in flip flops (never again). There are little hamlets and houses dotted all over the mountains.

The weather was relatively mild on Monday. Highs of 20 later in the day. I'm unsure if weather is a factor.. possibly the fact he was sleep deprived, off his head on drugs and made an unwise choice to walk back.. the fact he asked the woman twice about the bus indicates he was already in a state of confusion. If he was so thirsty why didn't he ask her for water? That strikes me as odd. The other theory if the conspiracists are to be believed is he got into serious trouble with drug gangs which seems like a possibility given he was hanging out with a drug mule he barely knew.
He did say he needed water .....
