    Why did the coloration disappear after you poured the resin? It all turned gold?

      This happens because Bismuth is a very soft metal with a very low melting point. The colour of Bismuth is determined by the temperature the metal is at upon oxidation. As the resin cures it becomes hot due to chemical interactions between the Epoxy and the Hardener. This causes the Bismuth to essentially "begin" the melting process once more.

      John Smith you can buy everything here on eBay fairly cheap
      Other thing maybe worth buying that’s slightly more expensive would be a vacuum chamber to remove air bubbles from the resin
