ryker rally jockey shifter for under $50

here's my cheap azz attempting and somewhat succeeding in hacking my way to upgrading my gear shifter to a jockey shifter. everything you see is obtained online and local store .
here are the parts.
1 . light clamp for motorcycle bull bar 1.25 inch diameter
2 . a rubber spacer
3. a pack of 10-32 1 1/2 inch bolt with washer and nut
4. motorcycle gear linkage. preferably short 170mm to 190mm
5. a drill to drill into the shifter
6. motorcycle shifter
7. 3/8 2.5inch bolt with washer and nut (get the lock nut)
note : i keep saying a hex nut instead of a hex bolt ...

Shorten your linkage and your throw will be shorter. You will need to play around with mounting locations again though.

What size bolt the is used to replace the excising short one at the shifter?

Also if you move that clam backwards and the shifter leaned forward you might get better results

Id make a suggestion to use stainless nuts/bolts, those zinc ones wont stay rust free for long

I tried 170 mm and it's too short rubs the bottom panel way too much I'm gonna try a 190 next

No good without bends in the shifter.

I bought my Ryker used so it already has one but I would have copied what's already on the market. You're good as long as you don't try to put it on the market.
