Hey brother, for the longest time Jackfin lures were not available in the US. I just grabbed some of the Pelagus-165S stickbaits from Striker Tackle if they’re keyed in on a little smaller bait... if you look at their action it’s absolutely incredible. Parallel sinking with an awesome wobble. Another sinking stickbait I grabbed for a smaller profile is the Amegari Lingo 160. Both of these have incredible action. The Amegari can be found on Saltywater Tackle. Jason from Siren Lures also released the 225 Deep seductress and the Sorry Charlie 170 again.
And I myself am actually a lure builder and have been developing two sinking stickbaits all winter long. My IG is @maelstromlures and the way things are going right now I’ll have 2 resin injection production stickbaits that will be built to handle anything you can throw them at. 2.4mm 316 marine grade stainless wire harness on the 8.5” model, and 2mm 316 on the 6.5” model. Both wire frames are completely closed loop systems utilizing two 450lb crimps to lock everything together. Too many guys shape the wire and rely on the resin body to hold it together and that’s simply not enough for my piece of mind.
Definitely get a hold of me on IG and I’ll get you a couple samples before the season kicks off. They’ll be fully foiled on the side scale, a few abalone specials, 3D glass eyes etc. and I’ll do them in any pattern you like.
