Remember, it's your layout! You can have 1st Gen EMD/Alco/FM and even steam moving 72ft modern reefers and pellet hoppers. The local transportation/rail museum needs them to exercise so as to not freeze up. At least that's my justification. :)

ok, Im jealous. Many times I've found vehicles that would fit my time era but their out of scale. For you to get a 'free' one that worked out well enough to use on the layout is a great stroke of luck. Here's to many more lucky finds for you!

Whoa, Phoenix to Sedona, huh? Can you say density altitude? As far as the Santa Fe locos go, I seem to remember a power shortage for a short period that ended up with UP leasing some ATSF engines. Have fun on your livestream.
Engines are expensive and so smaller train lines like to use older engines and so I use Santa Fe , csx , chessie and union Pacific on my train layout.

Do you need to do the runaround? You've pushed the train towards the yard since the locomotives were in back to back alignment.
I’m sure you’ve been asked before but what are the locks and keys for on your fascia ?
they simulate the conductor having to get off and unlock the turnouts
Next time tell them Santa Fe Has running rights. any way its your layout.
