There is no doubt Nicko could do the intro roll, it's not as difficult as the rest of what he is playing. So I wonder why he has chose to change it...maybe he will explain later on at some point. Great video thanks for sharing and so quickly! UP THE IRONS 🤘
Nicko hasn't played a lot of the drum parts, fills, and kick drum parts, he also doesn't seem to be using the cymbals as much as normal. Probably just age now, he is seventy years old and maybe his health isn't great? He definitely sounds better than the first couple of shows though.
Adrian stopped playing again during a song. You can notice it after the solos. He seems frustrated as this isn’t the only video where he stops playing and starts looking around..
This is what they offer to us now. They already did all the things you are asking about. Play Maiden England on your headphones if you wanna hera the young maiden. Cheers.
Either Nicko is nearing the end of touring, or he is trying to make the senjutsu material sound less agonisingly boring by playing the same boring drums that he did on that album.
Actually it's better than the last 3 shows. This time he starts coming in 4 whole beats before the main lead comes in. And from the footage I've seen, he appears to be way tighter. Very encouraging.
I am starting to think that Nicko might be suffering from early stages of dementia/Alzheimer's, or perhaps Parkinson's disease. Something is clearly not right that can be explained from a solely muscle injury perspective. The way he counts down this song is so weird. (I realize that the video probably missed the first beat). These are speculations and I hope that I am wrong.
@@marthastubbs8321 listen to the final concerts of the legacy of the beast tour 7 months ago and compare. He is playing great. You simply do not "age" like that in half a year.
I've noticed from Senjutsu and their Mexico live album his playing is tighter and more intricate than here, but even then I've noticed his performances compared to Book of Souls and before is a fairly big difference. He likely has something going on that has been progressing and at this point he's choosing to play it simple rather than potentially be a total mess up on stage. He's 71 now so I don't hold anything against him for choosing to play how he does.
Bruce's voice sounds weird. Can they not just drop the tuning a tad so he can sing it properly. Actually, is Nicko okay? I know he hasn't been that great this last 20 yrs but this is super repetitive, even for him.

Thanks for Your insight. I’m glad You picked this up!
Something wrong is happening with Nicko, he doesn't do rolls in Caught Somewhere in Time as well
He's gettin there tho cos he didn't do it at all at the opening show
He did change brands of drum heads, changed from Remo to something else. Could be a problem there.

Long Live Heavy Metal 🔥
Isn’t Dave’s solo fantastic?

True! He drops his hands. But then he continues to play. Maybe he was just tired since it was nearly at the end of the concert.. 😜
What time?
@@martymartin2894 How can you tell? I’m just genuinely curious
@timt2484 3:00 you can hear it too.
UP THE IRONS! 🤟🇧🇷

Thank you! Greetings to Finland! Universal union for the Iron Maiden!

At least a video with a great sound and image (difficult when you’re in the crowd) !
Thanks, I’m glad You liked it!
Bruce Dickinson has the power!!!
He sure does - sounded great the whole show!

Still no rolls at intro :(
But I realize that he played better than the other two concerts.

Strange, because he did the drum fill at the end but not at the beginning?
@@rayzerd77 yes but it was very bad
@@hyrulelink16 I honestly just think he just isn't able to play like he did, but I'm not sure the exact reason?
why did Nicko not played the usual intro roll ?
He is 71?.Andplay not Drumm shitt.
It's not him I guarantee behind the hidden kit. It would be easier for him to play that by now than to skip it as it's second nature to him.
@@martymartin2894 ??? not him behind the kit ? BUt who ?
@@lyonmaiden4229 I don't know maybe I'm crazy to think such a thing but he's so far off it doesn't sound at all like his playing to me.

The video starts at an odd time and it makes the countdown sound odd, but tempo wise it is standard. He is markedly bettee than the last 3 shows.
Will you guys leave the old man alone for Christ sake

Or he is old now. Just look at Lars Ulrich
