- For homes without an internal chimney, one of the solutions is to retrofit an external chimney. This brief video shows how straightforward it is using an ICS Schiedel Chimney System. Chimneys can also be installed internally, going through ceilings and roof, with safe distances. www.schiedel.com/uk/products/...

Thats exactly what id need for my house, as iv been thinking getting a Woodburner? Does your company do the fires too?
Hello sorry for the delayed response to this, we do have two models available, do you want to pop your email address over and I can send you some information? It's Leoni.thompson@schiedel.com. Thanks Leoni
Out of curiosity, why is it running at 45 degrees through the wall? Is it something to do with the draw? Could I drill the hole at 90 degrees and run the flue pipe through that?
Hi. Sorry for the late reply. It's preferable for an angle due to the draw, like you mentioned, but in our Installation Guide, on Page 6, you can see some examples at 90 degrees. We also have a document showing acceptable alternative connection methods. Both Installation Guide and Alternative Connection can be found here: www.schiedel.com/uk/products/steel-system-chimneys/icid/ - If you visit the page and scroll down, you will see Alternative and also Downloads.
In the usa the chimney has to be two feet higher than the peak if it's within 12ft or something like that , do you have any roof supports for extending the flue higher above the roof ?

Oh dear! Which chimney was installed?
Nothing as sophisticated as yours just plain single sheet ducting. I have painted it to camouflage it. Next one will be yours. Thanks for replying
