You should also check out the performance of this song at 35xxxv Japan Tour. It's slightly different. Here at Yokohama Stadium is usually how the song is performed though with the long tone and all. Nowadays Taka holds it for literally half a minute. It's incredible.
Mentioned it before but you should really watch Tomoya's Drum Ver. of "Taking Off." Efra should enjoy that one a lot. Would also like to hear his thoughts on more of their rock sounding songs such as "Re:make," "NO SCARED," or "Deeper Deeper."

OOR is really that band that turns anyone who finds them become a fan! Hahahah Taka’s vocal and stage presence is just sooooo amazing that you can’t help but fall for them! Of course all the members are awesome too! And I’m still bitter over the cancelled concert because I finally got a ticket after a ticketing war with much luck, but then it’s cancelled! 😭 i hate this panini season ugh!
Also, there is this k-band I’d love you to check out. They are not a rock band like OOR tho (they got a cellist in there!) if you have time, please do check out HOPPIPOLLA’s cover of Radiohead’s Creep! Thank you very much! ✨
Clock strikes was the first OOR song that I discovered and I was (and still am) so obssesed with it I played it literally everyday, even at school until my friends are getting sick of it lol. I didn’t become a fan after that though. Around 1-2 years later I missed that song and randomly check out their live performance on youtube (exactly this clip you guys just reacted) and instantly falling in love with the band and yeah, I’ve been a fan since then. There’s something about OOR live peformances that if you watch it one time, you just can’t hold yourself to check out the other videos.

I loved the beginning of this song. It is the only time Taka sang it before he sang Clock Strikes. So beautiful! Love your reactions cause you get so excited. So much fun to watch the both of you.

I was just finished kenshin himura and now im crazy over this rock band..omgggg
I think their name ONE OK ROCK should be pronounced as One O'Clock, if I rmb it correctly, the meaning behind it was that they used to practice their music at one in the morning and that's how it was formed.
Anyway, love your reactions as always! Really appreciate your thoughts on their music and that you keep sharing your knowledge with us :) If you want to see their songs with orchestra, maybe you could check out Pierce? I believe someone has already mentioned it in comment section.
And tbh, what you see today's OOR music has actually been toned down a lot imo. Compared to their early days when they were young and needed to vent out anger, today they are mature; they listen and teach us how to express emotions. That's what I like about OOR, they never limit themselves in a box instead they always try out different things.

They released a documentary today on Netflix that goes into the process of them preparing for a live online concert in the hopes it matches the same energy as an in-person show. It was so intimate and I think you guys would really enjoy it, and I'm sure many of us would love to hear your thoughts on it!

Taka did different lengths of his high note during the "Believe the time, it's always forever... oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh" in every live versions. It's awesome! ^_^
I´m a fan of Tomo. I always think about the physical stress playing for 2 hours. It is amazing and he always seems like having a blast
In the other Clockstrike live version, previously Taka can hold the note up to almost 30 second long! Yess he can do the legendary long-high note in Clockstrike up to 30 sec. Hope you reacted to that one, in saitama super arena 2017 he did it with 25 sec long. Just how unbelievable his vocals is that's why he's my fav singer.

I just heard the One ok rock band when I moved here in europe, and yeah its so cool..try to listen the Broken Heart of gold soundtrack of the movie Rurouni Kenshin(the beginning), it's very emo.
The ”one ok rock” show in Japan will have an audience of 30,000 to 50,000 people. And everyone sings together.
OOR is a really great band, their live performances are truly amazing! I hope you also check out other Japanese artists like Kenshi Yonezu and Radwimps!

5:06 I just want to clarify, most Japanese act disallow people to record performance onstage, both stageplays or concerts and this has become culture for fan viewing as well. I watched many concerts in Japan and all audience do stick and obey this rule. If there's someone who secretly record the video, other fans will report it to the staff who are standby around the block. This can followed up with their fanclub membership blacklisted. Mind you, to get the concert ticket in Japan needs you to be part of fanclub and follow the balloting system. And if only because of the recording makes you blacklisted, you wouldn't dare to record the act. I was a member of other Japanese band's fanclub for almost 13 years and I ballot yearly, yet I only managed to get ticket 3 times -_-;; me and my luck with the bands are not that good.

You should listen to their song the biginning, my fav! Also its pronounced 1 o'clock but with japanese accent it becomes 1 o'crock because japanese tends to mispronounce L's into R's. And they played with words.
I've been a fan of them since 10-11 yrs ago señor yr in high school, gosh, everyone was so into kpop back then while I'm having a blast with one ok rock, they only had a few songs back then. I love this band Soo muchhh!
