Since I met Satanachia thanks to the documentary "Loputon Gehennan Liekki" (2008) I have always been interested in knowing more about Satanachia and I am very happy to see him speak in English for the first time in an interview. Now i understand what i kind of idiot i was when i drink every day. 20 years of my life i dont remember. I drink everything. Every kind of alcohol, fuck worst girl, drink piss. I dont remember any black metal gigs... 3 days i was on perfect bm festival in Serbia. Darkness rising fest. On that fast play: Horna, Sargeist, Behexen and many good bands. 3 days we drink and 3 days i was drunk. People like that when i was naked and only i have boots. I destroy my live gigs because i was dead. Now i see everything totaly different. 2 years past without alcohol. Now i start with better life. And now i am not interesting for people.
Don't worry: I am sure you are more interesting now. And for different reasons.

Azazel should tour the US. I didn't know if they are funny, but Lord seems to be moody and serious too. I would not make funny comments around them as I don't know what response I will get. They are legit and needs to be respected. Thanks for the interview.

Rauta, you should do interviews about Finnish bands in Finnish. Not all of these guys can tell you about themselves or their music in English. You would get a lot more out of these interviews if the guys were allowed to speak in their native language.
I know what you mean, but the channel language is English so they would not reach a bigger audience. That's why they are not done in Finnish.
And before you suggest: so far nobody has volunteered to do the subtitles for free :)

For some reason I thought you already had an interview with Azazel. Guess I'm mistaken 'cus I can't find it now anyway. Don't know that much music from them, only really know them from Flames of Gehennah and similiar appearances. Good to see you returning to the natural habitat of doing these in person. However I will stand by the fact that some of those "zoom" interviews were great (espcially the one with Holocausto from Beherit). Keep doing the good work, I'll bother you about Deus Mortem in a few months again and one of these days you will have (hopefully) run into some of their stuff in your pile of endless blasphemy.

Necro is terrific live aswell Jerry (he's played with a bunch of bands, Plaga one I know he did somewhat recently). Necro writes such good music, I love what he did in Thunderbolt and Deus Mortem is just that much better.

(yes I know Azazel many years ago) because of a friendo He have the EP on vinyl back in 95, but I can barely understand him, when you questioned him about the norwegiam scene he answered bathory, and the other guy I dont understand any Word he said, the drummer seem to be a nice guy, very friendly, but I think that Satanachia is very stange and possessed (by alcohol) nice interview as always Rauta........ Can someone PLEASE tell me if these guys were the band that was in a Documentary years back. They were back stage and one of them started writing on the wall with a marker and then the venue ends up kicking them out. Ive been trying to track that fuckin documentary down for like....a year and cant find it but im not sure if its these guys or not. Someone HELP! Please! Lol

What does Satanakia say to the interviewer at 5:25? He seems to slightly lose his temper at the interviewer and tells something like "don't tell my base"? Anybody has a clear idea of what did he mean by that?

Sometimes when people talk, some saliva bubbles fly in the air, aka unintentional "spit", as you probably know. He meant that. Nothing more serious.
@@RautaMetal That's understandable. More often than not these small accidents are just an insignificant nuisance, but Satanachia got way too nervous lol. I guess that's what happen when you are that intoxicated.
