How to Change your ATMs Battery in Your S&G Electronic Lock.

Mine was smooth all around. I gently pulled the top from the base. There were 2 mounting points, one on the left and one on the right. 2 9V batteries.

I have an almost new Hyosung ATM with this style.
Beeps indicating low battery and I didn’t know how to get into this style

Might require a little screw driver to lightly pry it down After releasing the catch. Then it crashes to the ground

Just got my battery out, its a Duracell. I marked it Aug 8 of 2019, so it lasted 4 1/2 years :)

The S&G lock on my Fort Knox safe does not have a battery compartment. You just pull the lock off of 4 mounting points and inside are 2 9v batteries. Replace and push the lock back into the mounting point or prongs.

Dumbest thing SG did was use a 9v battery. Who keeps those on hand? No one, that's who :(
