The combination will be retained. You can tell when the battery is getting weak when some beeps are fainter than others.

No have compartiment batterie same video I have a pas ex200900 under door it is flat with compartiment batteries where the battery in my model

I have a liberty and the ring around the dial will not twist off. Do you know how to fix this?

Liberty has several different model locks. Some slide straight up, some pull straight out, and some have a battery compartment on the outside under the keypad. Most likely yours opens one of these alternate ways. I hope this helps!
