Fantastic stuff, some of it went right over my head, but several things were quite enlightening.

why would you suggest that speed density is better for the base tune versus alpha-n?

if running a turbo where primary load is map, is there much to be gained from tuning the secondary load with tps ? i.e compared to when using an NA engine?

Generally, turbo motors are textbook Speed Density. MAPxRPM vs Duty Cycle is very well behaved. That being said, bet a really big log of all around driving and plot RPM=x, TPS=y and AFR Error =z and see what you get.

How do you come up with these commands to view the data? are these ways to collect and filter data?

  • @christopherlamontnelson1729

When would you use additive based secondary?

from what i remember, i used VE TABLE 1 for all of my N/A areas and have switching to VE TABLE 2 for all of my boost areas...is that a correct way to use these features?

I think you are talking about table switching. This is table blending in the video.

@@AndyWhittle_HowEFIworks ok, so these aren't the same like i was thinking...I've been out of the MS game for a while. do you have any videos on the switching tables tuning? glad to see you're still around since I'm just finding your videos 2-3 years later.

What do you recommend for a wide band? I'm assuming something that communicates quickly and over can would be the best

@@ReubenHorner Well yes and no they wont last long running rich, only other choice is the ballanger afr which uses the ntk, but the sensor response time is 120ms best.

@@norb231 I was running it fairly lean. I will go Ballenger ntk. Not too worried about the response time if it won't fail on me
