I got a national express from manchester to ATHENS years ago ,After paris their was a french couple on the coach ,We taught them English ,BOILS MY PISS ,GETS MY GOAT, YOUR DOING MY HEAD IN ,They were fluent in 48 hours when we got too Athens .

Ow do Sam! Ow do Daz! Love these walks and talks. I remember going to watch Bruce Springsteen in the Etihad stadium, and we were staying in a Premier Inn. I'm sure it was down by "The I Wing" you pointed out, because our hotel window looked out into them buildings if I remember right? Not far from Bury New Road? Because I remember needing the shop next morning after the concert, and I mistakenly walked down that road and felt proper intimidated by all the shop owners coming out and watching me by their doorway.... between that and being by Strangeways - I couldn't wait to get back home to Liverpool 😮😂

I was born in Higher Broughton im 66 now, I've been in Strangeways, not as a prisoner...My father George Fildes back in the 70s went there to get his licence as a Pub licencee. Now I have a son in law who did time in Strangeways way back. He's 50 now and married to my eldest daughter, they have two girls growing up in this strange world. As a father he's brilliant as a son in law he has always respected me and my wife. It must have been The Gate House me and Dad went in. Changing Cheetham Hill is a good thing, a very dangerous place. Look forward to your next video, getting it out to our younger generation. Stay safe I'll see thee...😂

So many not in jail who should be and too many inside who should not be.for multiple reasons but the working class get shafted all the way .its good to see your input you can tell a mile off you are genuine as they come.Good on you Mr Samworth.

It's is m8 when I first started going in there as a 15 year old, you'd be lucky if you had windows in your cell, buckets for toilet and white jugs for drinking water, rough as toast, Mr Facker c**t

Thanks for this. A real insight to behind the wall. I never understood why anyone would plead guilty to something they've not done.. I guess it's not as simple as it seems and waters get muddied in order to get convictions. Not right at all!

Hi @smudgermick I’m the randomer from the video 🤣🤣 there’s several reasons why I had to go guilty. The main reason is that regardless of what I did or didn’t do, I was never going to win a trial and I would’ve ended up with years and also my remand time would’ve been extended potentially another 6 months. They offered me the deal, I took it and now here I am today :)
Hi Bayley, thanks for taking time to revisit your experiences. As I said, I have always struggled with guilty pleas when not guilty.. in effect being charged/sentenced for something you've not done. I fully understand and respect your decision though, you have a young family to think of and you made your choice with your family in mind - hat's off to you buddy! As Sam said in the video, it would make much more sense to free up prison places by letting minor offenders, like yourself, out on tag, thus ensuring the likes of paedos, groomers etc get banged up where they belong. I am glad Salford Van Hire looked after you by giving you your job back. Stay safe, stay happy and look after your lovely family. All the very best to you mate. Respect!@@bayleybrookes

i got 6 mths on a first offense for affray. i got sent to hmp wolds. its a piss take really. i was just defending myself and my girlfriend from some guy who started attacking me for no reason. in court they just showed us grappling , my mrs whacking him and then me hitting him when he was on his knees. the judge said i should of walked away, how could i he was attacking me. so i come out of prison with a criminal conviction, no job , signing on. if my mrs wasnt let off and still working we would of been homeless. the guy who instigated all this got let off

I remember Sam prison officer I was on H wing for about 5 days when I went in wasn’t on a detox, then when there was room moved on k wing middle wing think it was called the 3’s don’t remember few years ago, anyway this guy was ok, I’m sure after 9 months on k wing when I was transferred to Durham I’m sure Sam was the guy that came early no warning came in said pack your stuff your going to Durham. Sure he did few of the work places an education. Think we’re talking around 2007/08
That female officer, the bully. She's named after a European country and she's a bit on the plump side . One day at the servery on G wing she was shouting her mouth off at prisoners as she always does. She said to one prisoner " dont make me see my arse" i think she meant lose her temper. I replied back " nobody wants to see your arse , i can guarantee you that. " everyone burst out laughing and it was the only time i seen her not able to speak. Lol.

The system isn't designed to rehabilitate people, good people working for the system have their hands tied by the system and the few exceptional people i've met who've turned their life around have done so despite the system, not thanks to it.

Domestics ...as long as the abuser isn't a 'high level ' informant (which i was unaware of), he broke bones in my body punctured my lung , the police did nothing, he still walks amongst us, his behaviour unchallenged. This poor guy did nothing anywhere near as bad and he gets that ! The police and courts are beyond corrupt ,beyond broken A third of women in prison are there because of Tv licence .....

Lived in Dover the customs used to say to us talk or walk ….either try explaining why you was over the limit in your bags or leave them and walk out ..thing was if you tried blagging your way you lost the stuff anyway and your details went on the customs data base ( foot passenger duty free times ,the good old day )
Has someone finally pulled their finger out and decided to have a clean up round there? Last couple of videos you have done round there the place was a Shithole rubbish everywhere and used niddles and Condoms now looks pretty clean! But am sure the shops round there haven't changed and still full of dodgy wheelers and dealers that try and sell you crap you wouldn't want to buy even if they paid you
