Night 1 was definitely better than Night 2. The card looked worse on paper, but it's execution played out well bar Boogs getting injured.

TSU is a Historically Black University so them playing Bianca to the ring was just a nice nod to the community. They could've at least explained who the band was lol so it makes sense why Corny didn't get it.

What you heard before Cody's music hit is a soundbite of him saying, "Wrestling has more than 1 Royal family". The Soundbite before the music was part of his AEW entrance as well. That's why the fans cheered when they heard it.

@@burntvirtue It definitely was his voice. I was there in person and the combination of everything going dark and then those words coming out blew the roof off the place before the music hit. I'm still in shock he was allowed to come out with that whole presentation, but I'm glad because no other song would have worked as well for his character.

Jim's so right about Gable's attire. They could have given him proper gear, treat him like Angle or Lesnar.
I'm sure he'll have real gear when the time is right. Angle wore a Tshirt and windbreakers in his debut segment. Lesnar had gear, but that's because his debut was making a run-in.

Dominick needs a good costume and a cool mask and that would help a lot. Rey looked like a baby when he wrestled without his mask and it hurt him to a degree.

I said the same thing about Logan Paul -- if the Miz can go from a reality tv star to a top heel then Logan can be a midcard guy somewhere. And I can't stand Logan Paul and it pains me to praise him. But he could absolutely do it full time.
The sword may not have been rubber. It might have just been the rolling shutter effect, often seen when taking photos of golf swings or baseball swings.

Enjoyed night 1, was pleasantly surprised.
I am gonna make a bold statement. I was there and imo Seth Rollins' entrance made him feel like the biggest thing on WrestleMania. The attire, the fire, the music, the fan sing along, the (some shade of green was a thing of) green titantron, it was a thing of beauty.
While he said he couldn't challenge anyone for the title, there's no reason he couldn't be challenged.
Vince McMahon actually has the correct take on the Star Spangled Banner. America, the Beautiful is a far better song.
This wrestlemania was package after package.
They were actually bathroom breaks especially the actual commercials. They must know people need to rub their eyes.

Cornette is wrong about the air guitaring. There were 2 guitar tracks.. Boogs played the simpler riff, but he was actually playing. The sword isn't rubber.. the ropes were gimmicked obviously but the bending is normal for any sword.
Claymore broadswords will almost always chip or break before they bend. Katanas will bend, and other swords like it, but bending is not normal for any sword. Please don't talk about stuff you clearly have no idea about because you look like a mark in this instance. That sword wasn't real. They aren't sending a wrestler out there with a real sword lol
I’m a new wrestler myself and I must say the worst thing that has happened to me so far was when I went up against a 330 pounder and the first thing he did was drop his ass right on my head/face , I thought I was dead and come back to life just to feel the pain and die again
For swords such as the Braveheart style sword that McIntyre uses there is a bending effect due to how long those swords are. It's going to happen with those kind of forged swords.
There’s just something about Corny, a well known infamous figure in pro wrestling, and noted lover and hater of most things modern, loves the Paul Brothers in the wwe. Yet fans of boxing and cage fighting/ The UFC loathe them.
It's because they were basically born for wrestling.
UFC fans hate them because they shit talk the UFC. Boxing fans hate them because they fix fights and make their sport look even more fake than it already does.
Wrestling, however, everyone already knows is a work. So they fit right in with the play fighters like The Miz.

first of all corny does not know the paul brothers- that helps a lot i guess. second of all they are, as much as i hate to admit , born showman for a younger audience (WWES main audience), so they fit in perfectly. LAst important thing they take themselves very very seriously in their business endevaours- thats what corny likes
It makes me feel good when I give my buddies my take the day after, then listen to Jim and our tales are pretty spot on. Makes my wrestling knowledge head grow very large 😂

With Austin I think he was mentally comparing this Wrestlemania with his last Wrestlemania. And there was a world of difference between the two. Hell it his and Rock's main event triology that made him and Rock a fortune and helped Vince take the WWE public. And this was Austin's greatest hits with a little extra Wrestlemania sauce on it for another ludicrous payoff for a whole lot less I guess.

Yea, I watched the Sunday replay like 6 times then it stopped working after about 24 hours after it became available and it hasn't been working since.
I watched night 1 a couple times....... couldn't find night 2 lol.....peacock is so shitty compared to the wwe network.

There were some very good matches here but man, it's all sooooo sloooow. Endless video packages (though they were all incredible, top notch production as always), endless entrances... I was completely burned out at the end. And it was just night one! If you take all the good things about both days, you'd get one hell of a WrestleMania DAY, but not weekend.
I personally really value the video packages, since I don't really watch weekly. They have great editing and explain the whole story leading up for you
@@zachjester1490 I agree 100%, this type of production is what really sets apart WWE from AEW and all packages are usually incredibly good, it's just that in a show that they showed packages for matches that took place the following night, and showed them on that night too, I just found it redundant and unnecessary in this particular occasion.
No issues with Bianca using the TSU marching band no one is sending the Tennessee band to Texas. TSU is an hbcu so they were perfect for the intro.

I always wondered why people would do a promo for a match literally just before they walk out to the ring. I’m hear I’m watching you got me. You don’t need to do a promo. That’s 5-6 more wrestling you could have given me.
If you put AJ/Edge, Pat/Theory and Roman/Brock in night 1, take out Drew/Corbin and the Usos/Nak and Boogs match and forget about everything else on night 2 it would be a top 10 Mania and you won't need it to be two nights.
Cody vs Rollins was moment and match of the night.

Problem with Dominik is he looks exactly lile the kid from Summerslam 2005 so he can't get over because he still looks like a kid.
Problem also is his height differential to Rey makes the Eddie storyline from 2005 all the more awkward. Facially he's as babyfaced as Rey but with Rey's mask he just ends up looking more like Eddie's son all along.
Once that's in your head, he's not chance of shaking it off.

As a Charlotte flair fan since NXT, glad she won, but this wasn't a top 20 flair match. Maybe it was just getting late but same as Brian Last, I couldn't get invested into this match either.
I don’t like Logan Paul but there’s no doubt he’s a good pro wrestler. It takes talent to do running power slam, 3 amigos, vertical suplex, and a frog splash in your 1st match.
As someone who's trained, no it doesn't. Just takes a few weeks of drilling those specifics and being in shape which he obviously already was.

I'll say this about AEW and WWE. As a wrestling fan, you can like both companies. I've been a WWF/WWE fan since 1987. It is 2 different products. AEW puts on better matches, but, they give you ppv quality on free TV. These guys are going to get injured, and that should not be the first and foremost thing to do on free TV. They need to build to ppv and the next week. It is ok to have a good match, but not for the sake of injury. WWE caters to all types of people, or casual fans. Both companies suffer from bad storytelling.
What I'm trying to say is that it is ok to like both, to like one, or to dislike both. We all have things we like and people's opinions don't matter. My opinion doesn't matter.
The Young Bucks would be Managers in WWE.. and you right Jim they wouldn't be doing all of that in WWE like they did anywhere else but I do believe they would Main Event Managers.. They can cut a great promo..
