Class 47 screaming through Sandwich

So there I was, all exited this morning to capture a glimpse of 46100 Royal Scot pulling the Golden Arrow train. I had arranged to head over to Canterbury West station to get some really nice footage and pics of such a beautiful loco but sadly something happened to the train or loco further up the line this morning. Whatever the cause of the problem it was soon announced on the interwebs that Royal Scot was no longer steaming down through Kent and would be replaced by a Class 47 Diesel.... And here it is! hammering through Sandwich like a goodun'.
Not quite the video I had planned for today but nice seeing a 47 fly through my home town.... and i got to mow the lawn instead of my planned trip to Canterbury 😂😂 Every cloud and its silver lining eh?!

beautiful , cab rode many brushes back in the 70s/80s good chance i cab rode that one depending on its home base
