Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 "Black / Fire Red": Review & On-Feet

Capitalizing on the current trend of Y2K running shoes turned everyday sneakers, Nike relaunched the Air Pegasus 2005 model. This new colourway that released a few months ago features a mix of black, red and pink tones. Striking in colour as it is comfortable. Check out my review to learn more!

I think the silhouette of these shoes is close to perfection for my taste.
Managed to grab the CDG collab from last year for about half of the retail price on stockx.

Interesting fact, this was actually a running shoe I wore back in 2005. While pretty much this reissue is exactly like how it was back then, I wasn’t really expecting anti different than what I remember most. I think people were expecting a lot more like premium leather, suedes and other materials upon this release, but these are true to the 2005 version as someone who actually experienced running in them and remembering that same quality, fit and cushioning overall. it was hard to pass on these based on the nostalgia factor and cushioning I appreciated when running in them. So needless to say I had no issues with quality and feel. Now I just rock these with casual fits on the go for comfort. Got both colors.

top 10 sneakers of 2024 in my opinion. they’re beyond unique and incredibly refreshing. comfort exceptional. got them early before release way back in late January or early February and did a pink lace swap.

One main reason I had to return these it was toe box was in bad shape and very poor QC . Nike needs to step it up . Other brands are killing it .

Kinda reminded me of those ugly off white zoom fly, but this shoe balances the pink and black well. Def a pass for me, those zoom vomero 5 have been a life changer thanks for reviewing it and for the suggestion I’m on my 3rd pair 😂😂
