      Fury certainly wasn't on his A game, he looked hesitant, took him a long time to take Wilder out who almost ended him twice. Fury even looked out of shape even for him. A tiny bit heavier than the last fight pretty much yet he looked fatter and less muscular.

Just like with of Fury's fights like his first Wilder fight, his fight against Wlad he was out of shape, and this has been said by John and Tyson himself. The reality is Tyson's biggest enemy is himself, he doesn't train or prepare too well.

    I do hope Tyson and Peter can put their differences aside. Every family has issues and they’ve rightly kept them quiet. Let’s not forget Peter was a big part of Tyson career and guided him to the beating Klitschko. Fury has done us all proud and also thank you Peter!

      Doesn't work that way. Styles make fights.
      Luckily, Fury only needs to go through a few more fighter to prove he is the best. A fight with Dillian, Usyk, and Joshua should achieve this.

    Sad to see a rift in the family .. maybe am wrong ?? I thought it was brilliant when they were all together.. their finest moment was beating WK in Germany .. and the press conference after it when Big John screamed at the press and told them all to stand up for Tyson .. brilliant banter even Peter was in tears laughing along .. shame really

    Sugar Hill brought this greatness out in Tyson. Tyson was always great but adding Sugar Hill to his game pit him on the next 2 levels up. With Tysons boxing skills and Sugar Hills aggressive style fighting Tyson is the closest thing to getting attacked by a Sasquatch

    If Peter was training Tyson.. Tyson would of been K.O'd as he'd insist in a tippy tappy jab and move performance and you can't do that v Wilder you need Kronk style

      True, Fury has moved up several notches with the Kronk style and learnt how to actually fully punch like a boxer. All that said the head movement and silky southpaw and orthodox styles Peter taught him also play a role in making Tyson the unorthodox bizarre unstoppable heavyweight he is today. Its sad what's happened between the two, but that's life. Peter always come across as a good man. Hopefully there can be a reconciliation later on.

      Nearly got knocked spark out in the first fight it went to points and never really troubled Wilder with any power punches in the first fight before the Kronk. Same vs klitschko, won on points but never came close to dropping him and klitschko was known for a suspect chin. Now he ran through Wilder twice and KOd him. Before he'd be retiring heavyweights on the stool not KOing them in the ring. Now he's knocking out a fighter who'd never been KOd. So yeh gone up notches as a puncher.

    The 1st fight was the best performance from Tyson and it should have been over then. Never got touched, made Wilder miss every shot except 2 near the end when he got cocky and started showboating. The fact he can beat Deontay in 3 different styles makes him an all-time great though

      No the second fight was by far the best performance, he got the game plan spot on, used his size, dominated the centre of the ring and backed Wilder up not allowing him to get any leverage on his punches.

      Aside from Fury being a little out if shape and having a fought camp I'd argue skill wise his 3rd fight showed the best. If we are talking performance hands down the 2nd. Had Fury had the same aggression and urgency in the 3rd as he did the 2nd Wilder probably would've been KOed in the 3rd. There were several times just in the first 3 rounds Wilder was rocked and hurt, but Fury clinched up rather than just KOing him

    Tyson's win reminded me of Riddick Bowe's win over the Cuban Jose Luis Gonzalez where bowe just picked his punches through a leaky defence and clubbed him into submission.Bowe and Tyson just had that extra class and strength and both guys sofenned up their opponents before destroying them with a brutal finish.

    I read somewhere that the rift between Peter & Tyson was over some kind of positive interaction Peter had with David Haye, after the Hayemaker had pulled out of the fight with Tyson for a second time and cost him nearly 2 years and a wasted camp.
