  • Les tracks Bigfoot in the ancient red cedar forests of Northwest California.
Sixty miles in-land from Eureka, California sits the land of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Here, the wide trunks of ancient red cedar trees stand like old guardians; their disorienting and protective branches stretching for miles towards the northwest sky. It’s easy to get lost here. And this old forest is dangerous. It’s the densest black bear territory in California…and a hot spot for Bigfoot activity. Les heads back out into the wilderness in search of Sasquatch. Les isn’t a believer - not yet. He needs irrefutable proof. He’s got to catch one on film. The town of Hoopa is swimming in Sasquatch stories. Les sifts through the evidence, talking to the locals, looking for signs, and attempting to invoke an encounter.

You judge these people as ignorant or less a person because they have or have not had the same opportunities for a higher education is bullshit. I've camped in these areas and believe it or not trees do make knocking sounds. Your imagination can run wild when your miles from civilization all alone in the woods. What a beautiful experience when it's completely dark and there are millions of stars in the galaxy and it's just you and these huge pines. The forest is alive with living things and I have had my moments of waking up at 2 or 3 am in the morning feeling like there was someone or something standing outside my tent. I come across these bigfoot prints every once in awhile. I believe there is something out there.

Alright, story time. So a few years back, I lived in the mountains of the pacific northwest, and I was going hiking/morel hunting with my dog. I was on this ridge called Bethel Ridge between highway 12/410. So after a few hours of mushroom hunting with my dog, we get back in the car and start heading home. As I am driving on this ridge, which was gorgeous, and on sheer cliffs, there was a sign alerting me to "Rocks Falling." and lo-and-behold the rocks were falling. I ended up hitting this MASSIVE rock and it ripped the oil pan apart. Immediately panicked I put the car in neutral and starting rolling down the mountain with the car off. Already being 40 miles from nowhere and no phone service, eventually the car came to standstill and I was stranded in deep woods.
Gah, and immediately getting out of the car, my dog gets spooked and runs off on me and I feel pretty scared. A few hours passes, and then FINALLY the dog comes back and a truck comes into view. I flag him down and the gentleman immediately responds, "you hit the rocks and lost your oil pan eh?" He agrees to give me a lift out to civilization.
"My name is Bob Gimlin! I discovered bigfoot!" First thought... oh fuck who is this crazy am I going to die. lol
But talking with him about bigfoot on the hour ride back was eye-opening. Like he was just sincere and really.. patriarchal and kind. Apparently he and some Russian scientists were surveying the area because of reports of sasquatch sightings. It was very interesting. He maintains bigfoot is out there, and it was surprising to google him upon getting home and, holycrap it was really Bob Gimlin and damn is that video he caught convincing.
Maybe the sasquatch threw rocks at my car. So yea, anyway, that's my story of meeting Bob Gimlin deep in the woods. Super nice guy and we lived in the same city.

I did a bigfoot pilgrimage to Willow Creek in early 2019 and like Les says at 8:15ish... feelings aren't facts, but there's something about the woods there that just... feel... weird. Me and my girlfriend at the time went for a walk in an off season trailer campground; beautiful little spot with a small creek running on one side and a large mountain with slope full of conifers on the other. Beautiful, but mossy and kind of dark for a daytime hike. I wish I could have enjoyed it but I spent the entire time with my anxiety at 9 and this undeniable feeling that something was on the hill, looking down at us. We got to the end of the trail and I suggested we turn around. Soon as we got to the park entrance, I let the guard down and exclaimed to my girlfriend, "sorry I was acting weird but I just felt crazy anxious like something was on that hill watching us" and she looked back and me and said, "I felt it too".

They mated with beasts n fish etc here's where things like this come from! And its all true! You know I hear so many darwinsists speak of how ridiculous bieleving in god is! N how could Christians just take the word of a bunch of ancient dead guys! But aren't they doing the same? Also DNA is like a computer program! This been said what happens when you start adding junk code into a computer program does it mutate n become.a better program or does it corrupt what was once orderly n worked n inevitably destroy it?! Energy electricity never is destroyed! Just misplaced! We bieleve in things we cannot see more than most realize! We've just been programed to not see or aknowledge it! Goliath was one of many giants! And mythology wasn't such a myth after all! Aliens are nothing more than fallen angels! Or they're worker drones! And sasquach is somehow connected they have access to technology obviously they had a huge head start on us!and they're fathers are of a much higher order ! But make no mistake these things hate us! I find it funny that Satan told God he will never serve those monkey's! Us! And what does darwinism say we evolve from?! Hmm

A piece of electronic gear that has never played up suddenly decided to malfunction as soon as we began filming. It lasted several minutes before we were able to get it working correctly. It's never done this before and I tried to reason it away but I had this niggling thought in my mind that this was caused by something other than a basic malfunction. I've had gear fail because of rain and humidity but not malfunction the way this did. It was like something was making the controls react a certain way I couldn't override. Weird stuff!! Well … look up a list of native names for the creature and their actual meanings. You’ll find that between a quarter yo a third of the names mean demon, cannibal, devil, hunter of women, etc. Those names communicate deep fear.
Also, Les should go up to Alaska, where most of the tribes describe a man-eating creature that actively hunts human. It specifically uses the sounds of babies crying when it wants to entice women, and mimics the sound of women in distress when it wants to attract men.

Last time I was in northern California one of my great nephews and I saw a ten foot one walking in a creek toward us as we drove across a bridge. I have a lot of interaction with them in southwest Washington state, so they know me. I'm sure that huge sasquatch knew we were coming. Every placed we camped in California and Oregon they came and vocalized for us, including Bluff Creek. Intent is everything to them, Les. So, keep a clear mind and good heart and they might give you a visual someday.

Dude, that hollow tree was extremely intriguing. It's amazing that you pinpointed it. Bet the Sasquatch wasn't expecting that. I wonder if it was hiding inside.

Here is a thought. It is hollow. Probably a woodpecker or a flicker inside chowing down on insects. A crashing nearby tree would be enough to make them stop. We had a semi hollow tree that seemed to be the insect cafe to flickers in the area, it finally had to be taken down before it took down our house. It was noisy dining while it was up though.
