  • Les tracks Sasquatch from East Texas to rural Utah in an effort to elicit an encounter.
Les begins his search in East Texas, invited onto private land by a local who claims to have experienced Bigfoot phenomenon for over 35 years. For Les to succeed, he has to find concrete proof. He collects DNA samples, analyzes tree breaks and plants hidden cameras to lure Bigfoot into his frame. Combining low-tech with high-tech surveillance puts the odds in his favor, but Les has to keep digging if he wants to find out the truth. Locals’ stories lead him to the remote mountain terrain of rural Utah. Here, ungodly screams and tales of haunted hollows find Les camped out in a canyon way off the beaten path. Les remains firmly planted between skepticism and acceptance. Lacking irrefutable evidence, Bigfoot is a contradiction. A 10ft monster that he can’t find…

😂 He's not very smart then. All you'd have to do is put two cameras facing each other and no one would be able to disturb them without being recorded. Almost always, they put cameras facing away, and that just makes me suspicious of their intentions.

les, if you see this, in texas they were there, but all the infarred comming off the cameras night vision kept them at bay. infarred is like us looking into the sun without shades. to get them in turn the infarred off on the cams and put a separate infarred source wide beam so it diffuses and covers the area allowing the cams to pick up but not running the bigfoot off.
i use a 500watt infarred as protection when in the woods. when shined on their face it is like ya threw hot water on them.

Les, I don't know if you will ever see this comment and or reply to me but here it goes anyway. I've recently been watching all of your Bigfoot videos. When I came across the episode you did in these texts it brought back memories from 1976 when I was 10 years old. We were at our deer lease just south of the Alabama coushatta Indian reservation and north of Woodville Texas. A couple of deer had been harvested that evening and we were having a good time by the campfire eating supper and reminiscing over the days hunt. I went around the back of a barn to get some more wood for the campfire and it was the area where we had cleaned the deer to process them. The gut piles we're left laying there close to the woodland for we had cleaned the deer that were hanging from a big oak tree limb. When I walked around the back of the barn I smelled something that was very foul and I knew that the entrails from the deer refresh but I shine my flashlight in that direction. That was when something moved and my flashlight landed on something very dark but Harry and it stood up the eye shine that I saw moving no more than 30 ft from me was probably at least between 7:00 and 8 ft off the ground and I could hear heavy breathing. That lasted for about 5 seconds and I heard a growl and it turned and ran off into the woods and I did the same except I ran back to the campfire for my dad and the others were at and told them the story. They just laughed at me but I know what I saw and they quit laughing at me the next morning when they saw the footprints in the mud by the creek right behind the barn where the deer had been processed. Mr Les Stroud I'm a subscriber of your channel and I love watching your videos and I truly hope that you are the one that eventually proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that what all of us who have had these encounters no is real. I hope you get the credit for bringing forth the evidence that once and for all shuts the people up that say that Bigfoot, Sasquatch or whatever else they are known as is real. Keep up the good work and God bless your fan the Texas Big Bear.

People that don't hear or see what you did, will never believe unless they experience it too. Just outside tonight, in the pitch black dark about 50 feet away down by my creek I heard large branches pop. Not snap......pop. definitely large pieces of wood. There's no bears around here either. Then only seconds later about 20 feet or less away when I was walking away, I heard a loud low tone hiss sound. The small animals here that do hiss have higher pitched hisses. I got super chills when I heard that (and I do now thinking about it), but I went inside to get my large machete. Something for the next 30 minutes was hanging around down there, but never came past the wood line. I had a fire going too. The sounds stopped as soon as my friends got back from the store. Maybe I was being hunted? When I shined my phone light into the woods, I could swear I saw a quick glimpse of a yellow glowing eye, but I can't confirm it. It was so quick. I live in a fairly populated area so I doubt it was a "big foot", but what could be large enough to pop branches that thick? Again, there's absolutely no bears around here.

Les, thank you for your approach and documenting this "phenomena" called Bigfoot. I'm a skeptic/fence rider like you. But I am open minded and know that we do not know everything about our planet yet. About 15 years ago (I was 35ish and have been hunting Utah & Idaho woods with my dad; since I could walk). My dad & I experienced the "hair on our neck standing up" feeling when we pulled into an area at o'dark thirty, approximately 20-30° F and about 6" of fresh snow on the ground; after a long day of whitetail hunting in central Idaho. We both, almost at the same time...said "do you sense that?". We were still in the truck, windows rolled up & engine running. We agreed it best to go a few miles away to camp for the night. The eeriness subsided as soon as we drove away. We didn't see anything. Didn't smell anything. Didn't hear anything. But we both definitely felt something. What it was...we don't know. Drove by in the dark the next morning to hunt again, and the feeling was gone. It would be interesting to ride horses deep into some of Idaho's wilderness's areas, where truly few people go; and spend a week or 2 researching. That way, you could almost rule out hoaxing 100%. Just a thought.

    Hey Les!
I am a professional wildlife photographer and I’ve been in nature for many years studying animal behavior and birds.
Something I do often to attract certain bird species is play recordings of their calls off my phone or a JBL portable speaker, if the birds are in the area, they come right in my area to check me out where I can shoot them.
I was thinking, in the previous episode where you played the recording from your witness of a suspected big foot, you should isolate that video clip and play it on a speaker out in the wild where you are in hopes you get a response and bring them in (if you want haha)
I have had much success with this method and getting stunning closeups of rarer bird species and other wildlife. It’s worth a shot! Love these episodes!

I really enjoy this sub-series of the show. I think Les can probably realize now that he was underestimating the intelligence of these beings and overestimating his ability to outwit them. People ask the question; How would a sasquatch know to hide from a camera or even know what it does? I like to answer this question with a question of my own; how do birds know to fly south for the winter and north for the summer; how do cats know to bury their scat ; how does an octopus know to come out of the water and take a coconut to hide in when sharks are nearby? The sasquatch are highly intuitive creatures that are highly evolved and adapted to meet their needs of survival. The forrests are their domain and they are as familiar with them as you are with your living room.

I found a very large footprint last winter in the mud right near where I see some of what looks like structure half a mile up my gravel driveway which need to check out tomorrow with aid of binoculars and camera to see if what I,m seeing is two small nests. There is a large X right in back of them and broken trees it could be nothing but I,ll see. Upon moving back last summer I heard whoops but one time only. I can't tell my family they think it,s all nonsense anyway. They live out here too. We live in GA and around us is nothing but hundreds and hundreds of empty forrested acreage and bodies of water and tons of deer.

Les, I've seen them twice. The first came into camp and scared the daylights out of my kids father's day weekend 2014 in North Fork Park north of Pineview Lake in Utah. I stood between it and my children with my pistol about 15 feet away. I could see the intelligence in its eyes. I see the muscle definition in its shoulders, arms and legs. It seemed curious not at all malicious. I did not feel that we were in danger but we left that night anyway. The next morning I came back to pack up our camp. There was a nasty pond down below that I heard at least two adult females and a bunch of kids. It sounded like kids at a pool. They were speaking a language I have never heard and I've traveled all over the world. I could hear consonants, vowels and sentence structure. After I finished packing up I went down to see who it was. As I neared the bottom the noise stopped and it sounded like a bunch of people splashing their way up on sore in a hurry. I didn't see the kids or females. But 50 yards away standing in 6 feet of water and looking me at 6 foot tall, dead in the eyes. He was jet black and massive but did not seem angry or upset. We stared at each other for a few seconds then he turned and jumped out of the water and landed two feet up on the bank. Then he looked at me like he was waiting for me. So my dumb butt tried to chase him, un armed this time. I was trying to get a picture but the camera on my phone would not focus. He ran up the side of this mountain like an Olympic sprinter. There was no way I was going to keep up. When I stopped running he stopped too and looked at me for a few seconds. I contacted the BFRO in Utah to report the incident and they came out to examine the area. One of the guys even measured the depth of the water. That's when I found out the pond was 6 feet deep in that area. They told me this animal was at least 12 feet tall and probably weighed 12-1600lbs. I was a serious sceptic before that. Now I know they are flesh and blood animals. I have been in the woods hunting and hiking and camping since I was just a small kid and I am in my mid 50's now. I have seen and tracked every animal native to Utah over the years. I know what I saw. I don't expect anyone to believe me. I certainly wouldn't had it not happened to me.

@jamescarr4662 your disbelief is understandable. If I were in your place I probably wouldn't either.

If he found Bigfoot he could not tell us about it. If it got out that they existed then they would be hunted to extinction. We humans are too stupid to not F it up. Sure maybe me and you might not but someone would have no problem.

I was watching a documentary from 1972 and they didnt find Bigfoot but they said " With technology advances the chances of finally catching one is inevitable , Any day now the questions will be answered " Fast forward to 2020. We still havent gotten one. All the famous researchers have come and gone. It's sad but.......anyday now😀LOL !!!
