I knew that when Sirius Radio was playing this song every 4 hours. Taylor loves Phoebe and listens to whatever she plays so no wonder they end up on one of her shows. But yeah, 3 indie women who have been collaborating for years and suddenly blow up is both good and bad. They are talented and deserve to be noticed, but someone has decided to put the spotlight on them so they aren't just an indie secret anymore. Basically, whenever someone in the industry sees an opportunity to make money they pounce, while people like us just care about artists being in a position to create good music to put out there so we can pick up on it.
This was the best night of my life. Please to the people who are upset or jealous… Know that I did not take this experience for granted at all & the people bragging and being annoying about it are making me mad. This was seriously one of the best nights of my life. I loved seeing Taylor… But Phoebe and Boygenius were what moved me to tears.

Seen Phoebe. Got to see Boygenius for $45 a ticket this year at Stage AE. No second mortgage required. Now my daughter was none too happy that Girl In Red was Taylor's opener the second leg of the tour when she got to Pittsburgh, because she wants to see Girl in Red, not TS. I'm a 56 year old man, but I love Phoebe and Boygenius (and Lucy and Julien, even before Julian). I turned my 15 year old on to them. :)
Anybody catch Julien showing her foresight and selfless thinking by grabbing her and Lucy’s mics at the end? Their friendship, as attested by the lyrical beauty and sonic glory of the album, along with their unspoken language including but not limited to playful smirks, raised eyebrows, and side glances makes me want to call up my friends and rekindle lost relationships. I love that theme for this album

But we also had Gayle and the first sighting of Matty Healy at ERAS concert when he came out and played guitar with the phoebes band. Ngl it was a magical night. So many great memories. I wish all of you were there too ❤️❤️

i’m sure that phoebe wanted this opportunity for all of them. one thing i love about phoebe is that although she’s arguably more popular than julien and lucy, she never left behind her real friends for fame ❤
Because in the grand tradition of musicians who are generous about sharing the spotlight, she probably said something like, "hey wouldn't it be fun if Julien and Lucy came and did a boygenius song with me?" and whoever it is that helps makes these things happen said, "that'd be really cool! Let's make it happen." And then it did.
because boygenius just put out an album they’re touring right now, and phoebe wants it to do well so she can keep making music with her friends? and because no one’s ever going to be anything but hyped to also get to see julien and lucy as well as phoebe’s regular set?
