I remember Alfio talking to me about this cylinder back in 2018 , I haven't rode my scooter since April 2019 because I've been waiting for this cylinder so I can build a new engine.

the limitation with these off the top is lack of water-cooling, but then again it may not be targeting that performance. 15hp from a 80cc air cooled street motor is good.
It would be nice to have a water cooling "kit" available from somebody in the states that supports them.
I usually find the country of manufacture doesn't matter. With some of the last generation of 2 stroke street bikes Thailand absolutely kills it with supporting these machines.
The cylinders aren't bad from China for the price. With a dremel tool to clean up some ports and knowledge of tuning a carb you'll get results that'll surprise.
No need for water-cooling in any way.... its not a 120 giant too big of a bore setup its a mild size that doesn't creat that dumb heat, well we sell 1000s of kits literally a year probably more then 10,000 last year, and country of origin does play a role, the china cylinders are junk the Manufacturing for these are on the lowest possible level that's why heat is a issue for them. Nothing to surprise us with. We install somewhere in the rhelm of 200 plus bore kits a year. 2-8 a week, not sure what your experience is and not bagging on you. But we have more experience in these bore kits then 98% of the people out there. the 2% are the other shops in the world that do this.

Currently the cost of materials to produce makes it a poor decision it’s on hold. Scooter demographic isn’t paying $400 for a high end cylinder.
