I am happy that Filipino singers are not worldwide “stars,” as those star-makers (international producers) demand a payment in return-a tremendously steep price that these artists must pay to attain that “celebrity” status. The highest price one can pay - the selling of their soul.
I’m just incredibly glad that they are now catching the notice and praise they deserve because the Filipino people, as a united community, have pushed them onto the world through the internet. This is enough. IMHO..
You are absolutely saying THE TRUTH. I pinned this comment for two reasons. 1)The truth you spoke about the global powers that title artist and the steep price they pay. To that I agree with you to be content with whatever height GOD permits one to attain. It should never be a do or die affair. After all what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and suffers the loss of his soul?
2)Second reason is you mentioned that the whole Philippine community rallied and used the Internet to make sure the world hears her ( just paraphrased). This is one thing I have noticed about the Philippines as I started to do a reaction to their artist. I didn't want to jump to a conclusion about what I "think" my observation was until I saw your comment. WOW!!! I wish my country had 1/200 of such spirit but alas it is just a wish😕.

Back to topic... What you say is true, too, albeit a sad truth. The global powers of which you speak are unGODly entities, and these mightily powerful & monied beings steer their “slave recruits” down their same unGODly path.
