- It would feel weird to return to the channel with a reaction to anyone other than Regine. You all know I have a special place in my heart for Regine Velasquez...A true queen. I'm so glad she sang "Vision of Love." This is a very special song masterfully written and performed by Mariah Carey in 1990. If you have ever struggled in life then this song is a great motivation and inspiration to keep persevering.

Seeing this at the gym is my motivation to do more steps on the stair master. Lolllll jk. Yes. I got very fat a few years ago during an alcoholism, binge eating disorder, and attempted self termination breakdown. But I’m feeling better than ever! Down 35 pounds since Xmas 2023, but I’m doing it for health and strength-not to look cute or skinny. I will never look like how I used to, and I’m okay with that. 🙌💪💪

I’m actually part Filipino. My mom’s mother was named Grace Santos and she was from the Philippines. She was also part Japanese, so I’m a mix of a lot. 😅
But I do not speak any Tagalog because poor Grace had a real life Miss Saigon tragedy and met my mom’s dad during the Vietnam war. She possibly killed herself when my mom was a toddler and as a result my mom ended up being raised in the US with her dad for a while-fully disconnected from any Filipino culture. And as a result I also grew up with no real sense of cultural heritage.
My dad was fully white, but on my mom’s side her dad was French Canadian and Native American, so growing up I felt most connected to my Native American heritage.
It’s a mess. I might tell the story on the channel when I’m back in a rhythm. 🫠
Good to know , what a story , yeah im curious mostly you reached to Pinoy , but any chance no effort to learn Tagalog soon,? Even short praises or slang. Start from there .
Someone called me Buset, so I’m learning some words haha 🤣 but I would love to learn some basic phrases. I only know mabuhay and buset right now.
