So true, Ryan. It’s such a complex disorder yet there is so little support for children and their families.
Yes, it's very frustrating
We have really struggled getting our daughter’s teachers to understand and honestly it’s hard for us to understand what to do at times.
Keep in mind, she most likely had zero education in ADHD so it's really not her fault. Parents often expect teachers to know much more beyond their scope
This is where I am at with my 6 year old. She’s struggling so much I’m thinking about having her redo Kindie. It’s frustrating… I feel so sad for her cause we’re trying everything now.
Yes! I totally agree. On the same note, I hate when people say, "oh, he's all boy". Uh, no. That doesn't have anything to do with it.
Yes I’m tired of that statement also. I’m also tired of the “he’s high-energy” comment from other parents and teachers.
That bothers me as well - as if there's only one way to be a boy
