With so many different tyre options available it can be difficult working out what is best for you. We specify high quality Schwalbe tyres on all ICE trikes, and choose tyres that best suit each trike's intended purpose and terrain. The ICE Sprint and ICE Adventure trikes are fitted with Schwalbe Tryker tyres. These have a specifically designed tread and profile to meet the needs of trikes. The ICE Adventure Heavy Duty or HD series trikes are fitted with Schwalbe Big Apple tyres. These a wider and deeper than the Trykers giving great comfort on rougher surfaces Upgrading an ICE Sprint to an X-series gets you race standard components. This includes the slick, fast rolling Schwalbe Kojak tyres. Schwalbe Kojaks give a low rolling resistance whilst maintaining ride comfort. The ICE VTX is built for speed. With Schwalbe Durano tyres fitted on the standard VTX and Schwalbe One tyres fitted on the VTX+ going fast is easy. Schwalbe Jumbo Jim tyres are fitted as standard on the ICE Full Fat. At four inches wide they can be run at very low pressures for great traction and comfort. These tyres are designed for snow, sand and any rough terrain that you can throw at them. All our trikes standard tyres can be easily changed if they do not match your requirements. Other options include the Schwalbe Marathon Plus with built in puncture protection and the Marathon Supreme with Schwalbe's Triple Star compound for greater grip in all riding conditions.

Great post. Thanks. My wife and I just got some Ice sprints. But the first time we ran them over a dirt patch I got a flat on the front with one of my Schwalbe Trykers. So now I'm wondering about trying out some Marathons like my wife has. Or maybe even the Marathon Plus.
