- We are incredibly excited to profile the exceptionally talented Nga Weng Chio, the brilliant composer behind the captivating Celestial music you’ll hear in Stormgate.
Our playtesters and the public have been showering the Celestial Armada music with praise. Now, we’re giving you a fun behind-the-scenes look at how Weng approached bringing this enchanting soundtrack to life.
In the video, you’ll get an exclusive glimpse into Weng’s creative process. Watch as she collaborates with a Bulgarian Choir to infuse the music with rich, otherworldly harmonies that perfectly capture the essence of the Celestial Armada’s ancient culture. While Weng is a classically trained pianist, you'll also see her use some unique instruments, including the eerie and fascinating Aztec Death Whistle, which adds a distinctive edge to the soundscape.

Music is often hugely underrated in games imho. Every game I've loved has some epic music in it somewhere, & it's looking like this Stormgate won't disappoint on this front!
Music used to be very important in a production. Now it's usually just white noise.

Хотел бы выразить свою благодарность Frost Giant Studio за то, что они решили возродить игру, которую я так люблю. Сюжетную кампанию в starcraft2 я проходил ещё когда мне было 5 лет, а до этого играл в первую часть. Мне так сильно она понравилась, что я перепроходил её снова и снова. И лишь спустя 7 лет я узнал что есть другие главы, после чего начал копить и на них. Я обожаю кампанию StarCraft 2, но очень огорчён тем что стало с Blizzard. И вот, мне уже 19 лет и я жду игру от разработчиков, которые подарили мне счастье, когда я был ещё ребёнком

i have felt pretty critical on parts on this game so far but the music has been great. i hope they incorporate something like AOE4's dynamic music system. one of the most notable things to me when i first played aoe4 was the sounds and music being phenomenal.

The faction is great and the song is absolutely fantastic. I immediately noticed it when I watched the first celestial showmatches. I like how transparent the devs are and that they are not afraid to to show how the sausage is made rather than trying to sell a vertical slice that's higher quality than the final game as "pre-alpha"
