That colourway is simply divine
To me, this is the most perfect watch out there! Beauty in simplicity!
To me, it’s the most beautiful color way from the current OP41 offering … silver dial with yellow gold indices is juts so elegant and timeless … I can image why Rolex have this piece as the mainstream version for the OP41
Thank you for your great report, exactly this simple variant with the fine silver/gold touch I personally find the most beautiful variant. Stunning, timeless, suitable for any age and for any style of clothing - whether sporty or elegant, this watch is bombastic.
This will be my first Rolex in a few years
This is a beautiful introduction to the Rolex line.
The yellow gold indices are amazing..
The description of this is incredible. No detail spared.
Tim doesn’t miss anything, he covers all bases, his reviews are quite exceptional. My only gripe is he doesn’t take a breath, it’s all rapid fire commentary that can go over the head if you’re a little hard of hearing.
@@Pulsonarthankfully CZcams has 0.5x and 0.75x playback speed options for us mere mortals 😂
I’m planning on getting this watch for my 30 birthday in 5 years
If this were to get discontinued it’d be a future classic. The champagne OP with yellow indices. A real beauty.
Amazing review. This watch is absolutely stunning, highly understated.
Is it worth to buy? Cause soon im trying to buy my first big watch and I want something that would always carry with me in my life. But beautiful rolex!
I wanna talk with u abt rolex watch..can u drop ur phone number?
love this dial but in 36mm for me (6.5 inch wrist)
Best review on CZcams! I own a sub 116610LN and a datejust jubilee fluted mint green sunburst 126334. Somehow I’m seriously thinking about adding the OP 41 silver to my collection. I feel naked without a watch but sometimes you’re just not in for the attention that a more “in your face” Rolex creates. The simplicity and subtle warmth added with the gold inlay is beautiful in my opinion..
My wife just got this color OP in 34mm. The gold accents on the dial are lovely. Nice watch!
Hows the value holding on the 34mm compared to 36
@@meaganfroh2812 I don’t know. I assume value is better with bigger, but I haven’t done any research and my wife will never sell.
@@aminreviews2311 got my hands on the 34mm silver dial op -i love it but so many people say i should consider selling with the market like it is?
@@meaganfroh2812 I would keep it and enjoy it
@@aminreviews2311 thank you!
I find the Easy link system useless in its current configuration of 5 mm. I have it on both my OP and Explorer. You never need 5 mm. It has to be a 2 to 3 mm adjustment in my opinion. Not more. +- half a link is what you usually need when you wrist expands or contracts
Works for me on GMT, Milgauss, Air-King, Daytona and OP, I don't think it as much as 5 mm? But agree they should have the 10 mm glidelock like in the yacht master. I use the 20 mm on the all the time.
Great video! Picked mine up yesterday. I love it! I was concerned a bit about the size, hoping it wouldn’t be too big, but it is perfect for my 6.5 inch wrist (55mm wrist span). Your video gave me assurance since we have similar wrist sizes and it looks great on your wrist. I tried on a 36mm Explorer and it was just too small for my taste.
Also, for anyone that is curious, I was on the waitlist for a little over a month. I think I got very lucky that I didn’t have to wait a long time, like I thought I would.

Thanks in advance!
Hey Michael what store did you purchase from and was it in person or online ? Thanks
36 mm fits Tim's wrist much better in my opinion
Just me or is this Rolex's best design?. Its reminiscent of a 1960s italian sports car.
I didn't know Dan Ackroyd is now doing Rolex video narrations. Wow!!
You make by far and away the best no fuss hands on watch videos on CZcams ! Your wrist also being 16cm makes it a good judgement for us average to smaller size wrist guys , unlike some. The watch looks good until they mention 7.25 inch wrist or something like that!
As for the watch .. no need to say anything . Quintessential Rolex!
Amazing detailed review, I am in love with this watch.
34 to 36mm perfect size range for a man. 7" wrist here.
I am going to buy this watch!
Good luck! The Authorized Dealers are controlling their release in order to create an artificial scarcity.
@@rj-yr4ql agreed, I had to wait ten days. Absurd delay.
ahh hard to choose they look good, first I like blue then I saw green also nice and this one- how come this one has gold accents? this is nice too because others doesn’t have gold accent, just white.
Excellent review. Regards.
Could you please do a side by side of silver OP vs Silver DJ you showed In your other video. Preferably with oyster bracelet and and both 36mm if possible
This silver satin dial with gold accentuation is my favorite Oyster Perpetual ever made. It’s absolutely radiant and glamorous without being flashy. My hope is that next year Rolex will issue a Datejust in the same combination as I need a date on my watches as I’m always filling out paperwork.
You should get a computer.
@@jswede1 you do you and I’ll do me
I am buying it for sure
Definitely needs a polished gold ring around the bracelet to go with the indices
I am picking up mine tomorrow :)
Excellent review of a classically beautiful watch. I put my name on the waitlist today for one at my local AD.
@8rick1ane My AD said the waitlist for an OP 41 is "months, not years". I hope she is correct!
@User 2389 you are 100% correct - she is a hottie! I went by to see her last week and she told me that my chances of getting any OP are now zero. Total shots how. But she said she could get me a Datejust. I also visited two other ADs last week and put my name on their lists for a Datejust. They said no on the OP. Crazy times. I did buy a Tudor BB58 from one of the ADs and now they said they will definitely get me a Datejust.
Great overview!! You did your thing!!
I still can’t come around to liking the double indices at the 3,6 and 9 o’clock. Would of preferred the use of larger single indices there instead. The silver sunburst dial, yellow gold hands and indexes and seemingly cream colored lume give this new model release a bit of a vintage look. Rolex rarely if ever does that I believe…except with Tudor.
I'm worried about the OP 41 being to small for my 8 1/2 inch wrist. What do you think?
It would be a perfect size.
You will need to purchase another link extra for it to fit too, my wrist is this size and it wouldn't fit standard links. Cant believe how small the bracelet is! Any Omega I have bought I needed a link taking out apart from the old bond style bracelet
Put this watch on a brown RubberB strap and you will appreciate the true beauty of this watch.
Best color
Going to pick mine up on Wednesday 😎
Poor you
How long did you wait on the confirmation?
@@watchesinthewild8276 how? 😂
@@fvrs3411 it was about 3 months I think
Mad cat did you purchase in store or online ?
GREAT ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL 41MM WATCH REVIEW !!!!
Wow it a beauty.
Hello sir, can you tell me what the bracelet ref number is? Thank you.
Buying this watch
This one or the blue one?
this !!!
Is it gold the hour markers, logo and hands are made of?
Yes, 18k yellow gold
Simply love it. Where can I buy this? Dubai? Saudi? Anywhere in Asia?
Secondary market in Dubai has plenty of availability
Wonder how much it’ll be with a jubilee
I actually managed to buy this gorgeous watch from a Rolex boutique so for the RRP. Bare in mind that I was on the waiting list around 6 months before finally getting the call. Anyway, kept it for a short while and decided to sell it, for the same price I paid by the way, which was £4700.00. The biggest regret of my life. Why o why did I even consider selling this beautiful piece? Now I've been on the waiting list for 13 months with another boutique trying to buy it again. What's more, the RRP has now shot up by £400.00. Ouch!
£5400 as of yesterday mate, it’s gone up again..
I can’t believe anyone selling this beautiful watch, especially after serving that punishing wait time, and for chump change relative to ridiculous grey market prices. For me it’d be a keeper that sign post my life to the end.
@@Pulsonar The 41 silver and green dial will be discontinued this year. It will happen 100%.
@@mikehirewhy the silver? I figured they’d discontinue all the dials other than the silver black and maybe blue
Nice,
I don’t think a full link would be 5mm. More like a half link.
Great review but I need to direct you on something , Rolex doesn’t make the hands for their watches they are outsourced.
This watch is a beautiful and simple design and with the stella colors will be a great watch to have in any collection .
The 41 silver and green dial will be discontinued this year. It will happen 100%.
@@mikehirenot yet😂
WoW! there was always something about those cases,(rotating bezel or not), that those cases look much bigger than their spec. Mystery solved.lol feel like an idiot now,....doh!
Is that QR code or whatever it is permanent on the case!?
Why do you talk so fast without pauses?
Because most people’s attention spans these days on CZcams are less than five minutes.
@@matts6551It is a shame. This is a beautiful watch. I am not a fan of Rolex as I like manual wind.
this or the explorer 39 mm?
In terms of price/value, then this, as the explorer 39mm just shot up in value. If you like the numerals, history and locking clasp then it’s the explorer for sure.
This beauty for sure.
that 41 must look like a 43 in the metal. I never really thought of the oyster case like that. It truly is much more of a cushion case. olny the bezels and dials are actually circular. More like a dial sitting top of the case.
I wonder if you have an appointment with your dentist. You talk so fast. Or maybe u r an auctioneer

About 4.5 lakhs in India.
I have a question! On the edge of the case opposite to the crown, there is what looks like a QR code painted on. e.g. at 2.25 in the video. This is horrible, and doesn't look removable. Is it on a film that comes off, or is it meant to be there forever like unwanted graffiti?
It's a unpeeled sticker..meaning it's still brand new. Once removed the price if the watch will drop 500 as itll be considered new but removed stickers..
@@kickswhipsncubans8246 Good to know thank you. I've been on an AD waiting list since they came out, and looking at the used prices, I don't think I need to worry about removing any stickers :-)
I have a 19.2cm wrist measured cold, a 36mm OP looks pathetically small on my wrist. The 41mm is perfect, but costs so much more, a cheap replica is probably where I’m heading unless Rolex prices continue falling.
A Rolex is a trophy to yourself, get a fake and you’re cheating nobody but yourself
@@siman264 I know, but I recently settled for a IWC ingenieur 323904 Genta inspired model, it’s simply a gorgeous top quality 40mm alrounder time only piece. Unfortunately the Rolex OP did not strike me as convincing as I saw in photos when I tried it on at an AD. I waxed and waned in my deliberations on buying. Then I saw the IWC on Chrono24, bought it almost on a whim and a prayer. I was excited when it arrived, then tried it on, I knew the moment i picked it up (has a lovely weight to it), slipped it over my hand onto my wrist and snapped the buckle and twirled it round to see the face that the everyday grail had been found 😊 Rolex isn’t out of the picture, just the right model might not have been found yet.
That case looks way too big on your wrist, 39mm would be the one.
This one is 39 mm but labeled as a 41. Tim would likely work best with the 36mm

Why you say that?
Love it but I prefer my Air King. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so at the end of the day all the watch reviews on Utube mean absolutely nothing. I wish all these so called watch experts would appreciate this and stop doing reviews as they see it. What a bloody bore guys and get a f...ing life! They love to be looked at and hear their own voices. How dare they say a Rolex is better than Omega or an IWC or blah blah. Makes me sick!
waste of money big time
Why?
@@Alejosales do your own research
@@cfcreative1 great argument. Thank you for your useless opinion then.
Maybe every watch other than a casio f91w is a waste of money? This is luxury watches, OBVIOUSLY it's a waste of money, but we buy them to enjoy them
