      Yeah, I always roll it out to my back patio. When an ice storm hits, there’s about a quarter inch of ice on every single surface you can even walk. And since I live up on a hill in the country I can’t even drive out of here.

    Hi Vee! I’m excited for this grinder! I just ordered it thru your link ❤. I’ve wanted a grinder for months and months and months. I’m slowly killing my Vitamix. I thought about getting the heavy metal grinder you have but the weight and a few of the reported issues (although the manufacturer has been apparently very responsive to addressing issue) made me hesitant to pull the trigger. But this grinder is lightweight, Karen endorses it, and it’s about $50 less than the heavy grinder made me say YES! It’s supposed to come Monday!! Can’t wait! Thanks for sharing it ❤🪱

      YAY!!!! And thank you so much for getting it through my link. The company will give me a small commission. You know last year I had the problem when we had that ice storm. I couldn’t go outside to make worm chow so I had to go buy some worm chow for my own Worms.
      I’ve been watching Karen on her channel for years. And I could actually lift this one which I like.

      It was gifted to me, I saw it another worm farmer page.
      If you are wondering, all my reviews that I do are 100% honest, that’s probably why I turn down a lot of Collabs that come my way. I would never go on and give a fake review because I got a free product so I always tell companies make sure your product lives by its standards, because I will be giving an honest opinion , this one met my expectations. 🤣
      When I did the Collab with HISEA boots those boots are absolutely amazing.
      Another collab I’m trying to get is those Bigfoot soaps, I have bought so many for my husband and I’ve tried some myself and I am absolutely so impressed with them. Very good quality product so hopefully I will have those soon.

    I saw this the other day when I was searching for an affordable grinder. It is on my wish list. So I am wondering why you can’t just pour your bowls in a let it do it’s job? I store my feed in 5 gallon buckets. Can you move the top to other buckets or will the feed need to be transferred after it has been processed?

    • @TheGardenAndWormLady
      @TheGardenAndWormLady  Před 11 měsíci +1

      You can pour small items like corn and small oats, and just let it do it’s thing. I was just showing it like that so people can actually see it go down and grinding. But bigger pieces of beetroot or alfalfa need to be done slowly or another grinder maybe. I just did the bigger pieces slowly. I left it all in the bucket because it is convenient to just store it there. But you can make it and store it somewhere else. I did love the smell when I took the lid off to me. Worm chow smells really good.🤣 The company did tell me this morning August 14 through the 20th I believe it’ll be 25% off . So, I have been looking at this machine on Amazon (maybe different brand name but same machine). My question is if I were to use the smallest screen would it turn oats into powder?
    I like oats, so do my worms. I stay away from oats because I have to use the smallest sized screen sized sifter, I can find to process it after grinding and it takes too much time.
    For me if I cannot grind it small enough to fit in a worm's mouth, I do not use it in the chow.
    I like that it works for oyster shells, a lot!
    If you say that it will grind oats into powder, I will be getting one.
    I would like to try scratch grains for chickens. The scratch grains are cheap and have a good diversity of ingredients.
    Enjoy worms and have a great Day!

    • @wormsforlife7352
      @wormsforlife7352 Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@TheGardenAndWormLady I have a bag of whole oats, about 40lbs left in the bag. I like the oats for breeders, because of the enzymes they introduce into the bedding when I let it sit a week after mixing, before introducing worms. I watched the video but couldn't tell if the oats were turned into powder 100%. Does the machine powdlerize the oats 100% if the smallest screen is used? If it does, I'll get one this week through your store.
      My problem with oats is the slivers that do not grind into powder and then make their way through the sifter (it is unacceptable with my methods to have the slivers). With my method the bedding and the chow is like powder, so it fits in a worm's mouth. If it is not as fine as powder, 100% pure worm castings cannot be the byproduct of growing worms. I need the castings to be pure for efficient growing of the worms to desired sizes.
      Thank you!
