I’m trying to set mine , I got a new lock and I have to put in this code. It’s supposed to lock and then extract but it extract at all, giving me the 3 beeps which is an operation error. Is it just dead batteries??
These electronic locks are a waste of money. Always turn into a headache. Keys seemed to have worked for ages….lower cost. Again; technology ripping us off.
I changed battery's in mine to rechargeable energizers there fully charged but lock bolt comes out and goes back in the door then beeps red 3 times. Nothing is obstructing it idk what else to try
I have the same lock and a similar issue except you can't even hear the motor trying to move. When you press the button it flashes red instead of trying to lock. Not sure what is wrong :(

I did this. Didn't work. Changed the batteries, still doesn't work. Any suggestions???
If you reseted it last time, enter 0000, kwikset, 0, kwikset. Kwikset again
OK I reset the lock but it’s still not working I get a fast trouble beep!
