What actually happened: They were in the middle of announcing a same-day whole Bakatare 3D concert that had no merch to sell (it would get released months later), meaning that it was an event getting produced at a pure expense on their part just to have a great day. And then the timing of the news couldn't be worse.
The only one that was visibly upset was Flare, FBK was a pro and Watame was just being very mindful of Flare's feelings and stayed subdued. It wasn't Watame's place to be too emotional there because it was Flare the one most affected for being the genmate.
Idk if it's your ESL but it's wrong to describe Watame as "emotionally fragile". She is one of the strongest members in the entire company when it comes to mental fortitude. Subaru acknowledged her mental strength on their 1:1 off collab and there's a clip about this.

Flare FBK and Watame were praised for not cancelling the Bakatare concert and for giving everyone the best kind of distraction.
Fuwamoco has the most passionate community in the entire advent. The problem is, passion has a threshold and it WILL turn into obsession. No matter if it's 4chan or reddit or twitter. Same principle, different expression. Maybe extra slurs or two.
The thing is... they're also the biggest weebs of Advent. They WERE ex-Idols, same generation as Kiara, in-fact. Expecting them not to return to their JP roots is foolish.
I love the doggos and I love that they are able to do off-collabs with JP talents. Yeah, I don't really understand japanese and am depend on translated clips to see what happened, but love it regardless. They protect my smile and I want them to have theirs protected.
That's why I stick to only a few indie vtubers.

2:18:25 I'm not sure you will read this, but I feel like I need to at least try correcting this info as you seem to just blindly take the word of donator.
1) Most importantly - it's just objectively not true. Camila attacked Shondo before Neuro/Shondo collab and it's easily checkable by comparing clip publication date and Neuro/Shondo collab date
2) I also don't know what the dono is even yapping about. Shondo was Neuro's 11th 1-on-1 collab partner (1-on-1 because not counting gameshows with multiple Vtubers). Camila was 2nd. There were 8 different Vtubers between them who collabed with Neuro, but to best of my knowledge Camila didn't go and attack them because of some "spot".
3) And Camila at the time also didn't really have any big "spot" within Neuro community. I'm a part of The Swarm (name of Neuro-sama's fanbase) and more warm treatment at the time was directed towards Miyune (she was the first collab and managed to set a really good impression), Filian (already had 3 collabs with Neuro at the time) and Anny (was drawing new Neuro model obviously). Camila only started gaining really big ground in Neuro community after her re-debut in the summer as she started hanging out with Vedal a lot while streaming. And since Vedal himself doesn't want to stream without Neuro-sama, The Swarm naturally hanged out on Camila's channel to watch.
