    Vshojp vs Nux back then showed me how unprofessional the company was. Gunrun lack of accountability and no words apologising to Nux after the dog piling,was disappointing. Gunrun delegates a staff to negotiate with Nux regarding the fake audition website. That staff words was ambiguous and not sure if the person who misinformed the Vshojo talents were the same person. Regardless Gunrun as the head of the company who give that person authority as representative must share some responsibility. Unfortunately in his statement after Nux respond with receipt was sound like he was inconvenienced. He said no apologies to Nux and still shade him by telling us that the talents had unpleasant experience with Nux in the past. Therefore justifying their negative response to Nux. I think only Mousse (while she admitted no longer friends with Nux) and Zentreya openly apologised to Nux. Until Henya,Kuro and Matara joint the group then heat their testimony how helpful the management to them. I personally feel the company might be better than I thought. Hope they if there's a problem like Nux happen again will show a better response.

    Good talent does not equal good management. The management still threw nux under the bus, let froot bm silver, and didn't defend silver much during Hogwarts. Im worried that Henya would be bullied by froot, or vshojo staff. Also they didn't say they that someone was impersonating them and scamming/doxing others. The only reason why people think they are better is because they give 3d models faster than niji, and you can keep your model. If you compare them to niji of course they look better but to phase or holo? They still look the same as years ago. Because of all this bad niji news we are now are letting past transgressions slide which I think is a mistake when they haven't proven that they have fixed any of them. Vshojo will get you money, models, and projects, but the talents were not protected in the past and we dont know if they will be soon. The best way I can say what this is like is if the local wendys that had two employees murders in it (nux and silver) cleaned up the blood stains, and now the staff is friendlier. They didnt add any bulletproof glass or more security cams but the vibes feel better now. (for those who didnt know nux had tones of colabs with vshojo to the point it was joked that he would be the 1st male vtuber in it.) I would not trust this wendys to protect their staff, they may pay better then burger king (niji), but those dead bodies speak louder than words.

    Geega joining V-Shojo to me doesn't get talked about enough. Among the content creation industry she is highly respected. Her professionalism is what V-Shojo gains with her. Maybe if you really don't like the poop jokes check her out. She can yap and educate with the best of them. Also, she well connected to other content creators since she also works with MSM. To further clarify that point Geega can collab with someone like Nagzz or ChilledChaos just as seamlessly as she collabs with her fellow V-Tubers. Yes, public perception of V-Shojo changed thanks to Henya, Matara, Kuro, and Michi, but I encourage you to not sleep on Geega who is definitely talented and lives up to her moniker of The General.

    Vshoujo is like a supergroup, they're either going to be a long-lasting combo of few elite musician from different bands joined and making a cultural icon like Mr.Big, Jam Project, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Journey, ABBA,- Or, they're going to stuck on a very specific niche with few audience and never gonna enter mainstream like Transatlantic, Liquid Tension Experiment, GTR, or anything Yoko Ono or other Beatles personnel did after 1980's. It's like Vshoujo didn't know what to do with everyone on their roster, not because they're liberal with their talent's activities, but rather they just don't care as long as their talent still making moneys. So, yeah, it's not because "having limit" makes the girl more attractive, but rather, because a working corporation know what to do with their talent instead of just letting them roam around and do stuff, but at least vshoujo care for their well-being, so that's a start.

  • @acmenipponair
    @acmenipponair Před 13 hodinami

    I never call VShojo an "agency". Yes, they do stuff like other agencies. But in the end it's more a union of indie vtubers. You can even see it by the fact, that VShojo ja zero problems in helping other indies when they are in trouble, that most of their members are former indies, all keep their IP etc when joining, in fact the management doesn't even tell them how to behave, as long as they don't provoke bans by twitch or go directly against other members. That's what a true union is (not the bastardized versions of modern actors, scriptors or steel maker unions, but the original idea of it). That's why judging them by "agency standards" is stupid - they have to be judged by union standards, which mean: Do they offer the best service to their members. Well, not 100% - but at least much more than some of the agencies. And like any union they even offer help to non-members - which no agency would openly do, often not even hidden.

    • @dreelkoodus
      @dreelkoodus Před 7 hodinami

      @@guilguis4820Yes and no. In VTubing, I would sooner put V-Dere and VChiBan in the category of "cool kids clubs" than I would Hololive or Nijisanji, with VShojo somewhere in the middle. The likes of the first two groups, it's almost impossible to get in if you weren't friends with the founding members. Hololive, Nijisanji and most other VTuber Agencies have auditions, so there's always a chance that you _might_ get in. VShojo lies in a middle ground where you have to either be on good terms with (see: Matara, Kuro, Michi) or a good talent for (see: Henya, KSon, Nazuna) VShojo to consider you worthy of joining the "club".

    • @guilguis4820
      @guilguis4820 Před 6 hodinami

      @@dreelkoodus The divide is accepting new members or not right? From that point on it's all about perceived chances, but they're still on the same side. If Holo and Niji accept new people and so does VShojo, they're all the same no matter the method. Just because they don't hold auditions doesn't mean VShojo is harder to get in. I'd argue it's just as hard as Hololive because the competition is so big. VShojo collabs a LOT with indies so I'd say that the chances of you becoming friends with the current talent and getting accepted are just as good as you competing with thousands of people for 5 spots in Holo every 2 years.

    minor correction. freedom does not mean doing anything you want. that's know as selfishness. there's a saying that explains the difference well: "your freedom to swing your fist ends at my face" for freedom to exist, everyone needs to have the same rights. otherwise no one has any reason to respect anyone else's freedom, and that isn't freedom. that's the rule of the strong, where only the most powerful have any freedom, and everyone else is beholden to them. and as soon as one of those strong people has enough resources to hire an army or successfully claims to be ordained by a god, you've got a monarchy. and that's about as far from free as you can get.

    VShojo is a traditional talent agency, as opposed to an idol agency. Both are agencies. In this case, VShojo exclusively manages VTubers, so yes, VShojo is a VTuber agency. They just follow the old standard talent agency model, as opposed to the more-recent Japanese idol agency model. In a traditional talent agency, the agency works for the talent. In an idol agency, the talent works for the agency (similar to a modelling agency, because that's basically what they are, and that's where they got their start). Pretty simple.

Bit of an aside, but as that feels kinda pertinent lately, I'm not sure how much I agree with this. Like OK, maybe I'm an outsider and maybe the traditionalists are some other group that I'm not encountering, but I feel like it's the latter part of that sentence that really matters. Some people definitely don't like politics, sure, but it seems to only be politics when they don't like it; When they do like it, it's "HAHA BASED". VTuber things ~ one thing u mentioned was the demographic of normal streamers vs vtubers. [then VTubers being different]. It's definitely interesting cause of various factors but I can give some random perspective for people {there's a lesson at the end of this long ramble incoming}, most vtubers are casual-chill style gameplay/vibes, for myself, I aimed for a pro level competitive VTuber and looking back it definitely wasn't the move [or at least it was poorly executed cuz I didn't dial in on VTuber culture aspects and embrace that aspect of the community a bit more], I was Rank#1 Global in a game named Spellbreak, then hit top ranks in various 3rd person shooters [Top300 Fortnite Zerobuild, then top ranks in smaller BRs]. I thought I would become known over time but I was not doing the proper things to actually be a big streamer. I was hoping my skill and personality would get noticed by a big Agency one day and have a chance to become one of the 1st Pro VTubers and applied a few times to Hololive, Niji, Vshojo but unfortunately never got a response. (Now looking back, I was naive and honestly joining an agency or gaming/esport team is something that would be very nice but not a direct goal anymore) Realistically I was/still am small [well I'm currently gaining huge traction thanks to becoming a Marvel Rivals creator, i had 100s of people watching me a few weeks ago for the closed alpha, but what allowed this success was I DIALED IN ON Fun VTuber Vibe.] When i blew up in a different game, MHUR, I went for top lvl skill content creator vibe with some memes and it made things too serious / too much of a joke to serious players, but it was scratching the surface of what I should actually be doing. I went into Marvel Rivals as like VTuber that was a retired pro vibe there for the fun of the game, our community & hype and it popped me off in a way I didn't expect. Now I'm in the calm before the next storm with the closed beta & going to continue to be more adaptive [and eventually move on from just having a main game niche but 1 step at a time] Realistically majority of the people watching a VTuber are not there for the gameplay, you can be one of the best in the world or better then every1 but still not be as large of a creator as a normal streamer, (people are watching you [vtuber] cuz ur cool!) so keep this in mind for competitive style games. Lesson here is being successful in VTubing there are things that are "meta" but there are things you can do to be different and hit where you want to hit. You can have a niche and make adjustments while looking to expand past it. Sometimes doing so you have to dial in on certain factors.

      Glad you're finding success in VTubing 😁 I agree that showing off your personality is just as important as showing off your skills when it comes to VTubing. Obviously, playing competitively requires a lot of concentration and practice which can sometimes come off as boring to new viewers, but mixing ranked with some chill and casual gameplay helps people and VTuber fans relate to you more

    When Kettle joined, EVERYONE was just brought together fawning over her and her cute English 😭❤️ - I remember she was still quite reserved and had Japanese company etiquette initially, but after she collabed with Pippa and Tenma, she kinda realized she could be less formal and swear and take playful jabs with ENtubers? That one-block Minecraft was one of those legendary vtuber streams lol.

    It should also be noted that Vshojo, unlike other vtuber agencies, usually have their members also be represented by other talent agencies.

    Vshojo is perfect for being a Western organization! Followed very closely by Phase Connect, there are No companies that even compare to these 2... Hololive is a true "Idol" agency meanwhile Western orgs just say "Do whatever you want"

    I’m a VShojo fan and I can admit that Geega was indeed an nepo hire. But signing Kuro, Mantra, and Michie has even out their nepotism, to me.

      To me, Haruka was VShojo's biggest nepo hire. She collabed with the Girls so frequently that when she was finally announced as a new member, it was basically just a formality 😂.

    As long as froot is in there I can't support vshojo, what she did to Ant Hime is unacceptable.

    Hot take: Nuxtaku is a moron and deserved to be dragged at the time, his vid led to the doxxer never getting apprehended and that led to the nepotism hiring

    Lets be honest, the only reason people hated vshoujo was for their members and once the problematics members leave people perspective was gonna change even with or without taking in the niji exiles. You also forgot to say that Froot also has a 4chan past and has done some really scummy stuff.

    Vshojo didn't really change, their model was just better suited for an era of recovery and without that era happening they looked, odd, unlikeable. Specially because it was ironing out some of the basics needed to be worked on that come with being any company. Silver (and vae to a lesser extent) can talk about how they weren't really friends with the other members of vshojo. But from experience i can tell you that often times if people aren't all that interested in checking up with you or being around you outside of business obligations or group obligations, then that's as much on you as it is them. People will easily be able to point out when they stop trying but will very rarely recognize the pattern of how that ends up happening. whether it's that they barely responded to people trying to check in on them or their negative behaviors in responce to check ins. Honestly with how everyone is on zen's streams (who is the vshojo member i watch the most) i feel like it's fair to say that Vshojo is a fairly united group. even if they aren't 100% friends off stream as they are on. Henya has talked quite a few times how zen has basically picked her up and brought her into the group, made sure she was settling in okay and made sure her voice was heard in the chaos of group chats at times. To me it seems like Vshojo just has a better culture then most because of their freedoms and their ability to work not only with each other but outside vtubers. Heck Matara has joked that heavenly should join vshojo cause he interacts with quite a few of their members regularly. I think the nepotism of vshojo is a good way to remind people that nepotism isn't all bad. It's kind of gotten a bad rap for being only the bad version of itself, Ie using connections to give people who aren't qualified positions they did not earn. Most times it's positive form is just called 'having connections' but that is literally nepotism in a nutshell. Vshojo used that to save a good number of talents, from Pikame of voms who was bullied into leaving early probably showing that voms isn't as good at supporting their talents, to several Nijisanji EN livers who like, we know what happened over there. Here's hoping they are able to keep helping their talents. Cause zen's music career has been stellar and i'd love to see more like it from the vshojos
