Again, video isn't made to be inflammatory or be uncritically hateful of Nijisanji EN. Don't treat it as such, and watch the video before making that impression.
Your last set of videos have been dunking on Nijisanji in general. You used to be cool but you're no different from the drama 'news' channels.
I mean, you're just stating facts. We can't say Hololive isn't doing well, cause Regloss and Advent are both strong waves. We can't say Vshojo isn't doing well, they've pretty much undone the drama that came out around the departing trio.
Nijisanji has a way of doing things that is different from Holo or Vshojo, as you say. Business-wise, what its doing is working for it and its not having these issues on the JP side. Its just that its business model doesn't bode well for the corporate success of subsequent EN waves, and the company has had a number of controversies of various sizes this year.
@@GamerX13X While I can agree with where you're coming from but TTT literally debuted a week ago. It's not fair for them to be compared to both Advent and Regloss. A smaller subscriber count doesn't mean they're not successful just as a reminder.
@@Galaxia1995bruh none of TTT reach 100K yet and Advent reach it in the day that they debut. If you watch this video, you gonna see the statistics going down and that FACTS! No hate to the members tho, Anycolor should work on promoting for livers that they already have instead of keep debuting new waves.
@@patcotine2105 Anycolor on the EN side do promote for the livers they have whether it'll be in clips or events on their official X account. It just goes unnoticed because of all the doomposting that's been happening this year.
Honestly Nijisanji could, and should, tone down the frequency of new talents. Clearly adding more talents into the pool with an already ineffective management would just worsen things. IMO the addition of the new talent within NIjisanji doesn't feel like a fresh batch, but instead it feel like an oversaturation of content with the frequency of debuts.
Yeah. I want to support the new kids but I can't even keep up with Luca's gen on top of everyone before
lmao if you read their company letter they actually think adding new waves is a good tactic for EN's numbers, shows how removed they are from reality
Not only has it been oversaturated but the revolving door of talents leaving + entering the company makes them look like a black company which I think with the recent opinions on them is actually true.
@@4tonmike I consider Nijisanji the thing I spend most of my time on by far, but I have no idea what the names of the new guys are
i dunno, i think they need to pump some consider the people that are leaving
If you ask me, NijiEN was at its peak after Noctyx debuted. At that point, they had 10 female and 10 male members, a perfect cast if you ask me. Even though Iluna had good debut numbers, I remember thinking back then that the cracks were beginning to show, that the branch was becoming engorged and oversaturated. Even now, it feels like Kyo is the only member who has any relevance out of that group. I think the agency should have put things on hold once Noctyx debuted and they had reached and good stabilization point, but instead they got greedy and overstretched the management and fans attention spans.
I agree, I was tryna think back to when Nijisanji was doing well, they still are just better than today, and I put the pin on Noctyx. I mean, I was hyped for Iluna, a bit apprehensive at first but after a while it felt right (mostly when they Kyo started interacting with the other members). But then Xsoliel came along and I knew that they would be next, but there was just something missing from that group. I don’t know what exactly but it just felt a bit tiring.
you dont even know what group kyo is from, what makes you have the right to make up all that stuff. also ever since noctyx, they slowed down with debuts and now 6 months gap between each group. that's not enough time? ofc you wouldnt notice their presence because you dont even watch them.

Nijisanji just treats their talents horribly, with constant graduations this year. It gives the company a bad name. Also, Kuro and Matara from Vshojo were pretty shocked on how good their management is. That alone speaks volumes I would say.

I feel bad for the newest wave getting shit out with no hype and no notice. I'm sure more people would’ve seen their debuts if they had more time to know they were even coming.
Yeah when I heard the new en wave doesn't have a original song or group name or a symbol I felt bad for them. Like I know nijisanji official branch doesn't do original songs, group name and symbols. But for nijisanji en did it felt special for only en waves and seeing how the first 7 waves had those things you would think this wave would have those things as well.
@@kinglightning5256 Definitely no new song, though they do have a shared symbol on each design, so there is that. As for group name, does seem like EN'll be taking the JP route of the members picking their group name instead of being given one.
I do wonder if a member dropped out pre-debut given the small wave, the very sudden debut rush/short notice, unpolished marketing items, and the lack of the usual accompanying group debut like a song that Niji tends to do. Even if I'm wrong, something certainly seems to have happened behind the scenes. It's a rough start for a new wave for sure and I have to think there was SOME reason for the apparent time crunch beyond the VShojo debuts, because even beforehand it would have been obvious that a rush job would only make the embarrassment from those worse.
@@fishrechaun6425 there's not "time crunch" and since krisis they dont have a group debut song. debut songs arent even a common thing in nijisanji, it was only in EN. They still getting songs is alredy big because not even JP gets it outside of two waves in 2022. and nijisanji always debuted members in 3, this is nothing new, theres no signal of any member dropping.
Just watch Vtubers from other companies like PixelLink, eien Project, and VReverie.
Phase Connect right now (where Pippa Pipkin is, and her menhera mates) is the perfect substitute to Nijisanji now, apart from Vshojo; and is more entertaining than that useless shitshow of a company that takes 98% of merch profit to its talents.
I didn't even know Niji had a new wave 💀💀
I only knew because I saw an ad for one of them lol
Lmao I only found out cause a kyomie told kyo during one of his stream 😂
I only knew from watching Selen and her saying a new wave is out lol
i think that is a blessing
the only ones who dont know are the ones who dont follow the accounts of the agency
That poor new wave had so much against them. Not only did they only have 2 days to get any sort of hype at all, but they were announced like a day or so after three ID members graduated and only a couple days before that, Matara and Kuro talked about how bad their former managers were. Not to mention the new wave has like no real name, or no new group song like the rest. The audio being scuffed isn't really anything that crazy, but it is a sign that they were rushed out. Seriously why not give them an actual name? Like come on.
lol, graduated? You mean after the last member of gen 3 ID have their 3d Showcase done?

Their group name is TTT (don't ask me what do the triple T's stand for, I don't know). Unfortunately, that name was given very late and wasn't included in the announcement, making it feel like their wave is nameless.
I think what niji needs to do is try to revamp the idea of vtubers and try to play more twists on their new members and try to go at a pace where people can get used to the members
This wouldn't change much, their management is still garbage
Or yknow, reduce the number of applicants and employees that come out every three months or so?
what they need todo is stop releasing new waves every 4 to 6 months and focus on their current talents like what holo en did for myth and council. Alot of Niji EN are entertaining but they fight among themselves for their viewer.
@@theifzelnite1087 Yeah, even for hololive, I don't following Myth that much after their debut, cause Vtubers selling point for me, is because they are Japanese.
But after some clips, collabs, and mixed events, I started to know them and realized Vtubers outside Japanese can be fun to with the right people.
Nowadays while I still not following them (just as other Japanese members cause the members increasing a lot) I still know what kind of person they are and sometimes watch their archived videos.
Like I'm not gonna lie, the advent members and regloss still not warmed up to me even now, we need to take things with new people slowly, just like irl.
Btw sorry for the long ranting...
Part of their problem is that not only does Hololive debut fewer waves so debuts are more of an event, but the waves are often filled with notable talents. Advent is full of humor of different stripes, and Regloss has an actually cultured person, and Regloss members do regular karaoke streams cause music group. Even though the two waves came out pretty close together, they each have distinct enough members to where you don't get much overlap.
NijiEN would benefit from slowing down the release schedule a bit and trying to bring in talents that really add something to the dynamic, or at least can make a strong impression.....If it wants to compete with hololive. Which it may not, at least outside of Japan.
This video hits different now
At this point, stagnating would be a rlly generous term
Matara hitting all time highs after leaving is the most damning thing. It's easier to be successful as a roach than to thrive in Nijisanji.
Very symbolic lol, I love it. 😂❤
Meanwhile in reality, she never would be in there without going to nijien because she was no one before lol
@@ausgod538So? Most of the popular hololive talents were streamers before joining hololive, does that mean their hololive career doesn’t count because they only got in thanks to their prior experience? If anything this just shows that nijisanji held back her potential. Besides most streamers start as nobodies so I’m not sure what you’re trying to get at
@@verktang6716 no it means they were much less popular before. This isn't unique to niji, others also weren't as big and much smaller before holo. I watched Nina before being Nina and she couldn't e en break 100 ppl while in NIjiEN she had 1k easily at bare minimum day one
@@ausgod538 and that excuses niji's poor management?
Funny that the reason why Niji releases new EN gens, is the same reason why Hololive does it as well, to maintain engagement.
But Niji does it following a calendar, while Hololive watches their own numbers, waits for the current gen to be stabilized in rock solid grounds, and then decides when to start a new group.
Then you have the fans who live a paradox of both wanting Niji to slow down and Holo to pick up. It is probably too late for Niji, and it would be the wrong move for Holo.
even with that the shortest gap that i see between generations in the same branch (a year), they gave the previous gen a 3D so they still have relevance
it is high time for Anycolor to invest more towards their livers. if things will continue the way they are, it will be the next ID
Imo it's only a matter of time if another luxium or noctyx member leaves this year or next year the beginning of the end of nijisanji en.
JP branch fans have been saying that for 4 yrs and hasn’t changed sadly
fuck that get a bigger yacht 😂
@@kinglightning5256you say that every time and you clearly don't know how anycolor works as a company. The branch won't shut down that easily, it's not id or KR levels for that. Even if one left it doesn't mean it's going to die, only they know their own expectations
2% on merch sales. Take it or leave it
I don't know if this video has aged well or hasn't aged well.
Jesus...
like most folks have said, the rush of pumping EN branches kill their flow. talents didn't have time to breathe and grow naturally like hololive. its becoming the point where they have to be a gimmick character to stay afloat, and once that gimmick dies out that's it. only a small bunch will be doing good while others will be buried, making it hard to crawl out and its a shame because their are gems in EN branch, it just nijisanji killed their spotlight
man... who knew the shit I've been saying since luxiem would happen. weird
Also what do you think people would do if they hear a lot of Graduation almost every months, it would be a negative impact to the company itself.
Even if they would get new members, and Japanese members actually doing well (cause it's their main favorite branch), the negativity came out more globally cause most members that having problems and graduated are non Japanese.
Nowadays people probably already expect bad thing would happens
i.e: "Oh new wave? Meh they probably gonna graduate after 3 moths or so" etc2.
So people wouldn't want to engage with new talent cause they doesn't want to waste time and money, with people that probably woulnd't around for a long time anyway.
Regarding the talents themselves want to stay long or not it doesn't matter a this point cause people already "stamp" Niji as such, I feel bad for the new members/wave.
@@TheMattVis i dont. you know what you signed up for.
That's how Nijisanji always have been and if anything they are going slower in en and 4 yo 6 months is very slow for them. They will never change that aspect
@@TheMattVis japanese Niji members actually doing well is just a myth. Only a select few favorites that keep getting opportunities. I literally only see similar group JK gumi, kuzuha, kanae, sanbaka, ex-gamers, and few others like shiina and hoshikawa that keep getting showcased by Niji. Considering the amount of their talents, I don't think that's a huge percentile of their total JP members.
I feel like ever since Nina left it became so quiet because she was the one that made everyone feel included and made people know about the new talents as well(besides niji themselves)
Right!1 I remember she had a whole series just speaking to other members one on one, even the members who were already around for close to 1 year.
Considering that what Nijisanji has been doing has apparently turned them into a *_$2 Billion Dollar Company_* I sadly don't see them changing anything for the foreseeable future.
I especially feel sorry for Selen, poor girl tries so hard to create cool new fun events and ideas for Nijisanji members and her audience and Nijisanji management shuts her down every time.
Christ, they’ve made that much money already?! With the way they’ve been treating talents, I’m surprised they haven’t lost that much money.
I’ve seen the backlash of Selen’s art competition, and I agree. People are saying they won’t be surprised if she ends up graduating, and I’m in the same boat. Selen deserves to be in Hololive or Vshojo.
@@ps4pro668 the cut for company and shareholder are bigger than talents that's why.
@@ps4pro668apparently the company model is very popular with japanese stock market investors and is the one that generates more money to that group. In fact when Hololive joined the stock market with limitations some investors pointed out Nijisanji model and suggested using that business model in hololive but were ignored by Cover executives.
So in the end is just about money and keeping investors happy.
More talents = more sources of revenue. And as Nousagi said, this is an EN issue. Main branch is doing fine, and to my understanding there are some differences between Main and EN in terms of expectations and requirements.
@@GamerX13X Interesting, I didn't know the Nijisanji Main branch and EN had different expectations and requirements. So instead of being just one top-down company, it sounds like the relationship between Nijisanji Main and EN is more akin to the relationship between Disney and Pixar.
Niji is a very standard JP company. Good performers and those who don't rock the boat get preferrential treatment. All the other nails that stick out get hammered in line or removed. A lot of non-Japanese are going to take issue with how the company supports their staff. Very business oriented moves securing sponsors and etc, rather than promotion or investment into creatives that may or may not generate a return.
it is more likelyhood of not generate a return hence why it makes sense on their end
@@akira8393 yeah i can understand they spend money on those good performers, but the too rapid release fo new waves are moves that are not very good, somehow i feel like no matter whether they are the good performers, bad performers, old ones or new ones, none of them are getting fully supported (not saying that the company are not supportive, but just some aspects chould be treated a bit better, like granting resources etc.)
Solid answer. Niji is pretty JP work cultures that mostly not sit well outside JP, especially EN that obviously come from US/EU. JP working culture is prioritize business and profits. So they expect their talents to generate the most profits to them and reaching the KPI/target. And you must copy exactly how they wanted you to behave, speak, etc. Even if you clearly cant/dont like it at all.
If you cant do that, you will be pushed out from stages, shut down, and eventually released/graduates. High turnover rates bcs of this stressfull management is part of JP work culture that dont respect psychological/mental damages(you can find it a lot of info on youtube about this). Also reflecting why Japanese people struggles having kids/dating. Not all JP companies like this but most especially the famous known one is exactly like this.
I saw that clip of Matara being surprised at the management in Vshojo, and it just disappointed me.
Along with your video on Niji’s downfall, I’m really starting to think that this company’s EN branch is gonna collapse eventually. Poor management, bullshit decisions like not letting Selen do any more contests, and Sayu’s document on what went down in her time at Nijisanji. These are things that will be the death of NijiEN, at least in my opinion.
Vshojo improved since those three left, Hololive has been on a roll for a while now, yet Niji is only hurting it’s reputation more and more. It’s insane.
Oh yeah trust me if another luxium or noctyx member leaves this year or next year it will be the beginning of the end of nijisanji en and they'll join the official branch. Also imo wouldn't be surprised if selen is waiting to see how vspo turns out on the en side and also wouldn't be surprised if pomu doing hololive en gen 4 applications to join kiara and nerissa. @@akira8393 nah the vshojo debuts where well received because they were known already, a lot of fans ran to twitch. Nijisanji is the one throwing out debuts every 6 months. The numbers keep dropping and at this point it’s just sad, because even if the current talents have nothing to do with these decisions they’re still associated with the company. Not to mention the new talents are the ones most affected since they can’t even establish themselves apart from their coworkers.
Yeah... when Hololive's ReGloss debuted, I didn't even bother checking them out, since they debuted only like a month after Advent. And yet Niji is doing that all the time, debuts don't feel special, so not many people care. In that matter, Vshojo has the best policy of adding one member once in a blue moon, only speeding up recently, and it's probably not going to be a speed they maintain.
Basically, Vshojo debuts feel like a sequel. Hololive debuts feel like an expansion pack with a proper new story that intertwines with the rest of the game. Niji debuts feel like a DLC that adds a bonus character that doesn't fit into the story.
And Holo management realized that and they (and their talents) went out of their way to help promote ReGloss (A-Chan clarfying what their branch does, old members co-streaming their debuts, inviting them to participate in the Minecraft Sports Fes...etc.)
Now, two months into their debut, all ReGloss members are either approaching or already over 200K (with Raden over 300K already).
This type of "on-boarding" process/help is what's sorely missing with new Niji talents
For Regloss, maybe for us, EN sphere, doesn't do much because we had Advent recently. But for JP, It's been i guess 2 years ish since HoloX with no new gen. The thing with Holo, they might debut some gens close with each other but within different branch. Like Holohero from ID > Uproar from StarJP > Tempus from StarEN debuted close to each other. So the said gens still feel fresh and won't cannibalize the market because different branch and market.
There is nothing wrong with ReGLOSS debut because is not the first time it happened with different branches, the problem was probably the fact that they didn't explained was exactly was ReGLOSS and until now they are mostly the same as previous gens
I and quite a few others didn't even know what ReGloss was even supposed to be.

They really should've stopped debuting new members once they got to Iluna. Xsoliel was the beginning of the dark age of Nijisanji EN, and I just wanna see when it'll end (if it ever does) if the branch doesn't merge with the main JP branch first. If that happens, it'll actually be all over for EN.
as i see it they have been slowing down but the main problem is that they under staff still remain
For that to happen most of the members of the first 5 gen have to graduate since they're still big enough to actually keep Niji-En afloat.
Nah if they merged then they have officially decided to kill their corporation, en is so popular that if they decided to merge they're going to kill that branch and like a majority of the funds coming from it

Hololive has showed that is possible to increase the numbers even after the Vtuber boom, so if Niji wants to help their talents to increase their viewership they could, but sometimes all the terminations and graduations look more like a company restructuration than the consequences of bad management.

If Nijisanji wants to turn around their reputation they will need to do a lot of restructuring. Several if not all executives will have to be laid off and replaced with people who give a shit about the talents. Those people would also need to be able to convince shareholders that better treatment and pay for the talents would be good for their profits and brand. They would also need to improve the quality of the merch they sell. There would probably also have to be new managers slowly brought in and have them be ones who won't be vindictive and petty or incompetent. i mean at this point you might as well just brace for it because its gonna happen soon enough
**9** English-speaking waves in 2 1/2 years feels like the V-Tubing equivalent of a "Growth Ponzi scheme"
It's a three sided business model where early adopters reap the most benefits while the bottom loses out.
I think Niji's model of throwing as many VTubers on the dartboard as they can like AKB48 has always going to amount to fan fatigue for the company as a whole. I didn't even know there is 30+ NijiEN talents now - I only care for Pomu, Millie, and Selen. The rest to me have for the most part been largely forgettable or total fangirl bait that I have zero interest in as a guy.
What's even worse is that I can feel the neglect toward the female members of NijiEN, mainly because on my recent trip to Japan - I dropped by Animate Ikebukuro. There was literally a floor and a half of nothing but Nijisanji merch. Of all that merch, I would say roughly 2% of it featured members of LazuLight, Obsydia, and Ethyria. I wanted Pomu and Millie merch. The only thing I bought was a Millie plushie. Most of the NijiEN merch I could find was of the guys, namely Luxiem and Noctyx, I don't think I even saw merch of any NijiEN outside of those 5 groups.
Nijisanji's merch game is honestly pretty poor. Actually, if I had a complaint in general about the merch I saw in Japan - there used to be far more selection of cool things such as Coin Purses, Luggage Tags, Dishware, etc back in 2020 before the pandemic (I had gone to Japan early Feb 2020 before the shutdowns). In every Anime Merch store I went to in Tokyo last month (end of Oct 2023), it was dominated by Acrylics and Can Badges - which while they're cool, it's not so cool if that's literally the only things on sale. I hope the diversity of Anime products come back eventually - especially for VTubers. Most of the Hololive stuff I saw in Japan were Acrylics and Can Badges, and most resale stuff were Birthday Bromides - this is despite the fact there is more variety of Merch if you buy on the online Hololive Store after there is a merch drop announcement from a talent.
well i guess you could say that you are a acrylicsphobe and canbadgesphobe...🤣🤣
@@akira8393 I wish it was just that - but I actually think Acrylics and Can Badges have their place as the low price cheap-end Merch. Unfortunately I have a bit more disposable income and a need for more practical stuff, such as Laundry Baskets and Car Sunshades. That also kinda prices me out of Blu-rays and even CDs since they start at 3500 yen - expensive for CDs - and go as high as 10800 yen on concert Blu-rays. Though I did hunt down copies of the La+ & Chloe Leader Cards from Shadowverse: Evolve - both of which will likely never come to the EN version of the game. (I couldn't find the Koyori Leader Card).
But yeah, I found that I had more of a variety of goods in my first trip to Japan in 2020 then I did in my trip 2-3 weeks ago. Though, it could also be timing because there is a Hololive Tokyo Station Pop-Up Shop opening next week that will be around for 2 months. >_>
I think it was... telling that Selen didnt even know there was a new gen debuting
Wait, she didn't know?....
Yes its telling, because she was literally in japan busy with other things.
Niji stopping Selen from hosting tournaments really put me off of Niji tbh. I'm really surprised the TSB Apex tournament happened.
I studied economics in University and my professor went over the law of diminishing returns and I feel that Nijisanji has 100% hit the plateau for that economic law to apply. Plus constant graduations, bad publicity and constant debuts are burning people out. Heck I stopped watching a lot of corporate vtubers in general except for a small few but I prefer the indies which are some of my friends as well. All and all this is my opinion but I feel that Nijisanji hit the law of diminishing returns faster than any other corporate agency and I feel that people are starting to get burned out as a result
i have no idea what that law is but im guessing its pretty bad

Basically:
ANYTHING, from Upgrades to hardware and Technology/Software, to upgrades or scaling up productivity of a Business, all have a point where the amount spent for said improvements just start becoming too high for whatever gains one gets from it.
That Law/Rule is basically a reminder to properly evaluate WHAT and HOW much you're gaining for what you are spending.
NijiEN clearly has overinvested too fast, causing their Gains from each Generation debut to stagger each other, add to that improper HR management to get backstage staffing up to scale or at least be of the needed quality and Merit for the Tasks, and you see their business stagnating ajd risking critical failure
The sad part just seems to be that Anycolor operates off profit and results, and won't seemingly change their strategy. Seeing how so much of Niji ID is getting graduated shows they would rather cut off rather than invest to revitalize. The Japanese business model doesn't work for EN. HoloEN recognized this early on but Nijisanji doesn't seem to notice or care about that as long as the branch is profiting. And when it doesn't, we'll get a repeat of what's happening in the ID branch.

Should they play their cards right with V4Mirai, Globie, and VSpo EN, Brave Group might become the 2nd biggest Vtuber corporation, and a big comeback story from their past mistakes.
Still, it's sad that Nijisanji English has fallen on hard times for this year. Should Anycolor failed to address everything in handling their English branch, they'll sink down to the bottom in terms of international relevancy.

Things are going well for Vshojo, but it has yet to prove its brand power. It definitely supports its talents better. But they've never debuted an unknown talent to stardom like Hololive and even Nijisanji did.
Hololive and nijisanji only hire people with experience, they didn't debut a random person since what, Matsumoto and Subaru?
Yeah that is the downside to relying on established talent. You will have consistency, but it will be very unlikely that you have a breakout success story. Vshojo will never be the top dog in the industry with their approach, but they can settle in comfortably in the top 5.
@@lucasLSDKobo has never streamed before and has no past life, so no
The comparison being made here is Vshojo specifically poaches known Vtubers to add to their repertoire, well known ones only at that. OP isn't saying that an "unknown talent" is someone with no experience, an "unknown talent" is someone without a noticably large following online already and yeah the vast majority of them do not hit that mark. All of them had some sort of following before yes, but not a big enough one that they were really well known outside of their own following or communities they live in. (Nijisanji has a very good example within theirs of someone who was a well known youtuber, but only within certain circles).
Vshojo has never debuted a fresh talent, they always get talents that everybody already knows very well for the most part. Hololive doesn't aim for people with clout they aim for people with proven experience and talent.@@lucasLSD
How people still watch niji talents is beyond me. Shit, why the talents that arent part of the clique stay is even more baffling.
From my prespective I like how lot of branch interact like Taka suddenly Dueling Kagami, Selen bantering with Bobon, and how there is always that one random member being an unbelievably pon like eating a melted plastic or not knowing how to count. Their number in lot of personality is making it fun but suddenly I feel in beginning of 2023 they kinda push a break so much that almost different branch can barely collab
i dunno, everyone feels the same character trait from what i watched, the same humor, the same vibes. even some content that i thought would be cool like an outfit reveal. it's just meh
Nijisanji is interesting because they always seem to have really cool-looking models but honestly very few of their talents personally appeal to me. In fact, I find it very interesting that the few Niji talents that I DO end up liking seem to be the ones that end up leaving the company. Case in point, Nina was my favorite Niji EN member BY FAR and I was absolutely devastated when she graduated because I kind of felt like I didn't have any reason to even look at the company anymore. Of course, my next two favorites would be Mika and Mysta mostly because I loved their dynamic together and I also loved seeing Mika interact with the Holo ID girls (there was one especially awesome UNO stream that they did which I would tell ANYONE to check out) and now they're also either out of the company or on their way out. In the case of Nina and Mysta, I definitely feel like they're in a better place but I'm honestly just worried about where Mika will go as it's not like she's tight with Vshojo and I've never heard of a talent moving from Hololive to Nijisanji or vice versa so if she goes independent I feel like she'll just fade into obscurity like all the other ex-Niji members out there who AREN'T in Vshojo...which is a LOT.
From what I learn, Luna from Hololive is rumor to be ex nijisanji but I think Mika will more likely be join in vshojo with Mysta and Nina...
Mika did mention she wants to be a teacher.
Himemori Luna was a Niji member before debuting in Holo as the baby princess. I think she's the only one.
She left Niji because lower sub-count and viewership, management barely present, and I think the most important thing, she didn't had any friends over there, she was all alone.
@@vinhtran7980 Yes, she was Yamiyono Moruru, I heard people doesn't like her back then cause her model and her voice doesn't match. It happens a lot back then.
Okayu also got the same treatment cause her voice is, she was having a deep/matured voice while her model is looking cutesy.
Her model was kinda gothic looking, but the voice was still Luna.
It also probably the reason why she's using the Model she uses now.
I subbed to two different members but barely watch, but the one time I decided to unsub, I just felt bad and couldn’t go through with it. Even then, I feel like there’s nothing to really get me to watch them and doing so feels more like a chore than with anyone else. It frustrates me, but I genuinely don’t know what to do.
I’ll probably unsub and check in from time to time to see what’s going on and stuff.
Meanwhile Phase-Bros be feasting.
What disappoints me in NijisanjiEN is that almost all of the new vtubers they debut are still very NA centric. As a person from EU, I feel like I'm stuck watching the same old vtubers I watched since Luxiem and Noctyx debuted. What's the point of checking out new wave if I can't catch any of them live unless I give up on sleep and go to work next day feeling like crap. It's just not worth it. It's not like I wish new gens bad, I want them to achieve as much as they can, but even though I find their characters interesting from clips I watch I can't commit to buying a membership of somebody whom I can't watch. Lately I don't even watch their vods from debuts, I simply scroll to the part when they announce the schedule, look at the timezones and get sad all over again. Sure you could say that I can simply watch vods from their streams but with a terrifying amount of livers NijiEN have it's actually hard to keep up with anything.
i mean you can still watch the vods right?
@@akira8393 Please re-read my last sentence. I already said it's hard to keep up with vods because there are too many livers. And there is also the enjoyment part of being a part of the stream. Honestly I agree as someone that also lives in the eu I was really invested in Aster cuz he streamed at 8pm in my time zone but ever since he changed his schedule to around 3am where I live. It kinda became difficult for me to catch up with him. Honestly makes me sad

yeaaa, everytime they mention Tazumi on stream now I'm just like, "oh yea... that guy."
This might be outdated knowledge, but isn't NijiEN's management quite a bit worse than the main branch? I don't think that has much directly to do with the CEO.
Aside from the Company's perspective, I think one of the things to take into consideration when we talk about new gen is their senpai's exposure. In holo, when new gen debut, their senpai from all branch will try to hype them up and try to reach out to them privately (like when advent pre-debut, some senpai slid into Bijou's dm's and X's post. Presumably other member's too). While on niji (EN atleast), the only senpais that I could think of doing this is only LazuLight. I don't really watch vtuber these days, but seeing this I feel like nijiEN talents are on a race now. It's every man for themselves. Very different than the earlier days when Lazulight hyping up Ethyria and Luxiem and being a proper senior. Idk, I'm probably just not caught up on anything to justify what i said. So, my opinion probably wouldn't matter. Still, I hope the talents are doing okay from here on forward and the Company could really reflect on their decision making (huge copium).
i mean they kinda did, but with two days to hype it up. just a bit too much to ask
I know it's unfair to their New Wave to not even gave them a chance, but with the constant drama and graduations in Niji and Niji's way of doing things, i'll just stick with Selen and Hana until the day they decide to graduate.
i gave them a chance and it was one in the same as the others.
I'm sticking with selen and vox until they graduate too. I wish they gave time to start another wave as the last member wave barely makes it to its half anniversary

Nijisanji tried to apply the same model they have in Japan, but failed, because the western public is used to Hololive' style. Let's be honest, vtubers got more well known in the western side of the planet, because of Hololive.
Nijisanji treats everyone equally bad, but in Japan it doesn't seem to be a problem, probably because they know the principles of Nijisanji (Make every person in this planet have their virtual avatar; Give everybody a vtuber they can relate to or like; etc.), that's why many started vtubing in Nijisanji as a side, some even did it as a hobby. They aren't an idol company, they just use the idol concept in some of their livers, but they really are just a company that provides vtubing entertainment, they don't even pay a salary to their livers, they earn what people give in superchats and merch.
what are you even talking about lol almost all EN even the least popular ones are full time and earning a lot to the point of being able to reinvest on themselves and to travel to other countries, and in JP a majority also is full time with some working part time with university at the side. lastly, they make the most money on donations and voice packs.

Hololive general strategy seems like to let the talents cook, and support them all the way. They encourage the talents to interact with other braches through inter branch events and proving revitalizes the career of the talents, for example Peko-moona revitalized Moona and introduced her to more viewers. This strategy proves effective because it breeds more content for us, through wholesome and funny moments despite some cultural differences.
While Niji particularly EN side refuses to let the talent make an inter-branch events or community focus events, making the popularity gap even bigger and thus favoritism ensues.
I think Niji should do some inter branch events, and encourage the talents to interact with those outside of the branch. If Gura and Shion, or Pekora and Moona, can be best friends despite language barrier, Niji livers can too.
i think niji is very active on branch collabs. if anything, the issue i think is that it felt like watching a typical niji content where with hololive, you have sometimes miko say the funniest stuff to gura and we'd be dying laughing
Clearly spoken by someone who knows nothing about Nijisanji. One of the few reasons EN fans are angry at Nijisanji is because they banned Selen from being able to host international tournaments.

They applied the same business model in ID/KR, where they release new talents so fast for people to follow. I think it's possible they will disband Nijisanji EN in the future because there are no more profits. Their CEO is an idiot who looks only for quick cash using the initial hype when talents debut. Now it's not hard to find Niji EN talents with less than 1K live viewers. It's not a good sign.

Obviously, first Nijisanji need to solved their management problems first in order to attempt to fix their reputation in the west (i dunno how their reputation is in Japan), after that i thing that they need to stop releasing waves that close to each other at least for teh EN branch, one of teh main reaosn i belive Advent did so well is because i took Cover 2 years to debut new talent, people were starved for new members, and when it happened it was just wild, also the all of teh new members feelmdiferent that previous EN members, and one of the problems with Niji EN is what you said after Iluna pretty much it seem that they are releasing members with really similar personalities, the most different member was Meloco but that;s because she's a Japanese person that wasn;t even a fluent english speaker when she debuted and that was interesting, but i don't really need another Aia or Scarle with a different model, i will just watch Aia and Scarle.
Also it will take time for Nijisanji to recover the thrust of people, probably years, and with how knew the vtubing industry is we really don't know if Niji or any agewncy really has that amount of time, new industries can collapse fast when the interest dwindles and a solid base wasn't build.
Thier reputation in Japan is Rock Solid to the point of Unbreakable, the secret is that they have Sony and a couple of big Chinese Firms as thier Financial backers which is why Hololive still has not reach Japanese Mainstream.
I got the vibe from watching a lot of the NijiEn livers is that there's a very HUGE corporate culture difference when it comes to EN and JP and that the company thought that everything that work in JP surely will work in EN. You can see how some of the livers was uncomfortable to try out new things and often cite JP rules whenever their ideas got shot down. I hope they would have some form of suggestion box that EN audience can voice their concerns or interests to better adapt.

Advent is slightly ahead of Council in terms of subs growth from when they debuted and get roughly the same viewership. The problem is they all stream with the same 3 hour time period with 5 to 8 streams going on at once.
It's just everyone streaming at the same time, nothing upset me more watching their debuts than realizing they will all be streaming in American time zones, meaning I can't watch any live. I just whist they would add a couple English or European talents to spread the content out over.

It's not just Nijisanji but a lot of vtubers are having way lower viewers nowadays. Only a few manage to get above 3k. And then of course there's still the big ones Like Pekora who still average 30k or more. But most including Hololive has 1k or less.
@@Xochi_Mictlan nah I think people just more busy now, naturally, compared to under the lockdown. Only big indie vtubers is Filian and also Neuro I guess 🤔
There is not a single Hololive member with an average viewership below 1K, even the "least popular" branch, HoloID, averages above 2k. HoloEN and Regloss are both around 6k and EN goes up to 7-8k during periods where Gura is active. HoloJP is in a league of it's own with a 12k average
Nah man even the "least popular" hololive talent averages at least 2-3k there's no 1k or less lmao
@@shrekharvey8656 I've seen streams with 700 viewers for holo and like 100-300 for NijisanjiEN.
@@MoonlightSLN I watch holoID from time to time and they averagely barely hit 1k, unless it's a very important one like collabs or they are Moona, Kaela, or Kobo (but Moona & Kaela hits lower 1k too...)
The fact that I didn’t even know there was new Niji before this video shows how bad things are going for them
not really, maybe there are too much time in your life.
Any interest I had in Nijisanji died when Sayu was exiled and treated like shit, not to mention the kind of audience Niji EN is cultivating. Nijisanji EN is the VTuber agency for tourists and as a full blown coom brained weeb it makes me hate them even more. I don't want Nijisanji to suck or be lead by shitty management, but I don't want to support them while they're pandering to tourists and I worry one day they'll start hiring tourists instead of actual anime fans (though some would argue they already have tourists for talents). Also I don't hear good things about JP management either which makes liking them even harder. I want to like Nijisanji, I used to be a bigger Niji EN fan than Hololive fan but the over saturation and yabs have killed it. I have hope they'll clean up their act one day and be as based as Idol or EIEN, but it's gonna take a while and I honestly want people like Pomu and Selen to graduate and reincarnate so I can see them in a happier and healthier workspace.
Basically, this. As you said, NijiEN, specially starting with Luxiem, has attracted a bunch of tourists and some of their own talents (like Finana and Kyo) appear to be like that.
Also, Pomu and Selen? I see you are a person of culture.
@@yoman8027 I would personally put Finana into the battered spouse group of fans (as in she's been an otaku for a long time but certain aspects of the culture she still doesn't except which makes her sound like a beaten wife who still simps for her abusive husband), and I can't comment in Kyo as he's never interested me. Also thank you fellow man of culture.
@@NagaManga I still remember her banning the word "trap" and posting the "educate yourself" crap.

you know i'm little envious with anikara CEO Mr.Riku, he is what i called an Egotist like Ego jinpachi, except without the jinpachi and all Ego. his bussiness is very good for him and the investor cuz it brings them money with fast rates and cutting off with the unnecessary one and bring the new one for more consistent cash flow to them.(yes i'm complementing his method)
I think my biggest issue with this new NijiEN wave was the compounded problems they kept having. The scuffed audio tweet, the supposed "fix" that still had bad voice mixing, the 2 days notice... not to mention, if you go back to their debuts and look at them, all of it just seems really low budget. Which doesn't make sense from a 10-figure company.
The lore, the overlays, the stream assets... it just seemed like they finished their auditions, picked their people and said "Okay now YOU pay for your debuts." And then the talents were left scrambling to either find people within their budget or create it themselves. Even looking at Kunai's lore, she was clearly not taking the voice acting aspect very seriously. (Not to be critical of her tho, I usually don't enjoy insane, overblown lore. I really enjoyed that part of her debut lol)
It gets even worse for me when you consider the inconsistencies of the talent management team. Sometimes the management is good, other times the talents get no support? Like you would think a company that big has checks in place to ensure your front facing employees are satisfied with their jobs, and that the management team in charge of them are being consistent with their work. NijiEN doesn't like hearing criticism and will censor it to the best of their ability, but then why is it even a taboo to give constructive criticism when a project comes out sub-par? The best example being when four talents sang the song "Cage of Desire." There was a part at 2:30 where Enna sang the lyric "salves of their own, of their own endless desires." In the context of the lyric, it very clearly should've been "slaves" but I guess no one checked the lyrics beforehand to make sure it make sense, and Enna just recorded it that way to be accurate to what she was given. Even worse, the song lyrics in their entirety were way too complex for this style of singing. There's no way I would've heard of half of the words they sang, let alone understood the meaning, if not for the lyrics being stated on screen. The singing was really good, but the songwriter needs to chill, and proofread past the second draft for god sake.
They also don't allow their talents to talk about certain things, even if they're not that big a deal. I understand sometimes it's to avoid drama, or not dox themselves, or keep the shareholders happy. But that's honestly part of why I started watching more of the Phase Connect girls, which started with Pippa. I have memberships to a few of the NijiEN girls i rarely watch anymore, and my two closest timed superchats with them will be my Membership SCs. Sometimes it's just cuz they're playing a game I don't really care about, but other times it's cuz the Phase girls can just fuckin say whatever's on their mind without so much worry. Pippa going off on an MK Ultra tangent or watching car dashcam videos is SO much more interesting than watching yet another Honkai stream. The JFK game she did last week was hilarious, despite it being scuffed as hell. And that led to me watching Airi, Lia, Ember, Shiina, Uruka, Erina, and even honorary Phase member Kirsche lol.
Last major point, the CEOs of all these bigger companies I watch: Holo, Niji, Phase, Vshojo... only one hasn't been on stream. The CEO being on stream, and actively participating, really goes a long way. It's not just some big guy at the top anymore, they're participating in events, collabing with their talents, and all-in-all just making themselves much more relatable as people.
Yagoo is kind of a goofy guy, and we all love him for it. Prime example: him modeling the merch, and being on streams from time to time.
Gunrun actively helps his talents (and even his talent's friends!) if they're having some tech issue, or picks them up at the airport, or chaperones for IRL events, and quite a bit more than that really.
Sakana sometimes streams with the girls, doing Q&As or zatsus, but he also just replies with funny shit in chat or on the company discord. I remember the moment he got on my good side: The clip where Airi and him were doing a Maro Q&A collab (where Tenma jumped on the call and berated him, what a legend lmao). When asked what he sees the company becoming in 5 years, in the most non-chalant tone: "We're gunna be idols man." Like what normal CEO says that? His homie level went to the moon instantly.
And then there's Tazumi... other than the occasional praise and mentions from talents, I have no idea what the dude is like. Tazumi is a complete mystery to me, despite being the forward facing representative of the company as a whole. Never seen him on a stream, never seen him on a twitter video, never seen him come into chat to interact with talents, never seen him even try to defend the companies actions when they did something that some people didn't like. If I don't know the person who's making the decisions a the company, it makes me want to find ways to make sure the talents gets as much of my donation as possible, and avoid the agency cut.
That all being said, the new wave are all nice people, Claude is pretty funny... but I'm probably not going out of my way to watch them unless there's nothing else interesting, or they have some cool collab going.
I swear, if I had the equipment and wasn't such a pussy about getting too much attention online, I could make my own videos. I've basically written a baseline script lmao. Feel free to use any of this in a future video if you'd like. Sorry for the novel Nousagi
lol its clear you never watched nijijp in your life if you dont know that riku appeared in Nijifes and other streams.
yeah his point is the EN not the JP specifically@@ausgod538 so even you never bother reading it
honestly, this is the best way exactly how the vtubing scene is especially with the big corpos. i have respect when they give this very clear and straightforward, there's some level that you wanna really like the talents but the agency/company isnt doing a favor
Yagoo also comes to overseas events and greets holo fans. 😂
Help what was that metaphor at the end I'm dying 😭😭😭
Niji models are technically inferior to indies and holo. To me, this says the corpa cares little for each talent. all the drama and black corpa behavior kill my interest. Beyond that, up and coming small and medium sized EN companies are out competing niji for my time.
Of 15 members of hololive EN, I would say I like 11-12 of them.
I like 2 people in the entire Niji EN.
I wondered why that is. Surely it can't just be that hololive hires better people. I do not believe that hololive hires better people. I believe the talent quality is the same.
I think it is because the environment matters. It is why I just can't get into anyone on twitch, because I think twitch sucks as a platform.
Knowing the bad reputation of the company, it would take a lot to overcome this negative bias. I wrote off all of ttt pretty much immediately. Kunai stops the action too much to talk to her chat, Victoria sounded like she was using a $10 headset, and for Claude, I don't like his avatar design.
I think with hololive members, I would have pushed through these initial issues. I remember disliking Fauna at first because I thought "she does too much asmr, hard pass", and now Fauna is my single favorite vtuber. If she debuted anywhere else, I probably never gave her another chance.
So I do think your environment matters. At this point, for me to be interested in a new Nijisanji member would take a lot.
i sometimes watch holo en, the person who superchatted a lot is the same person again and again. and its almost on every members. so i would say their viewers probably 70%-80% from the community. just imagine if that person was niji fans, 30+ members.. he/she probably just tired.
except the management struck on gold like kobo. not only her debut really trending in ID, if you watch her audience, most of her audience is normies, chinese and taiwanese . she even manage to get permision to play chinese game on her channel (which i heard is taboo in hololive) .
Kobo is the queen of dead subs, the only en member she gets better numbers than is Kiara. Which Kiara makes up for it by making 5 times the profit Kobo does. Kaela is the true ID queen she makes bank on her superchats and merchandise.
Kobo is pretty much proof that there is room for expansion in the ID community. I don't really follow here so had no idea she had followings in those countries, but I did know that she taps into local popculture and humor. She's also just a hilarious gremlin from what I've seen.

You know... You just explained Nijisanji's business model as a pyramid... is this just a Vtuber Pyramid Scheme?
At this rate I feel bad for Niji. Whatever they do now will be subject to initial dismissal and skepticism because of the things that happened before. New hires at NijiEN will never ever get the same level of attention, praise and hype that new HoloEN hires will continue to enjoy.
One mistake in the past and its over. You cant just return back to how things were before.
It's not impossible, I was just like nousagi, I didn't give two shits about holoJP after the Coco and Rushia graduation and termination, but they have improved, talents eventually got much more freedom and now I care about regloss and EN3.
At this point, I don't think Nijisanji wants to compete with hololive, at least outside of Japan. Even if they get diminishing returns with subsequent waves, they can make up some of that with the increased sources of money. The company probably won't do much of anything to change things unless something drastic happens. Granted, the poachings to Vshojo were notable for sure, but I'm talking like their top money talents start jumping ship.
Niji runs its company in a colder way than Hololive, and pain in the economics will likely motivate change more than some controversies. And granted, that may be the case. Big company changes can take time to develop and implement, so its possible that Niji is already trying to figure out how to make the next EN debut a greater success in light of the troublesome 2023...... Because that would make them more money, not because they care about the individual talents.
More like they just let the talent be.
And don't really have a Long term plan.
Short term profits is their way.
The only thing I'm keeping an eye on is Nijisanji's performance in the 2024 Japanese fiscal year. With most of the JP members reaching 5 or 6 years with the company with a few of them having a low number of subscribers, I wonder if they decided to leave Nijisanji sooner or later?
They aren't really competing to be honest. Like, yes they are in the same industry so they are competing, but their business model and target demographics is quite different. This is no PS vs Xbox kind of thing, is more like PS or Xbox vs Nintendo Switch.
Personally, I think that Niji is looking at a more ruthless strategy, where they debut new waves, then look at the talents they already have, and those who don't perform get cut, and the whole in market is covered by new talents. This way, they improve their chances of finding profitable ones. So we will keep seeing many graduations and many debuts.
And to think back in 2019 people said that holo was more black than niji
Nah nijisanji only think the yacht
tbf, almost everyone feel relevant up until Iluna come out, but Iluna only have some members feel relevent but at least they don't cause much trouble. Then Xsoleil out with 1/3 of the group cause massive drama, and they don't even really work as a group, then massive event like AR LIVE got delay into oblivian and got everyone burned out and lost their passion + bad management reveal after a bunch of fucked up. They make a chain of bad decision
i think noctyx was the start of it, and iluna had a really weak flow for a group. xsoleil, that was a family showdown really and pretty much everyone else is having a family showdown with their own problems
Nijisanji's biggest mistake right now is their obsession with moving to the new thing FAST. New gen doesn't even take long until they become senior of the newest gen; specifically, they get to be "new" for at least 6 months. They're not given adequate time to grow, just time to settle in while Niji was already setting up for a new gen. It is absurd. Once when I brought up this problem, people defended this, saying merch is giving that much profit etcetera. What they fail to see is that the newer gens will be stuck between their older gen seniors still rising with more attention and the shortly following gens gaining attention upon their debut. The current gen is under IMMENSE PRESSURE to NOT be left in the dust. It's a VICIOUS cycle.
Wtf are you talking about. Do you even know Nijisanji? They debuted 50 members in JP alone in 2018 and 40 in 2019. They already slowed down lmao in En they did as well now debuting 4 to 6 months after debuting 2 months until iluna
i mean can you say them to have any growth when there's nothing to begin with, everyone is just one in the same
yes, and apparently the format of pumping garbage doesnt really help now does it@@ausgod538
Didn’t even know they debuted or saw any posts despite having some of the members in my feed.
NijiEN suffers from one thing and one thing only: horrible top-down decisions.
And those decisions seem to stem, in my dumb opinion, from a single policy from the company: the Japanese "main" branch is the focus and heart of the company, and every other branch is nothing more than an ancillary, a side project...and we've seen this with how NijiKR and NijiID were forcefully merged in the "main" branch and their members let go without as much as a tear one after the other due to overworking, stress or simple inertia, and in how NijiEN is, again, left to fend for themselves working with the leftover budget and staff from Main Branch's allocations, basically forced to debut wave after wave to just try and keep being relevant while the JP talents of the main branch thrive.
Keep in mind, this is not an issue nor is absolutely fault of the talents in any way, nor it's even fault of low or mid-tier managers from either branch, as the old saying goes, "the fish starts to stink of rot at the head"
Thank you for your video! I have been thinking about similar themes recently - however, not about Nijisanji but about the whole industry (at least on the EN side - I don't speak JP etc. and in my languages, VTubers are a rare breed) and keep wondering how it is going to go forward. Maybe it is just something I feel right now because after already debut rich October we jumped into November with 4 generations in 10 days or so (V&U, Eien, V4mirai, Project F... dang, had to look it up), with Niji Oct debut it's 5 gens in 2 weeks. (And we had more debuts, like Kawaii etc. late summer/early autumn.) It just feels like companies discovered money could be made through VTubing and now are clearly set to get as much customers as they can.
And while I am struggling to catch up to all the new debuts (I am not an agency fan like some people, although of course I do have a kamioshi and one who streams quite a lot), I am wondering, how will the new Vtubers find their spot in the sun? I am wondering how well they're doing and I must admit, occasionally I get doom thoughts on how it is possible for some fat trimming to occur. I am really hoping for the best for the vtubers who debuted this year though (and even those, who sadly already graduated, like Lana, too).
Once again, thanks, it is always interesting to hear your thoughts on the state of the industry.
this is just my personal preference but I'm not so interested in niji vtubers because they look kinda... boring? with a few exceptions, it's hard to spot individual concepts when looking at the vtubers first glance. vshojo vtubers oftentimes have more interesting concepts that grab your attention - I mean Matara is literally a cockroach and you can see it right away. it makes you wanna watch her. the design already creates a personality. meanwhile it's difficult to associate something with niji vtubers if you don't know the lore. this is just my personal opinion, it's definitely not a general one and I didn't mean to hurt anyone with this, it's just what keeps me from watching nijisanji.
The collabs I see are all holo/vshojo/independents. If I were to see Niji collabs with those outside the company I would probably watch them more. I do like a couple of Nijis, but imagine you're watching clips of your favs, and you see multiple of your other favs collabing with new people that are also favs, but you only see niji collab with niji. It's a bit stale for me.
As somebody who never interacts with Niji, and never watches Niji, and never hears about Niji outside of Vtuber news channels, and will HAVE to join Niji... I am terrified.
You have too??

Them adding more talents just adds more fuel to the fire. It’s either them trying to make more money from the recently graduated talents or trying to beat competition in the amount of talents they have same goes with this recent drama. I do want zaion to rest after all the drama that had happened but the recent Kyo situation is probably far worse than hers and it’s the fact his own “fans” called him out for another group they aren’t even part of
im outdate on niji news, what happened to kyo?
Hard to get hype over new talents knowing full well what the recently graduated talents had to deal with.
And I get the impression Nijisanji is blaming the leaks and not their internal policies. Being in Nijisanji is a great opportunity. It isn't great being in Nijisanji however.
But you know. I never once blamed the talents for auditioning. You gotta shoot your shot. For lack of any other choices besides hololive or yet another lower tier agency that might be another scam... If holo says no and Niji says yes. I get it. Use that foot in the door to get in. Just survive long enough to graduate with a following that can sustain you once you leave.
A fracture of your success in Niji while becoming an indie after graduating is a net gain (since no one is taking over 50% anymore-you just need half of what you had and then grow it). Will you survive the meat grinder before then however?
if the mindset is to just graduate gradually, then it's not really gonna be good for both parties. the new members aren't even good despite the great talent they have. like vshojo, bringing the big guns doesn't really make it better it's just shifting their problems away. the problem is still there same with nijisanji where the people in the agency are just neglecting the problem
@@akira8393 If you want talents to stay. Don't literally drive them out like the ID branch has suffered. And don't treat them like crap just because they aren't 100% pushing for money and numbers and instead opting to build a sustainable base and community (niji wants short term profits and don't care about the long term for talents).
If Nijisanji wants talents to stay. Then don't pressure them into the idea that they are expendable and very quickly replaced with new talents. And overstretching internal resources to fail supporting most of them, resulting in favouritism. As their staff cannot deal with most of them.
Once Nijisanji isn't a dumpster fire. Yeah sure. I encourage people to stay. As is. Its more to the benefit to use Nijisanji as much as they get used by them. Get that clout and gtfo before that 50% take starts dragging down their actual worth.
Niji expects acceptable losses. Then enjoy MORE acceptable losses. See how it works out long term, building a bad rep from the limited pool of talents you might want. And losing them just as much as you gain them because you don't care.
for nijisanji, they dont want to lose investors i presume, because they numbers look good on paper compared to hololive. the reason being that hololive cares about putting talents first as much as they can even if it's gonna cost them massive money. if investors see something bad, they can ditch ina second, so it makes sense that they take the quick profit approach to look good on the numbers.
Nijisanji business wise is good, because nijisanji talents being bland and replaceable means that even something bad happens, they can easily kick out and put anyone in that can just be as good as vox akuma. In that sense it makes sense because if you can have 12 vox akumas, then they are just way easier and more profitable, which is why their schemes of pumping talents to even having an academy for it makes sense. maybe describing the talents are bland is not the best but lets say more easy that the formula is there, when you're like me, you can see the patterns in every en member and jp member, you know they are just as replaceable the moment they start to hurt numbers.
For vtubers outside, it benefits them and for nijisanji too. despite the bad image, they will keep going as long as there are people wanting to join nijisanji, there are people that are watching nijisanji. it's never gonna change. you either support the talents and let the wheel going or you stop it and let everyone tumble off to nowhere.
in no way that i am supporting it, im just being realistic with it. there are reasons why nijisanji is going like they always do. the talents in nijisanji themselves doesnt seem to care so long it doesnt effect them, so i doubt anything will change soon.@@ceresbane
