You need to get ahold of an aaz. They pop up in the states from time to time or you can buy one out of Canada.

@@OliverFetter well I went last year had a really good time but it kind of depends on how much you like get to know the community cuz it's like a CZcamsr event you have to be a CZcamsr to get in and have so many subs to get in, all of us were like interacting and bullshittin doing lives together so I knew a lot of guys and I knew a lot of cars so I was excited to see the cars and people, they have like a 10-5 tire race some bracket racing, heads up call-outs, burnout competition, best of show , it's a good time

Hey man this is probably a Long stretch but I Might try I recently purchased a 1985 Volkswagen 1.6 diesel rebuild the engine and only 127,000 miles I’m having problems with cooling i’ve replaced all of my cooling system and today after fixing it thinking I fixed it I messed with the tuning of the fuel injector pump and ended up blowing my gasket because of not right fuel and air ratio this is my dream car and I’d really love to get down and talk about it and some help working on he seem to be the only one on the entire Internet to have any idea about these vehicles. Please let me know!!!

Hey!! Cool! Hit me with details! Is it naturally aspirated? Is it turbocharged? What size turbo? Are you using head studs or head bolts? Did you rebuild it yourself or have a shop do it? Was it still overheating when the (presumably) head gasket blew? What told you it was overheating? Try to be brief & detailed and I'll do my best to help 🌞

It a 1984 Volkswagen golf 1.6 naturally aspirated diesel. No turbo yet. Im using head bolts on a brand new cylinder head. I rebuilt the engine my self. Well the top end rebuilt came from a shop brand new. Purchased from Part’s Place inc. The bottom block only has 127,000 miles on it and looks really good no warping in the piston heads, or scorching on the cylinder walls. No metal or any damage on the bottom end when I pulled off the oil pan to reseal it and put new oil in it. It ran great and the first time, putting it back together and doing all the timing for it started right up and then took it on a drive. And overheated it because not having enough coolant. 😢 Finally when I towed it back home The next day, I pulled everything back off to make sure no significant damage to my brand new cylinder head. it was fine. Put a brand new head gasket and after then filled it up with proper coolant, got all the air out of the lines and drove it around for a couple of days before it just started shooting coolant right out of my reservoir so I thought maybe there’s a blockage or my reservoir is bad so I replaced my reservoir my radiator all my coolant hoses and my water pump and my temperature gauge. Then after replacing all of that I decided to mess with my injection pump fuel screw ended up putting too much fuel to the heads and blew my head gasket.
      - Sorry, this is my other CZcams account. But If I can get your instagram or facebook that would be cool, so I can send some close up pictures of cylinder head, pistons, and such.
Thank you again for reaching back out to me and helping me out with my build.

@@domdoesgaming7748 dang!! So was it at a good temp before the head gasket blew? - Ie did replacing your cooling components fix the overheating issue? I'd highly recommend ARP head studs for your car, but I'm a bit surprised the head gasket blew with no turbo 🤔🤔
You can look me up on Facebook but I don't respond very fast 💁

Yes it was at a good temperature when it blew. By chance, what type of coolant are you running in your Volkswagen and would you possibly manufacture another exhaust hood stack pipe I could buy off you? and thank you for responding I really appreciate it.

@@domdoesgaming7748 I just run the green stuff, 50/50, never been picky about more details than that! That's odd it blew. I never tuned the motor with the stock head bolts in it so maybe they are that weak?? Re hood stack: yes I could do that. It's tough for it to be a slam-dunk (fitment wise) because it depends where your turbo is & where you cut the hole, etc
