Simple, affordable, efficient, light...great first e-bike. Good review! Thanks
I bought that exact bike today and am pleased with its performance.
Whats the top speed? Based off your phone gps bro?
Bought 2 of these for $350 each shipped to my door. Good deal and great bikes for the money. I also have an Aventon soltera ($1100) and they feel about similar to me.
Where did you get them for $350?
@@Bloodstoner I got them off Amazon a few months ago. They had free shipping for about 24 hours and I pounced.
@@gunsfan4everDamn, will keep my eyes peeled in case they ever do that again. What a deal!
Did you buy this e-bike from Amazon?
Had to fix my back tire and now the chain pops when I ride 😢😢😢 help me
New ones now are $500 on Amazon, 500w motor and 600w battery. Just put mine together. Have to pay freight, so it winds up being a little more than $500. Still a good buy. My other "cheap" ebike is a Rad Mission. It is 500w also, may be a little more powerful? Have to inflate the tires, makes all the difference in rolling resistance.
Hello, I would like to know if this ebike is comfortable for me, who is 190cm tall.
Does anyone know where the "Discharge Fuse" located? I tried contacting Heybike support, but NO response from them.
Anyone know how to reset the TRIP METER? just the trip meter not total miles.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP! THANKS!
awesome bike for the price
I already no this is going to be a good vidio
hi MC, i have a question for you, probably you not gonna answer me but i will ask you anyway
i have a bike, an Rockrider 520 exactly and my model came with 80mm fork, and it feels amazing, how you ride it and all that stuff, but I want to upgrade it to an 100mm fork, but I am scared that this upgrade will make the bike feels different and also kinda mess the integrity of the bike, and put me to a safety risk
So what do you think about it, should I upgrade it or not?
20mm increase is not bad, it’ll be fine
@@MCMTB thank you
There amazon mentions that its a 500W and 27.5-inch size bike. However, you mentioned its a 26'' and 350W motor. Which one is accurate?
2 different options .
He prob has the race which is 350w and race max is 500 w
Yep, race is 350W and race max is 500W.
I have the max and love it.
@@dodgeguyzI got the max in Black coming this next week, can't wait!! Does it go 28mph and how long the battery last at that speed? This is my first ebike
@@jax597 mine maxes out at 19 in with no pedal assist. The battery last pretty long with pedal assist. I’ve yet to use more than 50% of the battery capacity. I’m not a full time rider, only for fun. But I like it.
Yes I'm stuck between the Jaison eb5 plus and the heybike race max. I'm leaning toward the Jaison eb5 plus. Does anyone have the jaison eb5 plus.
Don't know if you got it yet but the race max is definitely better imo
I have the race max in blue. It’s a year old right now. It has been great. Got my wife the city bike 350W and 36V 2 years ago. It has been great.
I got the race Max in black coming early next week, can't wait! Mine says it's 42v battery and 500w motor, I really don't know much about this stuff,it's my first bike. I'm 130lbs and hoping that baby is gonna go to 28mph. You ever have any problems with it? And how tricky is it to change the back tire in case of a flat?
@@jax597
It’s 48V it’s been great. Never had to touch the rear tire so I can’t say, doesn’t look any harder than a regular bike other than the electrical connection.
@@dodgeguyz you are right it is 48v, how fast does your go? I seen it say 22mph, it also says 28mph top speed. So not sure what to believe? Someone said there's topped at 19 mph. I'm small, so size and weight isn't gonna be a problem
@@dodgeguyz was your front tire wobble out of the box? Seen a few ppl comment on that
@@jax597 no. Mine spun straight. Still does.
How does it perform uphill?
It does perfectly fine. Quality isn't great on the wheel wobble - either a manufacturing defect or shipping / packing problem.
My Heybike race just arrived. I'm letting it charge now. It was advertised online that it goes 28 miles per hour. But you are saying it goes 21 miles per hour. That's interesting.
Most that advertise the max speed fail to mention that it is with pedaling assistants. I would minus about 4 to 6 mph from that with only throttle depending how much weight is on the bike. Hope that'll give ya an idea 😊

Is the motor loud on this thing? Hard to judge in the video.
it is quiet on mine, and quiet on my heybike mars as well
What i take mine on the trails no problem...what you talking about
It works well on trials?
You didn't even use the throttle of course it wasn't really going lol
3.6.24 😮
Thanks Paid $545 for 2 on Amazon
♥️✌️😊
Amazon has it for $230
I just noticed this and came here, I think I'm going to buy it, even though I live in the north and its winter it seems like too good of a deal to pass up plus it has free delivery. A similar bike I was looking at at $309 had $140 delivery fee.
@@ML-kx9gz there’s few heybikes are between $200 to $400
It's not 248 anymore I just looked back to 399 + 120 shipping
😂man don't give out the secret deals
I'm so pissed that I didn't pull the trigger on the deal when I saw it. I went to look at reviews first and then when I went to buy it the price was back up to 399 + shipping. Let me know when you get it and if it's new. 🤙👍
$567 each , sorry
Nice review!
a 750 dollar pedal bike will be a much better ride though. pedaling isnt that hard.
I don't think it's a matter of it being hard or not?
I agree. The ebikes are super fun though too
I guess that would depend on how far you plan to go, or how much up hill? Kind of a stupid statement really. If youre going downhill a pedal bike is awesome If youre going to climb for 4 miles e bike would kick ass. Its all about what youre using it for, and what you want
