Palace supporter here. I was at the game yesterday and what an atmosphere. We all know that the result didn't really matter to you but you still made your team proud. The singing and cheering from you lot was super loud, even when we scored 5 times. If there was an award for best away fans for the season at the Palace you'd win it. Congratulations and best of luck in Europe. You'll have some great CL nights and away days next season. BTW though, hands off Eze and Olise!!

Glad you stayed up - loved watching forest back in the day - great team and loved cloughie. He was the co - commentator with Brian Moore when villa won the European cup. At full time cloughie said “yes we’ve done it” he was one of us that night

Sad to see that a fomer player Ian "Chico" Hamilton passsed away the other day, RIP. He was one of my fravorites players when i first started to see the Villa. back in 1969. How joyful it is not to be stressed and worried about the last day of the season ! How 2 teams can be on 2 different pathways...Palace no injuries and on fire, Villa 11 potential 1st teamers out and limped across the finish line...
Huge strengthening needed or a miracle cure to stop these non-stop injuries.

yep indeed - our form has been a bit worrying of late - this squad is tired and they need to be able to handle pressure better - there were times last season when we had a chance to go top of the league but drew with likes of Sheffield United etc and of course losing the semi final of the conference league - Emery has worked wonders with players at his disposal and I trust him to address all of that next season, Squad size and mentality improvements to take us to the next level are a must or we will fall away as teams will raise their game against us next season. If we stand still then the likes of Chelsea, Man United, Newcastle and an improving Crystal Palace will overtake us.

My highlight of this game, last of the year, was seeing you guys in the stands!! That was absolutely amazing, thanks for showing us the Villa fans at the game. I got up a 1am to watch it and also had a watchalong on at the same time and even though I like palace and there was nothing on the game it was still a bit of a beating we took 🤣🤣 . Watching you guys at the match just reinforces the fact it didn't matter at all as all the hard work had already been done this season.

Great vlogs. Used to go semi-regularly to away games, but a few 'life events' in the early 2010s meant I stopped going for a while. Miss away games now, so it's great getting a bit of a glimpse of the carnage in your videos.
Amazing away end ... remember going to Palace away in the mid 90s and we got ~15 away tickets for a group of us, most of whom hadn't been to a Villa game for a season or two at that point! Mad how things have changed (though the atmosphere is still every bit as awesome, maybe more so, so fair play)

Reminds me of the last away games in the few seasons before we got relegated. We had been in a relegation battle all season but we're safe going into the last game so no one cared about the result. Think we played Wigan a couple of times, Spurs and Southampton
