Your shoes look good, bu tr I honestly wouldn't call it the BEST, tutorial. I think you need more details of how you're doing it. I didn't see you prime. I'm not trying to be rude. I'm actually trying to learn so I can design my own shoes, and most videos show the primer, and the detailing of the tape. But again, shoes look dope!!
Thanks for the feedback ! Yes i can agree it should be more detailed ! Thank you I’m glad you liked them !
Quedaron calidad !!!! 💖
I loved the colors selected!.
Alexis Gifford thank you! I tried to be patriotic !
Awesome work!!! Very detailed in instructions, I’ll be trying myself soon…. Thanks
Hey, just did two white hats in a blue, orange n black dip!!! First time and they came out good besides the back of them did not dip completely but I’m satisfied for my first try…
I’m glad you enjoyed and thanks for the positive feedback! Let me know if you ever try it out !!!!!
You're a great teacher
I really appreciate that!!!!!
Great job
Thank you so much!!!
Waoooo...so cool..
Thanks 😊. I am glad you enjoyed it!!!!
Nice, this is similar to the technique used by Ibanez guitars for the Steve Vai swirl design
Steve Blake that’s cool!!!! Yes it’s a cool style and a fun project !
very interesting
Susan Hewitt isn’t it?! It’s really cool!
Looks great! What temperature of water do you use?
That’s a great question! It’s just regular room temperature water or just regular temperature water from your outdoor spigot!
Does the brand of spray paint matter? Can you use the "marble" ink/paint as well.
No the brand does not matter, and yes you are free to try all kinds of different techniques! It’s fun to try different things out!
I had no one idea about this style of dipping and the effect of spray paint into water. This was so cool to watch.
R Rock yes it’s a great idea and an awesome technique to try with friends or family ! I’m glad you enjoyed the video !
What finisher did you put on them once u finished letting them dry
I actually never put any finisher on these although I suppose I should but you could choose whichever one you’d like! That the cool thing about hydro dipping is that you can mix and match and play around with it !
Does this only work with certain shoe fabrics? How long does it stay looking that way?
It should work with any shoe fabric and it does tend to wear after time of wear and tear with the shoe, but if you take good care of it, it will last longer. It also depends on how good of quality spray paint you use
Is there a specific type of spray paint you used?
macdud85 no it should typically work with whatever kind that you get!
👍🏻💖
Corina Gil so great to know about you! I hope all is well!!!!
@@chadgifford3568 gracias .
Did any water get inside the shoes??
Megan Floyd yes there was water inside the shoes but I just let them dry out in the sun and it absorbed all of the water !
Should I dry indoors or ourdoors
I dried outdoors it seems to dry alittle faster that way, but either should be fine !
@@chadgifford3568 I did it today outdoors and it came out amazing
@@brandfall9497 I’m so glad !!!! I hope you enjoyed the experience !
Is this just normal Spry paint or oil base spray paint?
It’s just cheap normal spray paint!!!! I could have used a better one but this cheap one worked just fine !
@@chadgifford3568 wow thanks for the quick reply, subscribed!!

Do i Need warm water?
Oh no you don’t need to use warm water you can just use the temperature of the water that comes out from the hose or just room temperature or cold water !
@@chadgifford3568 thank You man. I will Try IT. Ive ordered some colours. A knife. Primer Spray and varnish

It take way more than 30 minutes to dry, at least 24 hours for a complete dry.
Yes it dries really quickly ! At least it did for me especially with the type of paint that I used ! Yes a complete dry just to be safe would be a full 24 hours ! Thanks for the comment !
Show the back of the hat that you messed up!
I no longer have that hat to show !
Hey there Alyssa
What’s up
Hey how is your day
Hey chad I’m sad can you calm me down please
I need a cigarette right now
Why didn't you show the back of the hat? Cause from the look of when you dipped it. Absolutely none of the color got onto it.
Hey! You are absolutely right I messed up alittle bit on the hat but it was also my first time ever doing a hat and I dipped it wrong.
@@chadgifford3568 I can understand that. You did a great job for your first time. I did it with nails a long time ago so now I'm working on new stuff and ideas, but needed a refresher so that you. Btw, marbling paint works way better.
Lose the music please.
I’ve already made the video so I can’t get rid of it now
