Hey what’s up Mreggae so there really ain’t that much to it lol so what you want to do is tape the edges of the film before you put it in the water so when you spray it the film won’t expand to much 👍🏼 that helps for a perfect picture and so the picture doesn’t get distorted when you dip

What’s up K.H So I used a matte finisher on the sneakers you can use any one tbh it’s just what you prefer and also in order to activate the hydro dip film you need to spray it with activation spray any one will do it’s just all on what you prefer

Hey Drew, I have a question about starting on making custom shoes. I already do quite a bit of airbrushing but only on hard materials such as plastic. How do you prevent the water from getting down inside the shoe when you are hydro dipping, I would love to know the best way to handle this as I will be starting to make some custom shoes within the next month or so. Hey what’s going on Tyler so tbh I usually stuff the sneaker with a shirt and then Saran Wrap any openings as best as I can but tbh you can only do your best the sneaker will get wet regardless lol but if you have any other questions feel free to ask 💪🏼

Hey what’s up Breexe so you can acetone it off but all of the print won’t be off on the sneaker completely so I’d say just practice on some old sneakers first before you use your good sneakers 🤙🏼

Hey what’s up Steven So I cover each side with Saran Wrap after i dip it and then I dip the opposite side that I haven’t dipped yet , also the choice is up to you to let it dry then dip the opposite side I like to do it right after another dip then cover the side I dipped then dip the opposite side 💪🏼

Hey what’s going on Hagop so the spray I am applying is activation spray, what I does is activate the Hydro dip so you can dip the sneaker or what ever you using into the film 🤙🏼

Hey what’s up bro so typically if you Google hydro dip film they have a lot you can pick from you will also need a bin to dip in and activation spray my advice to you bro is prepping is
Key if you do any tape work to block off sections of the sneaker take your time and also practice makes perfect so try out different hydro dips you’ll get better as you go 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Hey! How long do you wait before covering the side you just dipped before you dip the opposite side? I don’t want to cover too soon and it mess it up
What’s going on Ufx so I dip it right after I dip one side it seems to work better that way I wouldn’t wait cause when it drys and you redrip it , it might mess up from wetting the dip twice

Can you use transfer paper more than once or do you have to have 2. One for each shoe
So typically I order enough to do both sneakers but if you mess up while dipping you can take it off and redip how ever it is hard to get off so I suggest you practice on a pair of sneakers you don’t want or that are old
Say question... is it a site I get the picture material on or hw I go bout gettin the tools etc???..
So you can search up hydro dip film and get the activator with it you would need a bin and tape as well bro and then practice from there on out 💪🏼💯

So you have to prep the sneaker very good so you have a proper bond and once you dip the sneaker you have to rinse it under warm water then apply a finisher I used modge podge before but I’m still looking for other finishers to try on the hydro dipped sneakers

@@customzbydrew26 You are very welcome mate! A little tip for the blood spatter is to try a tooth brush. Put the paint on the bristles and use your thumb and pull it across the length of the bristles and it will spatter like a clogged aitbrush effct.

That would be lit to do with the kids they would have a blast and so I make the stencils my self and the joker film if you search up joker hydro dip film it should pop up 🔥
What kind of clear wrap you used to cover the other side of the shoe while you dipped the other and did you use spray paint or you use angelus white or neutral paint as the primer?

So what I did was wait like 5 minutes and then dip again because the film has a finisher on it and if you touch it or something touches it , it will smudge so be very careful also after you dip wash the sneaker with warm water then apply your own finisher and you can stuff the sneaker bro with a shirt you don’t need and also Saran Wrap any big openings as best as you can tbh the sneakers will get wet but you can definitely try to prevent it lol

Please help !...I want to start hydro dipping shoes as a business..but I'm thinking about the amount of spray paint used per shoes ..it seems like I'll be losing and I dont want to over charge ...any advice ?
So typically I use hydro dip films I never used spray paint but I would recommend you look up hydro dip films and see what’s in your price range because prices vary also take your time and practice makes perfect 🤙🏼 you got this !!!! Another thing prepping is key so make sure you prep the sneaker very good to achieve a clean finish and dip on the select areas you want to apply the film/paint 🔥
