- LIVERPOOL will be a MONSTER under RUBEN AMORIM and here is why... 😱
Xabi Alonso has officially announced that he will stay at Bayer for the next season, which means Liverpool will have to look elsewhere for a manager to replace Jurgen Klopp.
Many Reds fans despaired, but they shouldn't have. Because there is a solution. And the name of this solution is Ruben Amorim. In today's video, we will tell you about this incredibly talented new generation manager and why he is the perfect fit for Liverpool. So subscribe to the channel and let's get started!
Why Amorim is so special
When we talk about Ruben Amorim, there are several things that signal that we are looking at a special coach with great potential.
The first is his career as a player. Specifically, he was a central midfielder who was known for his great game intelligence. He didn't have any outstanding physical attributes or explosive speed, but he built a great career.
Doesn't he remind you of anyone? Pep Guardiola, Xavi, Mikel Arteta, Xabi Alonso - all these top coaches had similar initial qualities. Obviously, it was their high intelligence and understanding of the game that allowed them to have a successful career as players and then ensured a smooth transition to coaching.
Ruben spent most of his career at two Portuguese clubs: Belenenses and Benfica. With the Eagles, he won trophies, including 3 league titles. Amorim also represented the Portuguese national team at two World Cups: in 2010 and 2014.
Ruben retired quite early, at the age of 32 in 2017, and plunged into coaching. It became known very quickly that this man had tremendous potential. The 2019/20 campaign illustrates this perfectly.
Just look at this timeline: in September 2019, Amorim took over Braga reserves, which played in the 3rd tier of Portuguese football. However, 3 months later, he was promoted to the head coach of the main team, which failed the start of the season.
Ruben received Braga in 8th place in the league and in the first match destroyed his native Belenenses with a score of 7-1. Three weeks later, he won the domestic league cup final against Porto with a last-minute goal from Ricardo Horta.
Later, in February 2020, he and Braga beat his other significant club, Benfica, away from home. This was the first time this had happened to Braga in 65 years.
In 9 matches of the Portuguese league, Amorim won 8 times and drew only once, lifting the club to 3rd place, where they finished the season. However, Braga finished the season without Amorim, as in March 2020, Sporting paid €10 million of compensation and appointed Ruben as their coach.
That's how Amorim went from being appointed to Braga's reserve team to a 10 million transfer to Sporting in just 6 months. Fantastic!
It's worth noting that for a club like Sporting to pay €10 million for a coach is something unprecedented. And this only confirms the potential of this manager.
It is worth noting that Amorim managed to lead Sporting for only one match, after which the football stopped due to covid. The team finished the season in the summer, and the club ended up in 4th place, tied with Braga on 60 points. Symbolic.
Please like this video if Amorim's rapid rise in coaching has been a revelation for you!
However, there was more to come.
Revolution at Sporting
Revolution is the right word to describe Amorim's work at Sporting. He not only changed the club, but also shook the entire league. In his first full season with Lisbon, he won the Portuguese league, breaking the 19-year hegemony of Benfica and Porto.
Moreover, the victory was achieved with confidence and style. Sporting took the first place after the 6th round and remained there until the end of the season. Also, the team suffered only one defeat throughout the campaign. In addition, Amorim won the Taça da Liga, which he won with Braga last season.
In the 2021/22 season, Sporting finished in a solid second place, again winning the Taça da Liga. This was the third consecutive victory in this tournament for Amorim.
Ruben is currently in his 4th full season in charge of Sporting and is once again fighting for the title. The club is now in first place, 1 point ahead of Benfica and with a game in hand. Therefore, the chances of ending this chapter in his career with a big trophy are quite high.
Why end it? Because at the moment Amorim has become the main contender to replace Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool.
For the Portuguese, it will certainly be the biggest challenge of his life, and for the Merseysiders, Amorim looks almost like the perfect choice.
Perfect for Liverpool
There are a number of reasons why Ruben Amorim is an excellent replacement for Klopp. Let's talk about them.
The first is how the coach is able to develop players. Here's an incomplete list of footballers who have shone under the Portuguese's management at Sporting: Pedro Porro, Nuno Mendes, Mateus Nunes, Gonçalo Inácio, João Palinha, Victor Gyökeres, Manuel Ugarte... - Sport
Pliz research about him. He is the closest thing to Klop there ever will be. We wanted Caicedo, we lost him and we got Endo instead. We were all mad. We wanted Brandt but we got Salah. We wanted Alonso, who is good but not yet proven, he was by far the best candidate, but we lost him and got Amorim . We wanted De ja vu🤣. We wanted Bellingham but we lost him and got Macca instead. Byt 6 the way Macca is as good as Jude -it's unfortunate that Argentina doesn't have the media dominance to hype Macca same way Rice, Jude, Saka etc are hyped
This Portuguese manager will change and define LFC, let’s not forget the last Portuguese manager to come out of Portugal, and completely dominate the premier league
villas boas was the last Portuguese manager !!!!!!!!!!!!
Mourinho done it with an open cheque book at Chelsea. Would he have been so successful without that?
I see a new pep guardiola in him
Boas
Amorim will flop hopefully so we can get Jurgen back after his break
I just cannot unsee David Schwimmer....in his face
Well, the main difference is that Amorim is playing with a double PIVOT
Is he a covert Portuguese jew ?
@@cy_pher03😂😂😂
Damnit why did you have to say that? 😂
Ruben will be a legend in LFC. Hopefully Inacio, Ousmane and Marcus will follow suit
I'm so excited ❤for amprim come 😍
6:40 tactics
Thanks later
I connected with him already.. he'd be the best for Liverpool.
🤣
Tlthis guy will light up the league
Quality content and thank you.
Premier league is something else with Liverpool fc every year having to play league cup fa cup and European cup. Let see and wish him well.
Amorim is Sporting 💚
Today Sporting is almoust Portuguese Champion 2024 because it has 7 point ahead of 2nd place Benfica. Amorim will be twice times champion of Portuguese League over last 3 years. Amorim will be the best option to replace J. Kloop for sure.
Dom a would be a monster under Amorim
like all of it and the style he plays BUT we should not sell gakpo or diaz, diaz form and speed is to incridble and gakpo is a choice to have when u need a flase number 9 in some matches
I like him already ❤❤❤
Will be special one n, 2
Morita is the reason for Sporting's strong performance.
All the team
Only because of Ruben Amorim ( coach) and Viktor Goykeres ( stricker ).
@@carlosbaldrico2406 Scoring a goal leaves an impression, but in order to execute soccer tactics, the position that connects defense and attack is the most important.
Bro can u pls do a video for bayern . Like can u tell us which cosch eill be prefect for bayern
Sell Harry.
YNWA❤❤❤❤❤
Liverpool needs a strong center defender and strong striker
Viktor Gyokeres must came to LFC . He is on of the best strikers of European Leagues this season.
Helo the new manger will be the best thing after Klopp en he is Ruben
It Fowler dyed his hair and grew a beard…oh my! Do you see the resemblance?
That's all very nice, but no two leagues are the same. What he did in Portugal has nothing to do with how it works at Liverpool. I hope it does, but only time will tell. The rest is just BS.
What part in particular do you find to be bs? I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm genuinely interested to know.
The same could've been said of Klopp when he was considered for Liverpool, but look what happened.💯💯💯
A new manager has to tick the boxes on paper first before anything else, and Amorin does just that.If a manager doesn't tick the boxes on paper then don't expect him to tick the boxes on the ground regardless of whether he comes from the Portuguese league or even from the Premier league itself, it just won't work out. For now,Amorin passes the first huddle with flying colours.
Funny thing is that Amorim actually said he would leave sporting if the team doesn’t win anything. Sporting is 4 points ahead of Benfica, sitting on the top of the table with a game in hand. Everyone here is using ‘Will’ rather than ‘would’ or ‘could’. Nothing is certain, he said it himself, his only focus at the moment is sporting and he couldn’t guarantee he would stay because he couldn’t guarantee they would win the league, which very likely Sporting will, so yeah 🤷♀️
Believe me - Amorim is The Coach that LFC needs to replace J Kloop.
Bring big coach cause thier is big players in the clup
Who?
The only big name is Ancheloti, but he is unavailable, unfortunately.
Matip leaves in the summer so they should sign someone to replace him. :)
No need to sign another defender.. wasting money. Just bring back NAT PHILIPS from loan. He is more better then Quansah
not this year :P
Amorim should bring Viktor and Ignacio
Specially Viktor .
@@carlosbaldrico2406 Yes, we are tired of Nunez's misses.
Theory based analysis and content shows zero football knowledge.
Exactly!
Trueee
Leave Ruben in Sporting.
A more re um??? 🙄🙄
Can Amorim speak English fluently like Mourinho?
Yes, he can!
He will fail here. 3 at the back and players who wanted Pep Lijnders to be the new manager. Too young, weak league he's in now. He better win pretty much every game especially at home like Klopp has or he won't be wanted here.
3 4 3 hell no not in the prem with liverpool so ya talkin crap sorry
Where did you acquire your crystal ball? You have no idea how well he would or wouldn't do so stop stating your opinion as facts.
Ive watched over 20 Sporting games he never changed this 343, besides others teams never pressed them..will be a terrible flop in premier.

This is the craziest thing I have ever heard. English football is never easy. Man City having the best coach and best players are struggling in the league. And someone from portogese league will make us monster?
Is because of the players he gets in his hands because his tactics is really good and he is doing wonders with the player he has. Gyokeres was playing last season in championship and is now one of the best inform strikers this season it's not luck.
@@franklinfrancis4905 he’s definitely not the only one doing such things and these doesn’t guarantee winning u matches. It’s the most intense league on earth and he struggled last season even at lower grade portugese league.
@@user-wm8bi1uc8pif you can’t see that he will be one of the best managers in the world then you are clueless about tactics systems and management in football. Sporting has a small budget. If he moves to Liverpool he has multiple world class players at his disposal. One of the best squads in the world. He plays in a similar way to klopp and is a young manager looking to prove himself just like klopp used to be. All of these managers have to start somewhere. He’s already won the league with sporting. If xabi Alonso came 4th with leverkusen next season would you talk down on him just like you are doing with Amorim?
@@NoName-pl7zm Sir, to be a great coach/manager you must go through some training process. Like Guardiola had under Bob Robson or Arteta had under Guardiola. Klopp has spent more than a decade in at Mainz and Dortmund to learn. I don’t see anything like that for this man called Amorim. He never even played under a legendary manager like Xabi did. No one becomes a great coach from sky or from mother’s womb LOL.
Man Shitty are hardly struggling now are they hahahaha
I think he is over-rated.
Doe's not fit Liverpool
You don’t know much about Amorim if you say that
liverpool have no hope😂😂😂
Why ?
Coming from a fan of one of those teams that will not taste European football next season 😂😂
And the clown of the day award goes to...
