  • A former police chief is weighing in on the Gabby Petito case, calling the events leading up to the discovery of human remains in a Florida reserve Wednesday, along with items belonging to Brian Laundrie, "quite strange."
Former NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce joined Eyewitness News to discuss his observations after the FBI unraveled new details in the case, including the discovery of remains and a backpack and notebook belonging to Laundrie.

By privileged men and the Petitos unfortunately are the family who experienced the degradation that happens mostly to women of color and women considered not credible, that's sad. If you look on CZcams at similar cases with men that are not privilege you will see how quickly they are addressed as suspects based on a girl missing for a day , look it up, this is handled with great injustice, in so many ways it's really sad, we are Gabby Petitos only hope, and I'm prepared to demonstrate, I'm not letting them sell me story's.

Or cry out to you, “Violence!” but you do not save? Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds. Therefore, the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted….” Habakuk 1:1-4
You will find God’s answer in the next chapter. “Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
God has an appointed time and he says “I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” Jer 12:1
As Acts 17:31 states he has paid FULL PRICE to guarantee the fulfillment.
It is a deep subject so I understand 2 or 3 verses will not satisfactorily answer your questions. It is a big universal issue that involves God’s sovereignty that can only be answered through time. Satan’s rebellion, initiated in Eden, brings an issue of universal importance-that of the rightfulness of God’s sovereignty over all his creatures, his right to set standards and require full obedience of them. Since the issue was not one of superiority of power but, rather, was a moral issue, it could not be settled merely by the exercise of power, as by God’s immediately crushing Satan and our first parents out of existence. This fact helps us understand why wickedness have been allowed to continue so long.
Justice takes time but it comes.

Every person who had an idea, my scenario was never echoed. The parents of Brian need to be brought to justice as well. Now way they could of walked up to that area without prior knowledge. Also pretty dumb of them to not even take this case to court. If O.J. got off, come on, Brian at least had a chance to get a reduced or not sentence at all. That or they got tired of waiting for the search teams/FBI to discover the "remains" and decided to lead them there by the nose.
These are the same people who didn't report Gabby missing for over a week after Brian's return, snuck him out in their camper, helped him hide, fetched the car from an area opposite of the "remains" location, and stone walled law enforcement & the Petito family all to help buy him more time to get away. Never underestimate the lengths parents will go to in order to protect their child, imo.

The slander of the Laundries on here is sad. The Laundries cooperated with the FBI. The place where they found their son was exactly where they told the FBI to begin their search a month ago. But when the FBI arrived there it was covered by water. This explains why the parents acted so weird. They were not being conspiratorial. They knew where their son went and suspected he had committed suicide. And they did the right thing sending the FBI to the spot. But the FBI couldn't find his remains underwater. And without a body, even the Laundries had no explanation for what happened to him. But as they live near to the reserve and knew the water had receded they went back again... with the FBI. And they found Brian where they thought he might have been all along. The parents are being unduly slandered by commenters. They DID cooperate with law enforcement and probably hoped police or the FBI would find their son's remains so they wouldn't need to. But the FBI failed. The police failed. And the cadaver dogs failed. Because moving water on a swampy flood plain will hide a body well. All the experts crying that the cadaver dogs can smell through water. Such experts. No. Actually, unlike the movies, sometimes they can't. This family had a son who went bad. True, they enabled his ridiculous relationship with Gabby, who was an emotional child like Brian. But it's wrong to keep pretending the Laundrie parents were helping their son run. No, they knew he was probably dead, told the FBI where to look and the FBI botched it.

Cadaver dogs smell through water and they had them on a boat checking that area and they found nothing. Brian Entin walked the exact trail yesterday for a news report and saw nothing. The parents go out this morning and within an hour they find his backpack.

They immediately find a notebook and backpack… that’s like finding a needle in a haystack! It was planted. The remains… I don’t think they are BL. I’m afraid it’s another victim of his, he had to buy time. Or… his parents helped him buy more time. They surely haven’t been worried about him!!!

Everything about this is strange ...parents finding backpack , skeletal remains(knew right where to look) . Let's not even mention the hand in the garden and the odd new hobby of gardening with no tools, no seeds no plants, an exchange .. perhaps Brian is alive and possibly removed body parts the parents placed at the scene. Why not? This is bizarre.

This find right after Brian's father called the FBI that he was going to search at the Carlton reserve smells quite fishy to me. For all we know Brian Laundrie could be cooling off somewhere laughing his head off for outsmarting the Police and FBI. It would really surprise me if the remains turn out to actually belong to Brian.
The whole scenario is just too convenient to be believed.
On the other hand, if it turns out to be Brian's, theen the parents must have known for quite some time and were just playing both the public and law enforcement.
Giving their antecedents, they're capable of doing that too

I think it makes more sense that the Laundrie's didn't know the full extent of what happened in Wyoming. Lawyered up, and knew precisely where Brian was. After more than a month of him being missing, I think their fear of him having killed himself became very real and they finally decided to check the one spot they didn't that they knew he'd probably be.
