I learned this method out of desperation when doing my brakes and shocks. On my 93 Astro, removing and installing wheels is no big deal. On my 06 Tahoe, my normal method is impossible. Short of calling AAA to help, I lined up the car with the jack so I could "shove" the wheel onto the lugs. Still a pain. Then I tried sitting on a small stool and using my hands and especially my feet as shown here, which made all the difference in the world. But I'm still going to the tire store when it's time for a rotation.
I agree! Doing a tire rotation on an SUV is definitely a work out! It's amazing how much of a difference good technique is, in so many situations. Thanks for sharing your story! 😁
That’s exactly the way I do it! Not because I thought of the mechanics of doing the job, but honestly that’s the only way I could get it done. Of coarse the easiest way would be to have someone else do it for me. 😁
Here's some links to past videos about the PP wheels... Road trip to buy them (and my drag strip trip): czcams.com/video/v7QSN8Uy6ZA/video.html Getting the wheels mounted: czcams.com/video/3nLc32V0hN0/video.html
Thank you. No one has a video on this and I'm not very strong so I needed a good way to change my tire without hurting my back
@Chicane - Great to hear that it helped! Thanks for watching and checking in! 😁

Agreed! I never really thought this out either, it’s just what I’ve always done naturally.
When did you get those Performance pack wheels? I don’t remember watching a video about that? Hopefully you have a video coming for those wheels.
