Just goes to show that what Eddie and Thor did was phenomenal
It's insane that the human body can even do this. It's such a heavy weight the only thing in my head I can compare it to is a half tonne back of gravel with a couple of bags of sugar in. Imagine picking that up.

The who has the record debate will never end between Thor or Eddie, its because Eddie did it at a competition and Thor did it in his home gym with a officator Magnús Ver Magnússon. Eddie argues all records are held at an event competing against other strongmen with nerves on edge.Thor's was not an official event because he was not under the heat but under the shade of his own design.
Magnus ver is Collins head ref. They did the same, Eddie has adventshelg with the crowd too. And didnt lock out in the hips. This dominatet him just like he did in boxing
@@jensejense I did not know that, I will have to look. The boxing was an embarrassment for Eddie though many have told him that he was doing things wrong yet continued sticking his head out and arms down.

He has definitely been the closest to getting this weight, the fact he got it above his knees one year tells me that he can do it if the stars align

21 seems to be his best, while it goes down for 22 and 23.
I deadlifted 210kg at 88kg when I was 50 - no wraps , no belt .

Smelling salts before lifting?
helps them stay focused, improves concentration, and lessens dizziness and pain. I thought it was also to help prevent a nosebleed.

He gets the bar so high & then cannot finish. Frustrating to watch as it seems he has it in him but can’t complete the last third.

He's a Ukrainian that lives in Georgia since his wife lives there, also Russia's invasion in 2014

It's not considered official since it was in his personal gym, however I think it still stands as the greatest equipped deadlift.
