    I think Peiman is the better lifter but Ivan is one of those crazy guys that will do or take anything necessary to get that record so the more reckless one will get the record

    My thoughts on this (If anybody cares): Right now, as of 7-14-2020 non of them is ready for a 500KG deadlift, but i can absolutly see in the future Pehiman achiving it in a couple of months if his body allows him, he is in great shape and definetly lifting better than Ivan, who is a beast in his own right though, but Pehiman is closer. The big problem for these two guys is their lock, i don´t feel like many of this lifts are fully locked so if they go by the feats of strenght rules i don´t know how referees like Big Z and Magnuss will feel about it, however i wish they have a good try at the weights and hopefully one of them breaks the record.

      are you silly? Ivan pulled 470kg like 8 months ago and nearly did the 501 (missed lockout by maybe 4 inches) He's there.

      I personally think Rauno Heinla will take it. Slowly but surely approaching the record, very little attention and pressure on him. Dude lifted 450 these days for what could have been 95% of his max, which would put him in the 470 range without a suit. If we consider a suit and a proper peak, he can probably take it. The evidence for this is the fact that Hafthor lifted an easy 470 with a suit on, which Heinla could most certainly do too considering his 450 was without a suit and not that hard. Peiman for example lifted 450 with a lot of difficulty in this video. Ivan did lift 470 with a suit, but in order to do that his max without a suit could be below 450.

    • @TheFelipe10848
      @TheFelipe10848 Před 3 lety

      @@samratsen5995 I disagree. Ivan always internally rotates his shoulders, this artifically helps him reach the bar more easily and stand up taller, making the range of motion smaller. But as the lift progresses he is unable to pull his shoulder's back and do a proper lockout. If he wasn't in such a hurry to beat this record and worked on this, he would have gotten it already, but instead he would rather lift bigger weights with form that is only passable in training. Look at Peiman's lifts and you will see he rarely does this, his lockout is much better even though I would say he is weaker than Ivan.

    • @TheFelipe10848
      @TheFelipe10848 Před 3 lety

      Ivan has nothing in the bag bro. He could take a step back and nail a little over 500 with good form, instead he decides to increase weights and keep his bad form. Can he even deadlift 450 raw (no suit) with a proper lockout and strength to spare? Rauno Heinla can and he doesn't have all this hype around him. Ivans shoulders are so internally rotated to diminish the ROM that he can't pull them back properly to lockout. In order to mask this he over extends at the end of the lifts, he should be honest with himself, work on his weakness instead of thinking this is a race and then demolish the record. He certainly has the potential to do so and would have already if he was smarter

      @@StarzzyJJASD 437 to 500 Kilo is a big strerch my dude, there's been like 30 guys or more than can lift that in both Strongman and PL, theres just 13 guys who are part of the '1000 pounds club', only 7 have lifted over 465, 4 over 470 and 2 over 500... The thing gets narrowed and adding that much weight over 437 can be hard as balls, Luke definetlt has the potential to hit a fucking big load of Weight over 500... Bit not yet, not in 6 months, it will take him a lot, no doubt he has the most potential but he still has to work a lot for it
