The flower is fully voiced
Pokémon should have important trainers being fully voiced with their dialogue
At least the most important cutscenes, as for the battles, they can say full short sentences, but for minor dialogues, just say some grunts when needed
Hard disagree. If you're replaying a game, or you just don't care about certain dialogue, it's easier to skip it if it's not voiced. If it's voiced, you'll probably have to hear the full dialogue or it would be awkward.
I think pokemon is almost there. maybe they will for gen 10

Hear me out: If we ever get a new Mario Kart, Nintendo should absolutely add race commentary coming from the Talking Flowers.

I was playing this level slightly drunk and giggled a bit at the first "Tada", but "the sequel" forced me to pause the game, throw down the controller and fall onto bed laughing. idk why it cracked me up so much
I thought I’d hate the flowers, but they honestly bring the world to life
They’re pretty cute! I know ppl said they think they’d find them annoying but they’re charming, esp when they respond to the stage and player’s actions

I know a lot of people think the flowers are annoying but I find the little guys to be absolutely ADORABLE. they're such cuties

I think the best one is at that one stage with the moving platforms over lava where the talking flower is in the roulette block mixed in with a wonder flower. If you manage to get him instead of the wonder flower he says "Look at me, I'm the wonder flower!".
I was already having trouble with that level, and I didn't know it was a roulette between him and the actual flower. I got the talking flower and that line made me just jump in the lava to try again. I was so done. It was funny though.
In the Japanese version, it just falls out from the block and screams "WONDERRRRRRR!!!"

I'm glad that we still get a talking flower if we get the Wonder Flower, 2 for the price of 1 and the player's survival.

I love how the flower gives you hints without outwardly telling you where the secrets are!

There’s like in one level where he saids. “You’re almost there, I mean uhh…”. But the flag pole was just a few feet away lol.

What I like about the talking flowers is that it feels like they are playing the level with you, especially with the second level “ummm..” “are they singing?..” “they’re singing.” That flowers thoughts are the same as your’s, that’s what I love about them. They make the game feel more lively.

These little guys was what made the game’s experience so fun to me.
I remember when I couldn’t stop laughing when I got the Wonder Flower in the ice levels, which started the entire avalanche. As the flower got caught up in the avalanche, seeing it panic screaming was too hilarious.
The fact that they can fly too means that they are literally everywhere you go, and it’s seriously the cutest thing when you find them.
So much personality in this game!

I loved these little guys! I played this entire game 100% by myself, and they made me feel like I wasn’t going through the adventure alone. I remember one of them even asked how my day was going or something like that, and IDK if it’s cuz I was currently not in the best place mentally before that or something, but I felt touched by that little blurb of dialogue for some reason.
That probably seemed corny af but I really do like the talking flowers personally and I hope they add more stuff like this in future mario games! :D

This is why we need more full-fledged voice acting in Mario games instead of just grunting sounds. Dialogue adds more charm to the characters.
I like how none of the other characters besides the flowers have voice acting, it makes them stand out more

the talking flowers are my favorite part of mario bros wonder. i like it how they dont serve any purpose gameplay-wise (other than sometimes giving obvious hints) theyre just there. its just so pleasnt to hear them pipe in at any moment with whatever random thought they have to share
The “sluurp” when I first saw it caught me VERY off guard and I started dying laughing

Honestly to me the most underrated line is 100% the one that tells you “you're gonna be amazing” right before the Bowser fight, the whole level had some great lines from them too but I love the way they encourage you till the very end. Best addition to Wonder.
