I'm the literal opposite; everything else is great, but the only singing piranha plants I'll allow are the ones from that JP SMRPG commercial.

I can't believe we got a reference to the old japanese Super Mario RPG commercials with the Piranha Plants.
Ninji Jump Party is probably my favorite level in the entire game. The beat goes WAY hard than it really should and they even let us recreate the effect with a badge we get later on.

One cool and small detail I noticed that nobody seems to point out yet until this point is that the lives indicator *actually* beats to the rhythm of the music like a heartbeat. Look closely at the Mario lives icon at 5:18 when it's static. Now watch what happens after the few seconds that Mario touches the Wonder Flower at 5:22. It beats to the rhythm. Pretty cool right? It just shows how much care and detail went into making this game.
So Ninji Jump Party has officially become my favorite level in any video game ever

Piranha plant lullaby was my favourite tune for years. This is a new level. Amazing.
My favorite one was Bowser’s. It sounded so sick.

I’ve seen people complaining about how similar Bowser’s boss fight was similar to Tiki Tong from DKCR.
I honestly agree. But I love the way it’s in a concert/ stadium setting, so I can’t complain too much.

The quality, energy, and freshness of this game honestly surprised me so much. My expectations were pretty high but they were somehow broken! One of the greatest 2D platformers ever!!!

Does anyone else feel like they finally nailed bowser's music in this game? All of his themes slap generally, but the rage stage...it sounds perfect for a villain with tremendous power planning to take over the world by making everyone listen to his mixtape

In the piranhas lvls a big piranha appears from the big pipe before the musical blocks, but u need to go a little far for it to appear

I just find it so awesome when these game devs get together and don’t set a deadline for the game to come out. I’m kind of considering putting this in one of my top games of the year. Definitely my favorite Mario game next to galaxy
