I love all the callbacks to past Mario games in the break time levels. The devs really put some love into this game.

Ive loved rhythm stages in games ever since Rayman Legends (which was the peak of gaming). I think Wonder really did these levels good
Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze had a few levels where the obstacles and scenery moved in time with the music.

@KookieStar I don't like Sunshine personally. But there are few tracks from that game I enjoyed. Mostly there overworld theme remix.
At this point, King Koopa have already conquered our hearts with his musical talents and entertaining stages... He is the true MVP of this game. He has achieved cultural victory.
This is probably one of the cutest games in the series. It's beautiful, funny and adorable all at the same time and I love it
If Piranha Plant doesn't sing in Smash 6 either as a victory animation or taunt, we will riot.

I love how there are flashbacks to Mario's past songs in this game like Secret Level from Mario Sunshine, Slider from Mario 64, SMW P Switch Palace/Bonus stage theme, and Metal Mario. It's a charm
Parts of this game feels like a rhythm game where you do certain things to a beat while the rest is just a musical.
It's a interesting choice, I'll give Nintendo that and I think they had a lot of fun making this one.

Piranha Plants on a Parade gave me Locoroco vibes. It was not a feeling I expected to experience in another game.

for those of you who don't know, super mario USA is an import of the american super mario bros. 2; the japanese super mario bros. 2 is what we call super mario bros.: the lost levels
I like that Super Mario Wonder borrowed a lot of ideas from Mario Maker. It's really nice to see all the level ideas that players had be made by the professionals at nintendo.
I love the delight in Peach's voice when she gets a high combo.

King Boo has a surprisingly deep singing voice.
The Piranha Plant one threw me so off guard and I loved it
So this King Boo is NOT the one from Luigi's Mansion, but just a regular Boo powered up by a Wonder Flower
They’re the same character. He has the same laugh.
@@Mac14329he is the same king boo, just means he use magical jewels to use his powers but luigi always destroy his jewels and the 3rd Game of luigi's mansion showed that king boo use magical jewels to get more powers like trap enemies on Portraits, etc
it's basically the same King Boo we see in the Mario Kart games

There is something creepy, yet hilarious, about singing Piranha plants walking up to you.

My hope is that they release a DLC with a Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island inspired level where you fight the Piranha Plants while "Mean Green Mother From Outer Space" plays as the backing track.
I love how it kinda feels like a rythm game at some point but bowser's fight and appearance kind of remind me of dj octavio from splatoon

I hope there's a whole DLC or, even better, a whole Mario platformer based on these kinds of levels. It's scratching that itch Rayman Legends gave me so long ago, like few games ever did.

(Side thing: when i was younger, i really wanted to play Sunshine, but it was only on gamecube, which i didnt have. The Gods must have heard my calls because a few years later, 3D All-stars released)
