I spent 2 hours beating that final level, but I didn’t get the top of the flag pole so I spent another 2 hours trying to beat it AGAIN

This was actually just a fun game to 100% :) I am not a 100% kind of person, but in this is just felt natural to do so. The only tedious part was getting all 144 standees. The rest was a blast!
Im just glad I don’t have to Pole every level with every character like in 3D World. I’m fine with the process of completing I don’t need a special reward for that.

I died for 3 hours straight straight. Then I paused the game went for night sleep and then at the morning I don't play it yet because I need to do some things. Then around 11 AM I started to play the game. After three tries I finally beated the level. I was like what the hell was three hours for?

I hadn’t died on a course more than twice before I got to the final final test. It drained 30 of my lives, but oh was it worth it in the end :D
I lost around 20, and I was playing online as Nabbit.
Same here so far, i was also able to max out my lives by the end of petal isles visit 1

For my second run i wanted to flex with my standee.
For my third run, which i didnt loose any lives at (online), i put my standee somewhere more helpful.

Currently grinding purple coins then I will have it 100%. Wonderful game.
i recommend grinding on piranha plant reprise, the flower coin fragments near the end are very good to have with the coin magnet badge.
I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE WITH THE "WONDERFUL GAME" but ya it is a gud game
7:11 this last room is hard but there is a trick. I stuck a straight line in front on the TV screen (with adhesive strips) where the invisible Mario is and in did it first try. You first have also to calibrate Mario's Position with the camera. I hope it helps you.

100%-ing this game was a treat!
Then I saw I needed to buy 100 something more standees...
But there are only 144
that means you only had 44 something standies
To be honest. The stander medal was the first one I obtained. Completing the game was 5th medal
This was a fun game to 100%, no doubt~.

Can I just say that on-line gameplay was a blessing in this game?
I was 30 minutes into this level when suddenly I reunited with a Mario, a Yoshi and a Toad in the same room. They saved me countless times and they WAITED for me until we proceed to the next section!!! LITERAL ANGELS!!!
For the last section, the Mario player even came back and stayed near the purple coin so I could die and get it.
I had so many fun experiences for coop in the game. Another one was in the goomba level from Special World, where I had another player try with me several times and we helped each other through the end of the level.

Happened to me as well. The spring level really got me the second time.
Imagine upon obtaining all the standees, the shop turned into a Poplin House, and when you enter it, there was a final Royal Seed, in Special World’s silver color. “What would it do?” might you ask? It would bring Wonder Gauntlet, Badge Marathon, and Wonder? to the same uh, “floor” as the rest of Special World. They’d be connected with white dotted paths instead of propeller flowers, & the icon of the seed would go right in the middle of the 6 medals on your save file. And u never know. Nintendo could update this game someday, and this could be part of it.

just unlocked the final badge... what a slap in the face
I was only able to beat the final-final level with the help of a friend. It helps a lot during the invisibility section to have that star above your head so long as someone plays as Yoshi.
Just did 100%, I guess that making SMB2j my favorite Mario game did pay off 🤣 (Also, did you notice that final-final test is kinda similar to Area-SP from extra mario bros?)

If you didn’t realize, the bonus coin level is from gaming over, not from beating the game

I could only beat the last level with nabbit… and local coop as it helped for the invisible level (first player has a crown on head so you know were you are) 😝 … will try with Mario and single player eventually.
personally i would have done a bowser mode for 100% you go through the game as bowser to save bowser jr who is under the influence still

Did anyone else need to grind that running badge level to get the final coins for the standees? Was hoping getting all the othet medals would reward like 300 coins or something. Also kind of odd thst you cannot buy power ups in this game. I love the game but just a few qol requests
Just like in the previous games, returning to completed worlds sometimes yields a bonus - in this case, a coin ship. The coin ships got me over the edge and I had just enough as I 100%d
I had to grind for 1200 more purple coins for it lol...thankfully I found a better spot than the jet run level though, that level is super slow for grinding coins.
How do you get other users to have a save file? Mine won’t load onto it.. even when I click create a user it doesn’t do anything
you have to create a new user profile for your switch. i wouldnt do it from the ingame option, just do one online or via the switch options itself.

@@Chocopuff287 in my case i had 3 user profiles on my switch before i even had the game. when i start the game i could pick between those 3. i doubt it has anything to do with how you get your game. how many switch profiles do you have right now on your system?

i did it with yoshi and got the badge you just have to go to the WONDER? level

How do I get the final secret level I completed the whole game I think
Get on top of each pole, get all Wonder seeds, get all purple coins. For the seeds: on the World/Level selection screen you can see the number of Wonder seeds you got. If you have all Wonder seeds of a World, the color of the number will change from white to green. If you think you got all the Wonder seeds but the counter is still white, then it means that you haven't unlocked every secret of the World and there still might be levels or secret exits that you have not found.

No. The level is not from beating the game. It’s From game overing. Thus you can get it infinitely

Play online and hope that someone put's a standee at the end of it. Also what helped me is spamming the emotes so it shows a icon above your head so you know where you are after each jump. Good luck!

@@dangeroussweeteners7479 I meant playing online with randoms but if you have a friend who can make it to the end that will work also. If you log in online you will see a bunch of random players playing along with you. But you are still gonna have to get at least half way through the balloon part at the very end of the invisible section in order to have enough time to reach the standee at the end of it or you will run out of time. You only have I believe 8 seconds to reach a standee before you die.
