as far as diagnostics go Its on par with MS908.
hey Mike..if doing benz add key via obd, when programming/calculation fails, the original key still works? Any risk of erasing original key when doing via OBD with benz at all (from your experience?)
Yes original key should work still..that shouldn't be an issue .. unless the original key was giving out already and acting up ..
Hola, I have 2 questions please..
1. During the programming, did you put a battery or must be done without battery?
2. If the frequency of the remote is different, can it be changed by the programmer or need to get another key?

How do you know if you can do something through OBD or have to do it on bench when it come to BMW and Mercedes?
How do you approach pricing out the job?

You can do only cas system via obd .. not fem.. for Mercedes it usually doesnt let you calculate password it keeps failing .. so that means you would take out the eis and do bench.. i charge 10%-15% of what my im608 pro programmer cost me .. no less than 10% percent ..
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE it keeps failing. After 30-60 minutes it fails? Wow why take the chance then? Why not just price on bench?

If your key doesn’t work on all keys lost it might not have calculated the right password.
are you able to do Add a Key for Mercedes 2005 sl500 (smart key/push to start) with the Autel IM 508 or IM608? Thank you and awesome videos man we all out here much appreciate you!
Mi auto abre las puertas y todo y si meto otra llave dice que no es la llave pero meto la original aunque suena como si cojitranco la llave pero no destranca el volante ni prende luz en el tablero

I added my key but it'll start and then instantly die. Any idea why? I tried adding another key with the password it generated and it does the same thing.
So, after I tried both new keys and they both failed, I tried generating the password again thinking it'll be different, nope, same password. Erased the key and re-programmed it.... Now it's working 😹 guess you need to write and erase china keys at least once to get them to work
I had the 2nd key fail again.... So I hit the unlock, lock, unlock sequence and tried again... Now it works 😹

I don’t understand the concept of this video ? Are you showing people how to program a key to their own cars or other locksmiths, last time I checked the public doesn’t own this tool or willing to spend money on it other then your competitor or car thief. 🤷🏻♂️
There are also other people that already have to tool, but sometimes need extra confidence by watching someone do it.
Ok I get it but do your realize that auto theft is on the rise and a lot of States require special licenses to provide this type of work and yet here is someone showing car thieves how to use the tool.
